Ha Joon stared at the screen of his phone. He was now back inside his room. His discussion with King Artoria went well, although they had to split off due to her duties.

Seated on the chair, Ha Joon placed the phone on the table, reading the stats that appeared in front of him.

'Oh, these must be the skills I thought of before I fell asleep. All thanks to my knowledge in stories, huh? Why are my stats empty?'.

Another template layer appeared on his phone.

[Stats need to be added by you]

'I can add anything I want?'

[Correct.]

'Oh, that's quite convenient. I do believe basic stats are, uhm, Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Vitality'.

[System has been updated.]

[Stats:

– Strength: 1

– Agility: 1

– Intelligence: 3

– Vitality: 0

]

'Ah, better. Although, are these my stats forever, or is there a way for me to increase them?'.

[Positive, stats can update through two means: one is through completing quests, two is through training]

'Hmm, okay, I think I understand that much. What about my skills? Novice? What does that mean? And what are those Endurance points?'.

[Each skill you possess has different levels where they are categorized into: Novice to God-like. The more knowledge and efficiency you have on a skill, the more they evolve.

Endurance points are used to determine how many skills you can learn. For every one skill you learn, 100 Endurance points are deducted. You can replenish by completing quests or waiting for your Points per day, which is 50].

'Oh, and I was able to learn 15 skills, so I basically used up all my points overnight. No wonder I got tired.'

Ha Joon stared at the screen of his phone, swiping to the side where he could now see the home page of his device.

Here, there was a search icon, and there were apps that caught his interest.

[Search engine]

[Notebook]

[Inventory]

[Magic Tooth]

[App downloader]

'And these apps?'.

[Each app is there to assist you. Search engine for when you need information from the magic web, Notebook for writing down information. Inventory is where you store your items, Magic tooth for connecting your phone's software to your brain, and app downloader for downloading more helpful apps (Endurance points) ]

'Well damn, seems a bit complicated but this might actually be helpful.'

He clicked on the (Magic tooth) app, watching as the blue icon zoomed in and another template showed up.

[Would you like to connect your phone to your brain? Yes or No?]

Ha Joon's eyes narrowed a bit, it reminded him of that one rich guy from his former world that wanted to use chips on people's brains. Went well for some, didn't go so well for others.

'Okay, yes'.

[Phone has been connected to the brain].

At first, Ha Joon felt a sudden sharp pain in his head, but it was quickly replaced by a calm blue light.

[System updated]

The female AI-like voice echoed inside his head.

'It worked.'

[Correct, the system has been linked to your brain].

'Better than having to pull out my phone to check for updates. Eh, so much better.'

[A new quest has been issued.]

[Quest: Epic change]

[Objective: The kingdom needs help with resources and living activities. Help the King make the kingdom better]

[Reward: 5 stats points, 300 Endurance points.]

[Penalty: None.]

'Oh, quests are given based on events too. Sick, that should come in handy in the future'.

[New side Quest has been issued.]

[Side quest: Challenge]

[Objective: Defeat a knight]

[Reward: "A random skill"]

[Penalty: None]

'Are you insane? You expect me to fight a knight? These guys probably eat sword training for dinner, and you expect me to just defeat one of them?'.

[Correct.]

Ha Joon's soul cracked like a rock. Looking at the window, he gently stood up and walked up to it.

The sound of people crossing swords got louder as he moved closer. Finally reaching the edge of the window, there he saw the knights training with one another.

It was an empty field, probably made for the knights of Camelot specifically, because Ha Joon couldn't spot any normal person. They all looked like they could tear up a person.

As his eyes scanned the field, he noticed a girl just towards his right, standing in front of a group of other knights.

"Hahah, would you look at that, the little princess wants to challenge me to a battle!"

"Hahah!"

"Utterly ridiculous."

The knights were clearly picking on her, but she didn't seem like she was even the least bit worried.

Her blonde hair was packed in a ponytail, and resting on her shoulder was a long red and white blade that she balanced with one hand.

She was also wearing a black tank top and a red jacket, followed by short jeans and red boots.

"What? Does the princess have nothing to say? Huh?"

"Talk? Come on?! Say some-"

It happened so quickly, the girl, with one hand, slashed her blade sideways and sliced the body of the Knight in two.

While one half fell to the ground, the other half went flying to the sky as the blood did a circle in the air.

The knights behind him were immediately frozen in shock, not a word out of their mouths as the girl walked away.

Ha Joon gulped down his saliva.

"Bruh, there's no way you want me to fight one of those? She just split a human in two with no effort whatsoever… what the hell?".

[You also have the capability to do that]

'Yeah yeah, I just have to defeat any knight, correct?'

[Correct]

'Okay then. That should be easy enough. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's pissing people off… but first, skills'.
