Let's train.

Ha Joon slowly opened his eyes, the sun illuminating through the window slowly reflected inside his eyes.

Squinting his eyes, he gently sat up right.

"Ahh, I'm getting a sense of Daja Vu." He voiced out.

[Reminder, you have training when Merlin by 10am]

'And what's the time?'.

[9:30]

Ha Joon grunted, slamming himself back on the bed.

Maybe training with Merlin was a huge mistake for his lazy ass.

Reaching for his pocket, Ha Joon pulled out his magic smartphone, the screen growing dimly on his face.

'Now that I'm looking at these stats, it isn't really that impressive. I mean, other than the fact I was able to pump out 15 skills, my Extra stats grow a bit too slow, hmm? I need to increase it faster, by a good means'.

[Continuous training in certain areas would greatly help you. If you had the mental capacity and knowledge, A skill booster or Stats multiplier would be an option, but you lack the knowledge to acquire an advanced skill].

'Ouch, way to hurt my feelings. Sigh! I get it, train the stats, yah yeah, it's about that time for my training with Merlin. I should go get ready'.

{Artoria's guest room}

"Are you serious? Surely you're joking." Merlin uttered, surprise hitched on her face while seated on the chair with her legs crossed.

Opposite her was Lancelot, the top knights amongst the Knights of the roundtable. Dressed in a golden armour, he gently rested his spear on the chair, his red hair falling behind him.

While sitting at the other side of the desk, watching the two, was Artoria Pendragon, her fist under her jaw.

The office itself was large enough to hold a lot of knight armour and several other weapons hung on the wall. Two chairs were positioned across each other, while Artoria's work table stood in front of them both.

"My King, if this is truly a problem, then I'd suggest we shut down the water supply before it spreads." Lancelot advised.

"That's going to cause an uprising amongst the people, once they realise this, panic begins to spread, we do not have any other water sources, I don't want my people starving." Artoria spoke.

"But Sire-!"

"I've sent in the mages of the castle to set up healing barriers upon each residence. That should reduce the effect of the plague in the water, at least until I am able to think of a solution." Artoria completed.

"I…see. A wise choice your majesty, but wouldn't the sorcerers be better used for purifying the waters rather than houses?" Lancelot asked.

"It has been done once, the water didn't stay clean for long. Whatever is infecting the water is very relentless. We have no choice but to use this method." Artoria said as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Well, I'm sure it will sort itself out. Camelot is well known for overcoming hardship." Merlin slowly stood up from the chair.

"Where are you going?" Artoria asked.

"I have a student I need to teach. Pardon me, but it's quite important." Merlin smiled at Artoria.

Artoria at first seemed like she understood what Merlin meant, but she immediately composed herself.

"I guess even Merlin has her responsibilities, do be quick, I do not like to be kept waiting." Artoria rested her back on the chair.

"As you wish, your majesty." Merlin chuckled a bit before walking out.

"I wanted to be the one doing that." Artoria muttered under her breath as she stared at the ceiling.

Lancelot on the other hand, sat there, completely lost and confused.

…..

In a quiet clearing within the forest, Ha Joon was hard at work. He had set up two sturdy branches to support his weight as he pushed himself up and down.

"50… 51… 52… 54!" he counted, his breath steady. Despite the strain, he felt stronger with each push-up.

[You have gained +1 Strength.]

[You have gained +1 Vitality.]

[You have gained +1 Strength.]

[You have gained +1 Strength.]

The system notifications popped up, confirming his progress.

Ha Joon smirked.

His stats were improving right before his eyes, and he didn't feel tired at all. His vitality was increasing, pushing his limits further with every rep.

Merlin arrived with a small puff of wind, landing gracefully atop a nearby rock.

She spun her broom playfully, a smile forming on her lips as she spotted Ha Joon.

"Hey, I'm here. Sorry I was… a bit late," she called out, her voice trailing off as she got a better look at him.

Ha Joon was shirtless, his muscles rippling with each movement. His broad shoulders and defined chest glistened with sweat, the outlines of a six-pack beginning to show.

Merlin felt her breath hitch, her usual composure wavering as she watched him.She wanted to touch it—feel the strength beneath his skin.

The thought of him holding her close made her heart race.

Perhaps the idea of him accidentally brushing against her chest didn't seem so troublesome after all.Merlin bit her lip, her mind wandering until—

"Oh, you're here, What took you so long?" Ha Joon uttered, now kneeling on the ground to catch his breath a bit.

"I- Eh.. t..ought…" Merlin instantly looked to the ground after stammering so much.

Using her broom, she played with her magic a bit, trying to regain her composure. A magic circle constructed at the end of her broom, and flames shot out gently, writing something in the air.

You don't have to worry, let's just get back to training.

Ha Joon chuckled nervously, "O-Okay".

Just as he wanted to stand up, Merlin wrote something again.

And put your clothes on, you pervert.
