Purification skill.

[I have successfully analyzed the water.]

'Good, so what did we get?'

[For starters, it's of no natural occurrence, magical properties have been injected into the water. Either a curse or perhaps creatures with a curse have affected the water's natural properties.]

'A curse, can you determine what kind of curse we are dealing with here?.'

[Negative]

[But I shall keep working on it.]

'I guess even you have your limits'.

Ha Joon looked behind him, the curiosity on Merlin and Artoria's face were boldly written.

He sighed.

"So uhm, here's the thing. From what I could tell after my observation and other stuff like that. This water has been cursed." Ha Joon revealed as he stood up.

"A curse? That's impossible, if there was indeed a curse, our mages would have sensed it before it was even casted." Artoria immediately spoke up.

"Yeah, and even if they didn't manage to do that, we have guards here 24/7, I doubt anyone could have walked in here." Merlin added.

Ha Joon was quiet for a while.

'Do they realize they have an evil maniacal being in the castle with them? This has Morgana written all over it, the illegitimate sister of Arthur Pendragon, evil and cunning as legend says it. Unless she's different here, come to think of it, I haven't seen her since I arrived.'

Ha Joon took a deep breather.

"Ah! Yes, weren't you at war two weeks ago or so. While the whole commotion was happening in the country, someone might have used that opportunity to do this.. in any case, there's a curse in the water, the problem is, how do we determine what kind of curse it is?" Ha Joon uttered.

Artoria looked to the side, "I have no issue trusting you. But I doubt the rest of the knights would have the same reaction, especially since we don't know the type of curse we are dealing with".

"Then we only tell them what we want them to know. There's a curse in the water, so we'll have to lay off it until Merlin is able to purify it." Ha Joon uttered, "That way, they know it's a work in progress, while I try to fix it".

"You want to fix it?" Merlin asked.

"Of course, you should have more faith in your students. Give me one night." Ha Joon replied boldly.

Both Artoria and Merlin stared at each other for a while.

Was it going to be the right choice to leave everything at the hands of the Traveler?.

Artoria smiled a bit, "Do whatever you must. I'll go address my subject." She left.

"Well, I'm curious to see how you plan to handle this one, …. Traveler." Merlin winked at him before walking away.

'Sorry to tell you guys, but my motivation isn't coming from any place or honesty. If I succeed, hehe, I'm sure Merlin would want to do more freaky freaky, and I'll be damned if I don't get busy busy'.

//Ha Joon Kim's Room//

Ha Joon was seated on his chair, his phone gently balanced on the table.

On the screen -

Purification of waters.

Ha Joon has been researching knowledge about the purifications of water and how such a technique would work, all so he could acquire the right rank of purification skill.

'This is surprisingly easier than I expected. Makes one wonder why this country doesn't have a Nun, or father. Appenrely, they are the only ones with divine blessings, hence they can use purification.' Ha Joon uttered inward as he continued to read.

'Uhmm, Merlin did say the mages tried everything they could, must be a powerful curse, in that case, Purification is the best route to take.'

[You have gained a new skill.]

[Purification (Expert)]

[Purification helps you cleanse physical, spiritual and environmental impurities like toxins, cruses and dark energy.]

'Sweet, about damn time, I've been here for more than thirty minutes. This skill should be enough to purify the water, correct?'.

[Being on an Expert level greatly increases the success rate.]

'Uhmm, come to think about it, I don't know much about the levels and shit, go on, don't be shy, lay it on me.' Ha Joon rested his back on the chair.

[As you wish.]

[The levels at which your skills operate are as follows: Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, Master, Grand master, Demi God, and God.]

'Uhn? So I only had to Expert? I don't think any of my skills have gotten past there. What the hell system, you were gatekeeping all these?'.

[You never requested a thorough evaluation.]

'Sound like my mom anytime she takes my money and never gives it back. Tch! Thoroughly bring out my stats'.

Ha Joon stared at the template. Looking at it, he could tell there were some skills he hadn't dreamed of touching.

Other than that, some of his skills had gotten past Expert rank and are already in Master- a good step forward in his eyes.

'Okay, I'm satisfied. Eh? But these NPC skills still in Novice rank tho, remind me what the Icon tag does again?'.

[Identifies objects with a tag. Suitable for finding something that has been missing.]

'Ahh, so like in games.' Ha Joon placed his hand under his jaw, 'That can actually be very useful in the future, and I'm guessing Night vision is for seeing at night?'.

[Yes.]

[But with further ranking, it could be used for reading heat signatures.]

'Eh? What on earth would I need that for if I have the icon tag skill already?' Ha Joon looked a bit deadpanish.

[You can use that a means of spying on your enemies, in a way, you can see through walls, and that can be-]

'Did you just say… see through walls?' Ha Joon paused.

[I did.]

A smile showed on Ha Joon's face.

'You should have said that earlier'.
