After a week of festival that is held in the Central Plaza, the competition for acquiring a knight for me has finally started.
First of all, I am nervous for Ziel. He really joined and when I asked my Dad to talk him out of it, Daddy only said, "He wants it, let him do what he wants. This will be a new experience for him". Well, he's kinda right--but the guy is only 11!
Eleven!
I already accepted the fact that this is my reality, but there are still unbelievable things that only happens in fictional stories!
An eleven years old joining a competition where his opponents are decades older than him! Goodness gracious...
"What's with that face?" Of course, Asher had to be here. He's only visible to me though, so I can't talk to him personally.
"Beauty," I answered, and that made him scoff. I wanna smack his face.
"You look like you're about to shit,"
I closed my eyes and tried to calm my nerves. Two years, and it's still the same Asher. What should I do with this attitude of his? Well, it's not like I can change a person---I did changed my family, but not this arrogant incarnation of Creo.
I ignored his words and focused on the knights in front of us. I have to make a speech before we take our seat. I don't even know why I have to!
"Are you nervous?" He asked. I don't know if I am nervous or excited actually. But I'm worried about Ziel. This competition is not going to be easy because it's gonna go on for three days.
"Nope, but I'm worried about Ziel. His opponents are more experienced than him," I replied. It's been days since I last saw Ziel and I wasn't able to give him any wishes or whatsoever. He's in the front of their line right now, but it's not a good idea to just go there and cheer him up.
"And? He wanted that. If he died here, it's his wish, plus...there's really nothing to worry about that guy," the heck is this guy saying? How did he ended up thinking that Ziel might die here? I want to role my eyes but I have to keep smiling in front of these knights.
"Your attitude sucks," I replied.
I turned to Ziel and he's also looking at me. He smiled and bowed his head slightly. I waved my hand to him and I can see lots of people suddenly turning their heads to him.
"Tsk, he looks confident about this. What is there to worry about?" He does not understand my worries, so he better just shut up. Goodness, really?
"Now, let's hear a word from Her Highness, The First Princess," Hah...the baby needs to speak again.
A loud cheer can be heard from the audience when the microphone was passed to me. I smiled and waved my hands on the audience which cause an ever more louder cheers.
I placed the microphone in front of my lips and clear my throat.
"Please, be quiet," I said with a cute voice, and that was enough to make the crowd silent. Wow, the power that this girl holds...
"Thank you so much. I greet everyone who attended this competition, and of course the candidates..." I held both sides of my dress as I bow properly to the audience and the candidates.
"To be honest, I am quite nervous about the competition because of the challenges...but, please do you best! And please enjoy! And don't get hurt!"
As a kid, I shouldn't take my time saying things that an immature kid won't even think about.
Everyone clapped their hands, even the knights!
I turned my head to Dad and he smiled at me as he place his hand on my shoulder. Dad looks really handsome.
"Just like my daughter said, enjoy," Dad's voice sounded so serious when he said those. I don't know if that's genuine or what.
"Your third brother's picking a fight with the lime," with the lime?
I looked at Brother Dae and saw him glaring hard to...
Ziel?! And the latter's just smiling at him! But, boy...his smile looks like he's annoying brother Dae even more.
"Brother Dae, are you mad about something?" I asked, which made him turn to me. Suddenly, his 'death glare' turned into a 'soft gaze' as he look back at me. He's even smiling as if he wasn't cursing on Ziel just a few seconds ago!
"No, Ali. I'm extremely happy to finally have someone by Ali's side to protect her..."
"Though Ali didn't really need it since she have the Astra with her..." He tried to whisper that as he look back at Ziel with annoyed face.
Goodness, it seems like he's so sure that Ziel is going to win this. What's going on between these two, really? Uhm...should I ship the--no! What the heck are you saying, Alina, they are kids!
"He's right," Asher replied. I prevented myself from rolling my eyes because of these two. I think my third brother and this Astra here would get along really well if they are not rude to each other.
"I thought you hate the idea of babysitting me?" I asked.
"You're right,"
His mind is more complicated than his personality.
"But I never said I don't like doing it. I just hate the idea,"
...
The freak is this guy saying? I knew it, he has a complex mind. That's so annoying.
"Who wouldn't want being a freeloader, right?" So that's his goal. To be a freeloader.
"Right...oh, by the way, I wanna ask about the white holy flower,", I said to him.
"Let this competition begin!" My dad yelled as the huge gong rang. I was a bit startled and my family noticed.
Brother Aeli chuckled.
"Are you alright, Ali?" He asked. I smiled widely and nod my head while giggling. It's not really a big deal, and I wasn't affected by it.
But, why is the Astra not answering my question?
"Maybe we should cut the hand of that gong guy," Brother Heli spoke--I choked from my own saliva and cough for a few times!
The hell!?
The Crown Prince shouldn't be thinking things like that!
"Hahahaha...you're funny, Brother Heli" I said, forcing a laugh. Brother Heli chuckled and stared at me smiling. I blinked for a couple of times and giggled at him.
He's not saying anything...
"Y-you're joking, right...?" I asked.
But he just stayed there, smiling!
"Brother Aeli..." I turned to my second brother with a worried voice and face. He chuckled and looked at Brother Heli.
"You could've done that without letting Ali know," that's not what I want to hear!
"Pfft...your brothers are so funny," The Astra should just stay quiet if he decided to!
"Right, Big Bro,"
No!
"N-nooo..." I whined. The three of them turned to me and laughs.
What now?!
"We're just kidding, Ali. Of course we won't do that," Brother Aeli spoke patting my head. I felt like a huge thorn in my throat has been released.
Oh my goodness...they really shouldn't joke with me like that. With the reputation of this family, I would believe their words right away!
"Stop teasing your sister, let's go to our seats," Dad said, offering his hand to me. That's right, they really should not talk like that in front of me.
I'm a kid, for goodness' sake!
"It was a good idea though," I glared at Asher and he just turned his head away from me, whistling. This guy is a no-hope.
"Ali, are you alright?" I nod my jead immediately when Brother Heli asked me that question. I forgot Asher is in invisible mode.
"Did the Astra said something to you?" Ohh...they knew Asher's here?
"Uhh...no, brother," I replied. Really, Asher's gonna get along well with them if he just show himself to them.
Goodness, gracious...
***
The first round is a team challenge. They were sent to a forest with their team. But the team was not chosen by them, it was randomly picked. And they were only formed when they were transported to a forest, so they were not aware who their teammates are until they were sent to the forest.
The challenge is about looking for a base. Once they found a base for themseleves, they will plant a wooden sword there. All they have to do is to look for the other teams' base, take out the sword that is planted on their base and use it to tap the opponents. My Dad said it doesn't matter if they hit the opponent as long as it touches them.
Ziel's team seems...reliable enough for him.
Uh, two of them is actually a noble as well. One has a navy blue hair and cobalt blue eyes. He seems cold and serious. The other one has a hazel brown hair with emerald eyes, he looks energetic and motivated. They look older than Ziel, and the energetic one always talks to Ziel. The kid just smile at him, nod, and say something. The cold big brother just looks at the energetic big brother and shook his head in disbelief.
"You're so focused on a particular team," Asher said. I ignored him and count the members of Ziel's team. There are six members.
"The dark-haired guy is from the Eunier County. He's the second son and has been a knight for three years. The other one is from a Baron's House. The House of Druine, the third and youngest son of the Head and an illegitimate child," Hmm? He's an illegitimate child?
"Your reaction just changed. But well yeah, he's an illegitimate child," I creased my forehead and turned to Asher. Is he reading my mind?
"I'm not reading your mind I'm reading your face," Ahh, seriously...
"How's his relationship with his family?" I asked. Because in this world, an illegitimate child is a big deal and is considered as a trouble or problem for the family. Exactly why Alina's fate in the novel ended up like that.
"Hmm, it's good. His family had no son, there are only two daughters, so when he arrived, he was welcomed by his half sisters. His step-mother hated it at first, but took pity on the child who had no family and was abandoned by his mother when he was born, so she couldn't hate him for long," Oohhh...
They were never in the book. But, welp...this never happened in the book as well. And I already accepted that my fate here is different from the fate of Alina in the book. That's why I can't tell what's going to happen in the future.
Come to think of it Asher haven't explained anything about the book yet. He knew about it but didn't tell me more.
Now, I am not fully sure if Amara is going to appear on the same day she was introduced in the novel. There are a lot of changes as well, and unfamiliar people.
Oh, they are starting.
"Who do you think will win?" Asher asked, looking at the holograms that are projecting the knights who are now looking for their base.
"I have no clue. But I wish Ziel's team win," I replied. I admit this is me being bias, but, I hope Ziel win. That way, we'll have more time with each other and I can get him on my side!
"Hmm, should we make a bet?" Huh? The heck is he saying? A bet?
"Is that alright? Won't it disrespect the knights?" I asked.
As we talk to each other, several teams have already found their base, and Ziel's team was one of those. They found a secluded cave and decided to use it as their base, one of his teammates planted the wooden sword at the deadend of the cave as they start coversing with each other We have no idea what they are talking about, but it seems like they are planning on how to catch their opponents off guard. Ziel and the blue-haired big brother were the ones talking while the others are just nodding their heads, the hazel-haired guy also talks for a few moments, it seems like he's only suggesting something.
"Why would it be disrespectful?" Asher asked, and I prevented myself from sighing. A lot of people does bet on something like this, but I don't wanna do it...it's a pain in the ass.
"So, who do you think will win?" I asked.
This is also a good way for me not to get broed or sleepy.
Specially, in this time of the day. I usually sleep during this time and now my drowsiness is starting to visit me.
"That group with red wooden sword," Group with red wooden sword...
I looked at all the monitors and found the red sword he's saying. Ohhh--eh!? Brother Caelus!? Why is he there!?
"What--Dad! Brother Caelus joined?" I turned to my Father and he smiled at me while nodding.
"That's right. He said joining this competition will gain him huge fame from the Central Empire," Oh...so his only goal is fame? Seriously? For what? Isn't he famous already for being a son of the Duke? Eh?
"Fame, seriously?" Brother Dae asked with his forehead creased and a smirk on his lips.
"Pretty sure it's fame among the ladies," Brother Aeli added. I prevented myself from chuckling because of how they reacted on Brother Caelus joining the competition.
"But, Asher. Why do you think they'll win? Is Brother Caelus that strong?" I asked. However, he stayed quiet, so I turned to look at him only to see him glaring hard to the hologram projector screen. What's with him?
"Asher?" I called, and it seems like he finally came back to reality.
"Hmm, well...there's an impostor after all," Huh? Impostor? What is he talking about?
"Impostor? Are you referring to Brother Caelus?" Does he not get along with Brother Caelus as well?
"Huh? No," okay, that's good to hear.
"Then, what are you talking about? Impostor?" I asked again, because I'm really confused.
"Nothing. By the way, I gotta go first. There's something I need to do," And then he disappeared right after he said those. Eh? What's with him?

THIRD PERSON
Asher teleported to certain area within the forest where the knights are sent. He roamed his eyes around to see if the person he's looking for is there.
'The jerk really had the audacity to join the competition...'
Asher thought. He made sure to make himself invisible from the eyes of ordinary people to not cause any unnecessary rumors.
"Pretty sure he's trying to target the Duke's kid. He definitely thought he have a huge chance of entering that guy's body," Asher spoke as he starts walking.
He went to the area where Caelus' team had planted their wooden sword. They decided to hide in an area that is close to the set boundary. His team thought that if they are close to the boundary, the other teams won't be able to find them.
Asher activated his stella vision and saw several shoe prints on the ground. There are differences when it comes to the sizes of the shoes, as well as the mana particles that are floating above those prints. Asher smirked and look straight ahead.
'It wasn't really hard to track him since I can sense him far from here...'
"Is he already trying to do a ritual or what? I can sense the foreboding darkness..." Asher shook his head and sigh as he dissappear from the area where he was standing.
A red-haired guy with black eyes sits in front of the wooden sword. He turn his head to the sky and grin.
'It's not difficult to possess that kid, but it won't be easy either...he's full of doubts to his teammates despite showing a positive attitude...'
The guy thought.
"But, it won't be long...haha..." He mumbled.
'I'll get that body and take a revenge on you, Orpheus---you damn piece of trash who didn't even know how to be grateful for the thing I gave you...and those shitty magicians who got in my way!'
He gritted his teeth as he glare on the ground. His eyes glint fiery red as he clenched his fist.
He sighed and stared at his hand.
'This body is weak. Absolute trash. That's why I need to have a more compatible body for me. Lucky that Verena, she got a body compatible to her...'
He clicked his tongue and stood up.
"I will surely get that guy's body--"
"Wow, you look worn out," The red-haired guy's eyes turned bloody red after hearing a familiar voice behind him.
"What's with that body? A body of a slave?" The blonde-haired magician crossed his arms and lean on the tree near him.
"Asher Astra," The red-gaired guy muttered with his jaw clenched tightly.
"Oh, you know me? Well, of course, I'm famous after all, haha...why don't you introduce youself?" Asher asked, smirking at the guy in front of him.
"Hmm, Carlix Florian from House Baron--pfft---really, a baron?" Asher scoffed, causing the guy to glare hard at him.
"Hey, no matter how hard you glare at me, I won't turn to stone, you know that, right?" The guy he called Carlix stayed quiet while clenching his fist. Asher smirked.
"How did you know I am possessing this kid's body?" Carlix asked, which immediately caused Asher to chuckle, and it turn to a loud laughter. His laughs seems to be telling Carlix that his question was stupid.
"Who do you think I am?" Asher asked, covering his mouth while looking at Carlix with condemn in his eyes.
"But...well, I won't kill you right now because I refuse to make my princess sad on her birthday celebration. I just wanted to see how you were doing, aren't I a kind enemy?" Asher ran his fingers through his head and smiled.
Carlix stayed quiet.
'Is that really the reason for coming here? I don't think so...what did he do?' Carlix asked to himself.
"No need to look at me like that, I really just want to visit you," Asher spoke, he then waved his hand to Carlix as he smile, suddenly vanishing from his sight.
He appeared out of the blue beside Alina who's focused on watching the competition and didn't noticed Asher coming back. The magician stared at her for a while and turned his head to the hologram where Alina is staring at.
Asher's smile disappear and he clicked his tongue, hearing that, Alina finally noticed him.
'I shouldn't have put a barrier blessing to that lime,' Asher thought, seriously looking at Kafziel on the hologram.
"Oh, Asher! You're back!" Alina said using telepathy. Asher look back to Alina and stared at her.
'But if that guy is hurt, this girl will definitely cry. That's the last thing I want to see...' He thought. Alina tilt her head and creased her forehead.
"Why are you looking at me like that? And it looks like you're not in the mood. Did someone annoyed you?" Alina asked, she cocked her brow as she stare back at Asher.
"Yeah, you,"
"I shouldn't have asked," Alina rolled her eyes and looked at Kafziel again, who is now having the upperhand against their opponents.
- ALINA -
I'm really nervous, I'm so worried for Ziel. Still, how is he fighting that well!? He already knocked out several opponents! The rule was to only tap the opponents with their wooden sword, so why are they knocking down each other!?
Oh my goodness, now I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Is it really necessary to have a knight when I already have Asher with me? He's literally an incarnation of a God! Who can hurt me if someone like that is guarding me?
"It seems like this part of competition is coming to an end," Asher spoke. I nod my head and watch eveyone fight their hearts out for the position of being my personal knight.
Each teams only need one wooden sword from their enemy, and Ziel's team already got...two. The serious big brother was left behind to watch over their sword and he single-handedly knocked out everyone who tried to steal their sword.
Brother Caelus' team---unfortunely didn't get a sword, however they managed to keep their sword to their team, so they'll be able to pass this round.
"Hm, the lime is not bad,"
"Don't call him lime, his name is Kafziel," I spoke, getting attentions from my family. I covered my mouth and looked at them innocently.
I forgot to talk telepathically!
"I-I'm sorry, Dad, Big Brothers, I was talking to Asher..." I explained. I heared Asher laughing, and I really want to punch his mouth so he won't be able to laugh like that again.
"Did he insulted you?" Brother Dae asked, I shook my head right away.
"That's not it, Brother Dae! It's just he kept calling Ziel, 'lime', so I told him that he has a name..." Brother Dae blinked for a couple of times and covered his mouth, trying not to laugh.
"Lime...what a good nickname. Alright, I'll use that too," Oh dear brother...
"Hahahahaha! Your third brother is so funny,"
"Do you want to feel my fist connected to your mouth?"
I asked. He slowly stopped laughing and take a deep breath.
"I'd like to see you try, Princess," If we're not here, I'll really try it. Or maybe I should do that when he's sleeping peacefully on the couch of my room?
"Now! The knights who will enter the second round are finally decided! Green team, with Kafziel Laverde, Bleu Eunier, Timothy Druine, Yunan Freb, Alassi Helmure, Xyren Harvez! On the Blue team!...",
The emcee continued announcing, and I felt happy to see Ziel and Brother Caelus both advancing to the second round.
"Now, the first round is wrapped up. Those who failed the first round, thank you for your efforts during the first round, and we appreciate your willingness to join the competition to be our First Princess' knight. You deserve an applause from our people!" The emcee clapped his hand which made the crowd do the same.
I smiled when I saw the knights walking away with a big smiles on their faces, waving to the crowd. It seems like even though they lost, they enjoyed the competition. They're amazing.
"The first day of the competition is finally done. How was it, Ali?" Brother Heli asked, looking at me. His question made my other family members to look at me and wait for my answer.
"I really enjoyed it, Brother Heli! I felt nervous and excited and mix of happiness and sadness! However...I feel drowsy now," I replied, scratching the back of my head. My brothers and father smiled at me and nod their heads.
"We shall go home after a few words with the knights, is that alright?" Dad asked, of course I nodded my head because I can't do anything about that.
After the emcee announced the time and schedule for the second round tomorrow, he gave us the mic to let us speak. Dad spoke first and then Brother Heli, then Brother Aeli, and my third brother.
Brother Dae really had yo end that speech with his attitude.
Anyways, it's my turn.
"Thank you for joining the competition and thank you for giving us your best efforts! I'm in awe watching everyone fight as if their lives depend on it! Thank you, everyone! You are all amazing!" I said, waving my hands to them. The crowd yelled happily as they cheer my name. I smiled and bow at them.
"Please be careful on your way back home!" I added, waving goodbye to them. I handed the mic to Daddy again and he was the one who ended today's round of competition.
Tomorrow is another day, I hope the knights gets a well rested night tonight.

"In the name of ****, I hereby declare ***** and ****** to be banished from the *****"
"They really were banished!"
"And it looks like ***** is going to put a curse on **** as well..."
"How about *****?"
"It looks like he'll be cursed too,"
"Pitiful...."
I can hear several voice, but they are unfamiliar. I want to see where I am but I can't see anything. Am I asleep? Am I dreaming? Or is this another nightmare? What curse? I can't seem to understand what everyone is talking about. I can't even figure out what that announcement was about. Who's going to curse who? And how come my heart hurts? My heart feels like it's being torn apart...
"It's alright...I'll always be with you wherever you are. I promise you, *****"
That voice...it sounds familiar yet stranger to my ears. It sounds really kind and nice. I can feel the warmth just by listening to his voice. Who was he?
I don't know. My heart aches so bad that I feel like crying. It felt like I lost someone really precious to me...it hurts...
"Your Highness?" I slowly opened my eyes when I heard Asher's voice. He's standing beside my bed and he looks at me worriedly
"Asher..." I mumbled.
He stared at me with his forehead creased, and his eyes serious
"You're crying in your sleep again, what is it this time? Your mana was fluctuating," He asked, wiping the tears that escaped my eyes while I was asleep. Sometimes, Asher can be a sweet guy.
But, why am I crying again? I don't think I had a nightmare.
"Did you dream of something nasty again?" Asher asked. I shook my head and tried to recall my dream, but I really can't remember it. However, I do feel sad, I feel like I experienced a heart breaking moment just now.
What was the reason...?
"Then why are you crying in your sleep again?" Asher asked. His voice sounded so nice and soft. Really, this is the only time when he's nice, everytime something happens to me.
"I don't know...I can't remember my dream," I replied. That's so strange, I'm crying in my sleep but I can't remember my dream at all. Even one single part of it.
"Hmm, it's fine. I'm always here so go back to your sleep, it's still early," he spoke reassuring me that he's always there by my side so I did not need to worry.
I nod my head and smiled at him.
"Thanks, Asher...goodnight," I answered, but he didn't give me a response, so I just closed my eyes agaain and decided to go back to sleep.
***
This time, the challenge is to defeat monsters within the given time. The time is limited of course, and each monsters gives certain amount of points. The largest one, which is a literal dinosaur with three heads gives 500 points.
The Forbidden Forest named Aethereia Forest is known to be the most dangerous area within the whole empire. I don't know why they used this place but...everyone agreed when Brother Aeli suggested this forest for the second challenge. I tried to interfere but they mentioned that being a knight to the Imperial Princess should be able to protect her with all their lives, and if they can't kill any monsters within the forest, they are not qualified to be my knight. Said by a Viscount. I'm pretty sure he just wanted to make an image in my mind, but my thoughts were like 'Why don't you go there yourself, you piece of shit'.
Tsk.
But, I trust Ziel. And I trust Asher too, who's been sent to the forest to protect the knights. Dad said he'll increase his allowance if he do it, so he accepted it without hesitation.
"Are you nervous, Ali?" Brother Aeli asked. I stared at him for a moment and pouts.
"Of course, and it's because of you for suggesting that place," I replied with my forehead creased and upset expression.
"Even when upset, Ali looks really adorable," Brother Aeli said smiling at me. Look at him smiling as if he didn't do something so dangerous...
"Just hope no one won't be in danger out there Brother, because I will get mad at you, really!" I spoke as I cross my arms. He chuckled and pinched my cheeks.
"If they die out there, it's their fault for being weak," Brother Dae joined the conversation and that'd the first thing that comes out from his mouth.
"That's so mean, brother! As an Imperial Prince, you shouldn't say things like that to your people," I replied, glaring at him. He closed his eyes and pressed his lips together as he nod his head.
"Understood, I was wrong, Ali," well, at least he's quick to accept his mistake and apologized right away.
"Apology accepted!" I giggled and smiled at him, but I changed my expression right away when I looked at Brother Aeli.
"Hmph..." I heard him chuckled.
"Aww, my little princess is mad at me?" He asked, but I did not answer him and just looked away from him.
"I'm sorry, Ali. But I don't think it's necessary to worry about it when the Astra is with them, right?" Not a valid reason, Sir.
"Brother Aeli should refrain talking to me when I'm upset," I replied, which made my family laughs at me.
"Alright, little princess. I should let my sister calm down first before I talk to her," Right!
And after a few conversation, the round finally started. This round is a lot more dangerous on the first one yesterday because their enemies are monsters, creatures that are not capable of thinking deeply to be able to discern good and bad! That's why instead of knocking down, they decided to have the knights 'kill' them.
A lot of older knights are killing monsters easily while some of them had a hard time defeating larger monsters. However, Ziel was able to defeat a lot of monsters! How the heck!? And he's using both his magic and sword too, he's fighting them so skillfully! In the novel, he didn't really improved his magic! But now he's using it properly!
Woah--his points are only getting higher and higher...
"Heh, of course...these small monsters will be nothing to you..." I heard Brother Dae mumbled. What do you mean 'small' monsters!? He's only hunting dino's with many heads! What's with him?! Is that normal for a freaking eleven years old!?
Well...this brother of mine was already a War MVP in his one digit age era...
However it's understandable because he's a royalty, but Ziel...? How?! What did they feed him back in Elda!? Dang, I don't even know how to react right now.
"See? I told you, worrying about him is unnecessary," I looked at Brother Aeli and he's watching Ziel carefully, he's even smiling as if he is so proud of him! I turned to Dad and he's smirking as well---that smirk looks like a proud father to his son. That's not your son, Dad...
When I looked at Brother Heli, he's just there leaning on his palm while watching the knights boringly.
Even though a lot of knights had already withdraw with the help of Asher, there are still people left in there. Brother Caelus is gracefully defeating enemies as well.
There are three people leading the ranking of who has the highest points. The first one is named Carlix Florian, which is strange because he came from a house of Baron yet he's leading the rank...? The second one is Brother Caelus, and then Ziel.
"Carlix Florian? For Caelus and Kafziel to lose against a Baron's child..." Brother Heli spoke. He watched the guy with red hair as he effortlessly defeat the monsters that are coming his way.
"The Astra can deal with that," Dad spoke, and his eyes are glowing...he's using allure vision? Why?
And I noticed too that my three brothers activated it as well and their expressions became serious. Why? What's with that Carlix Florian? Tch, if only I can activate my allure vision now...
"Maybe we should check the family as well," Brother Heli replied and my brothers and Dad just nod their head to agree with him, and with that my first brother disappeared.
"Ehh? What's wrong, Dad?" Daddy deactivated his allure vision and smiled at me, he placed his hand on top of my head before he replied.
"It's nothing, Ali. Just watch them and pray for their safety," Dad answered. That's really suspicious...
Whoever that Carlix is, and whatever he did wrong, he's going to face my family's wrath.
As we watch the knights fight with the monsters, we saw Sir Carlix Florian resting under a tree. He's being shown as he rest. Looks like he's already confident that he'll place first in this round. Look at him resting well...
However, he suddenly opened his eyes and it's as if he saw something frightening that his expression changed, however it went back to normal again as he smirk. What is he seeing...? Obviously it's Asher.
The two of them spoke, but it only looked like Carlix was talking to himself.
And then a few moments later, he glared at Asher as he stood up. He raised his hand towards the unknown creature--I mean, the God's incarnation that is invisible to our eyes. Then suddenly a burst of fire comes our from his hand, however before it reach a certain invisible person, it suddenly disappeared, which also shocked Sir Carlix himself.
I'm really curious what Asher is saying right now. He's probably boasting about his power.
Sir Carlix once again attacked, but his magic was dispelled right away.
He tried many times to attack, but it seems like his power is not working at all. The audience have become worried and suspicious of him.
"Well, maybe he consumed something to make himself powerful and now the effect is gone?"
"I mean, he's only a son of a Baron, how can he top the Northern Duke's son and Count Laverde's son who is known to be the Third Prince's former sparring partner?"
"Right? That's really suspicious,"
"And the Baron looks so proud,"
"I swear, they did something behind the scenes!"
Wait, what caught my attention is Ziel being my brother sparring partner before!? What!?
I did not know that! Even Ziel didn't say anything like that!
My eyes widened when I saw a dino with strange heads heading to Sir Carlix's direction! His eyes full of surprise and...oh, he looks nervous...? No, scared? Uhm no, angry? Wow, I can't describe his facial expression!
However, before the strange dino attack him, it died on its own! And the points was not added to Sir Carlix's points, so it wasn't him who killed it!
Obviously, it's Asher.
Brother Caelus and Ziel have surpassed Sir Carlix now! Dang it, what were they doing to be able to surpass his points in just a few minutes?
Sir Carlix glared intently at Asher and was about to run towards him, but all of a sudden he fell on the ground--and now he's unconscious without any reason.
Well, for people watching, there was no other reason for him to just fall down there and become unconscious, they're suspecting him of using an illegal potion or something to make himself strong. Not knowing it was Asher who made him like that. I have no idea why they're targeting that guy though...did he really took a suspicious potion?
Well...Daddy said it's nothing, so I should just mind my own business and stop being nosy. Hmm...Asher will tell me about it anyways, so I should just wait for him.
