Jay walked upstairs and went to the familiar door where the pheromones he always desire are the thickest.
He did not hesitate to open the door and enter, his chocolate brown eyes scanning around until it stopped on the figure atop the bed, covered in a soft gray blanket.
Quinn was sleeping. Sleeping with someone else, not his mates, in his arms.
Jay's nerve became taunt, anger rising within him.
In their pack, they have some rules to follow. And one of it is not allowing any strangers to sleep in their rooms, especially their beds. Any guides brought to the dorm should be sent out after doing their duty. They are not allowed to stay for a sleep.
'They don't have that right.'
Quinn's move to bring a stranger inside the dorm was forgivable, as they do that for guiding, but letting them sleep on his bed even after a guiding is not.
Rowen, who followed behind Jay, looked at the bed with a strange glimmer in his eyes.
"Quinn." Jay spoke his mate's name with a deep raspy voice, his usual sweetness while calling Quinn's name was nowhere to be found.
Jay's energy started to move, evident of his anger is the energy around him becoming increasingly violent, along with his pheromones.
"Quinn don't have the guts to bring a stranger in and let them sleep here, so calm down, Jay." Zed spoke and walked inside the room, Calix curiously following behind him.
With authority dripping down his voice along with his stern tone, Zed suppressed Jay with his pheromones.
An alpha has an excellent physique, and such would have a corresponding strength of pheromones in their body. An alpha who is also an SSS-class Esper would have a natural suppression to those who were lower than their class, pheromones or Esper energies alike.
Zed forcibly suppressed Jay's pheromones, leading the latter to glare at the rousing figure on the bed.
"Hmm? You're all here?" Quinn's voice gave a deep, velvety rumble, still husky from sleep, carrying a warmth that made each word feel unhurried and intimate.
There was a rich, lazy depth to it, as if the restfulness of his nap lingered in his tone, wrapping his words in a soothing, almost mesmerizing cadence.
Quinn looked so nonchalant while breaking a pack rule that Jay was irked at the attitude of his usually sweet mate.
"Quinn, care to explain? Jay here is about to explode." Calix soothingly patted Jay's back, looking at the alpha's hazel eyes with narrowed eyes.
"I have a very valid excuse here." Quinn glanced at the sleeping woman on his arms, not releasing her despite his mates staring daggers at him.
"Better say it now or we'll have no choice but to punish you for breaking a rule." Zed folded his arms in front of him and leaned on the wall leisurely, watching Quinn's smug face.
"You'll understand with a very simple clue." Quinn smirked and gently released the woman hiding in his arms and slowly sat up, unblocking his mates view of the woman.
Then, with a mischievous grin, he winked at the irked Jay.
"Let me guess. This is the..." Rowen came near the foot of the bed, intently studying the woman's face.
"What? Who? Can the two of you stop being dramatically mysterious?" Calix rolled his eyes at Rowen's prolonged words, annoyed at the riddles the two men are saying.
"Our roommate." Zed realized something the moment he observed Quinn's overly calm and stable Esper energy and came near the bed, staring at the woman's face with intrigue.
"Bingo!" Quinn blew a kiss at Zed before gesturing to Jay to also come near.
"Wait! It's our mystery SSS-class Guide?" Calix excitedly pushed Rowen out of his way to stare at the woman's frowning face.
"Still doesn't explain why she was deeply sleeping by your side." Jay grumpily inched closer to Quinn, pinching his fair and blushing cheeks.
"Truthfully, I saw her sleeping on the sofa and decided to kidnapped her to my room." Quinn playfully stuck out his tongue.
Noticing his mate's unstable condition, Quinn grabbed the hand pinching his cheek before pulling it to touch the expose arm of the sleeping woman.
Jay's irritable mood visibly change to become relieved, and his mates were able to see his expression change from annoyance to soothed. It happened within a few seconds he touched the woman's arm.
Rowen watched the interaction with interest and amusement.
"Jay, you okay?" Calix, the closest to Jay, was the first one to ask.
"... I'm not blaming Quinn any more." Jay then sat on the bed, just beside Quinn, his hand not letting go of the soft skin under his palm.
His fingers softly grazed the woman's cold skin.
Jay felt it. Deeply. His energy that was rampaging and consuming his sanity stopped the moment he touched the Guide's skin. It was as if someone pushed the pause button on his violent energy, it halted in rampaging and slowly receded.
"Feels good, right?" Quinn leaned on his mate's arm in a good mood.
Seeing Quinn's relaxed face and feeling the joviel mood both him and Jay were releasing in the pack bond, Calix can't help but sat down opposite the two and poke the free arm of the guide.
Then, Calix's curiosity turned to delight, he kind of wish he could plaster himself to the sleeping woman to cool down the creeping pain all over his body.

Yanah groaned, feeling a bit suffocated. Her nose picked out a lot of dense scents.
There was a hint of salty sea air mixed with soft floral like lily and a whisper of cool eucalyptus, invigorating and refreshing near her, mixed with a scent of cool morning dew, with delicate notes of white tea.
Another fragrance in the air opened with vibrant, zesty notes of citrus like bergamot, layered over a deeper base of amber.
Then, a rich, sweet, and deeply floral, with a soft and velvety quality that is intense and intoxicating covered her nose. It carries a hint of green freshness, like the scent of the petals themselves, mixed with subtle, honeyed undertones.
'Rose...?'
If Yanah had smell these good scents one at a time, she could have appreciate it, but with all the scents being so dense and mixed together, she could only express her discontent by slowly waking up.
"Just what...???!" When Yanah slowly opened her eyes, it blankly met with beautiful five pair of eyes.
"Hi, precious treasure~ Did you sleep well?" A voice so pleasant to her ears, resounded and completely woke the groggy Yanah up.
Waking up and finding a lot of beauties smiling in flattery around your bed must feel like a dream, and Yanah could have feel that, but no, she only felt strange.
Because all this handsome men are... Either clasping her fingers or caressing her arms, with a weird expression of contentment in their faces.
Yanah's first impression of these strangers plummeted to the ground. And it could have been her dormmates.
