Yalen adopts an Alien.

Haiki's eyes narrowed as she gently tugged on Seth's sleeves. She was looking at him innocently. "So is this your friend…he looks like someone I know"

There was a hint of annoyance at the end of her voice, Jake's face reminded her of Axel, if it wasn't for the eye color she would have thought it was him.

"Well no he is just a Dorm mate" Seth answered. He does not know why Jake is here. But he is thankful that he came at the right time.

"That's nice, My Dorm mate was a little rude, so I had to make sure she wasn't," She said smiling, Seth did not find anything cute about it.

"So why don't you start teaching me common sense, Setth" Seth felt a shiver run down his spine at Haiki's request. The way she asked it—so innocent, yet carrying an undertone that made him feel like he was being lured into a trap—was unsettling. He glanced at Jake, who was standing there, clearly out of his depth, shifting nervously as if sensing the strange tension between Seth and Haiki.

"Common sense, huh?" Seth echoed, trying to keep his voice steady. "Well, it's something that comes naturally… over time." He glanced back at Haiki, trying to gauge her intentions. Was she genuinely asking for help?

Haiku tilted her head slightly, her yellow eyes gleaming with a mixture of curiosity and something more predatory. "But I'm in a rush, Seth. You wouldn't want me to embarrass myself, would you?" Her smile widened, though it never quite reached her eyes.

"No, I would not" Seth's voice was steady, but he could feel the pressure mounting. He knew that refusing Haiki wasn't an option, and any attempt to navigate this situation would need to be done carefully.

"Alright," Seth said, forcing a calm demeanor. "Let's start with the basics then."

Haiki's smile softened, though the predatory glint in her eyes remained. "Perfect. I'm all ears."

Seth took a deep breath, trying to recall what he knew about social interactions and common sense. "So, common sense is about understanding and reacting appropriately to social cues. It involves interpreting people's emotions, body language, and the context of a situation."

Haiku nodded, though her expression remained unreadable. "And how do you determine what's appropriate in different situations?" she asked, her voice sweet but carrying a sharp edge.

"Well," Seth began, "you observe how people are reacting and adjust your behavior accordingly. For example, if someone looks upset, you might approach them with a more sensitive attitude rather than being overly cheerful."

Haiku tilted her head, clearly interested but also challenged. "And what if someone's feelings are not obvious? How do you handle that?"

Seth hesitated. This was a trickier question. "In those cases, you might need to ask more direct questions or be more intuitive. It's about being perceptive and paying attention to subtle signs."

Haiki's smile grew slightly. "Subtle signs, you say? Like how you're currently feeling a bit uncomfortable?"

Seth's face flushed, caught off guard by her observation. "Well, yes. Something like that."

Haiku laughed softly, the sound both light and eerie. "I see. So you're telling me that paying attention to the little things can give you insights into how to act appropriately."

"Exactly," Seth confirmed, feeling a bit more at ease now that he was answering more confidently. "It's about being aware of your surroundings and the people around you."

Haiki's gaze lingered on him for a moment before she gave a satisfied nod. "Thank you, Seth. I believe I understand a bit more now. I'll make sure to put it into practice."

Seth nodded, relieved that the conversation seemed to be wrapping up. "Glad I could help."

After lunch was over, Seth finally escaped Haiki and went on his way, After the classes were over. Seth went to the library. "Hey, you little parasite, Wake up"

Seth immediately made Thally come out of his arm, She was looking at him with a small but sly smile. "So how was your date"

Seth is a person who believes in equality, if he was annoyed she would be too, So he poked her. "Did you get fat?"

Thally pouted at Seth's comment, crossing her tiny arms. "No I used more energy to make this body, Also do you like my little petals"

She pushed away his hands, Seth looked at the white buds on her arm and blankly looked at her. He said no more words and entered the library, He went to the plant section and took a book about plants and then he went towards a table and sat there.

"So today we are going to see if we can mimic a few plants or try to make a seed since you are a parasite and I'm—."

"Firstly Yes I am a parasite but you are not my host, Truthfully speaking Half of you is Plant or me, and Half of me is you, We have an eternally symbiotic relationship, if you had children with someone else, they would be part of me too, and if I ever grow beyond this form, you would grow with me." Thally's words were said with such conviction that Seth paused, looking at her thoughtfully.

"Right…" Seth finally said, absorbing her words. "So, what you're saying is that we're kind of like one being split into two?"

"Exactly," Thally affirmed, her tone carrying a hint of pride. "But that also means I'm not just a parasite I'm your equal in every way."

Seth couldn't help but smile at that. "Alright then Partner, let's see what we can figure out today."

"Hey teach catch this" Serid didn't need to turn around as the paper ball thrown at her immediately turned into particles. She has only been here for a day and she already felt like beating the shit out of the little brats.

"Malcon, Since you want to play dodge ball" Setid with a Terrifying smile turned around and made a ball of fire, Malcon was one of her students, He had black eyes and a black flame on his forehead.

Malcon froze, his instincts screaming at him to flee, but his pride kept him rooted in place. He could feel the heat radiating from the fireball Serid had conjured, and the sight of her tail thrashing in anger only intensified his fear.

"Uh, Teach, I was just kidding," Malcon stammered, trying to backtrack as Serid's fiery gaze bore into him.

"Too late for that," Serid said with a wicked grin, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "You wanted to play, so let's play."

Malcon's breath hitched as Serid's fireball grew in size, the flames licking at the edges with a menacing intensity. The other students watched in silent awe, knowing better than to interfere when their teacher was in this kind of mood.

Serid's tail snapped to the side, and the fireball shot toward Malcon with blistering speed. Reacting purely on instinct, Malcon summoned his black flame, forming a barrier in front of him. The impact was immediate and intense, the collision of flames creating a shockwave that rippled through the room.

For a moment, it seemed like Malcon might be able to withstand the attack, but Serid's fireball was far stronger than anything he had anticipated. His barrier cracked under the pressure, and with a final, deafening explosion, it shattered, sending Malcon flying backward.

He landed with a thud, the remnants of Serid's flames still smoldering on his clothes. Groaning, he pushed himself up on shaky arms, his pride more bruised than his body.

"Lesson number one," Serid said, her voice cold and authoritative as she loomed over him. "Respect your teacher. I'm not here to play games with you, Malcon. Next time, I won't go so easy on you."

Malcon gulped and nodded quickly, the defiance in his eyes replaced by genuine fear. "Understood, Teach."

….

*BOOM*

"The fuck is that vibration?!" The human Vibrator Yalen was currently hunting on this planet, today he wasn't recording he was just here to collect some beast parts and crystals to upgrade his gauntlets and sell them.

He immediately ran towards the disturbance, on his way a few beasts were trying to attack him, But he quickly dispatched him.

After he reached the blast radius, he saw a crystalline meteor in a crevice, A Smile was constantly released from it.

"Uhhhh, Well this is strange, Can't I get a bit of peace?" He muttered a bit frustrated by the situation.

He could feel the pulses of a heartbeat from the meteor and he definitely couldn't ignore it. Suddenly the Rock shuddered.

Small cracks formed on it until it was fully free. What came out was a girl with crystalline hair and blue crystal-like wings.

Yalen stared in disbelief as the girl emerged from the crystalline meteor. Her hair shimmered with a crystalline sheen, reflecting the light in a mesmerizing array of colors. The blue crystal-like wings on her back glistened with an ethereal glow, and her clothing was unlike anything he had seen before not a dress, but something more akin to armor, yet elegant in its design. The intricate patterns and materials were advanced, possibly otherworldly.

"Great… just what I needed," Yalen muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. The situation had gone from a simple hunting mission to something far more complicated.

The girl slowly opened her eyes, revealing irises that sparkled like sapphires. She glanced around, taking in her surroundings, her expression a mix of confusion and wariness. Her gaze eventually settled on Yalen, and for a brief moment, their eyes locked.

"Where am I?!, Who are you" She suddenly held her head in pain, she didn't know why but she was sad.

Yalen flinched for a moment. "Hey, Calm down little girl, What's your name?"

After hearing his words she managed to calm down for a bit. "M-My name is Mare…I'm an Avidect, That's all I can remember"

"Great another Alien, Why am I the only one encountering aliens, i wonder if I am lucky or cursed" Yalen muttered silently.

The mare who was curiously looking at Yalen flew out of the Crater and landed in from her, she tilted her head and then looked at his gauntlets. "Uhm…excuse me sir but I'm hungry…Can I eat the metal in your gauntlets"

Yalen froze and then looked at her pitiful expression then his gauntlets, he was not going to part with them, it cost him over five million Credits. "…You eat metal?"

Mare nodded her head shyly. "Uhm yes, but if you have any crystals that would be better, the one I crashed with is a shell…Sorry if I'm being intrusive"

"Sigh, Well looks like I'm adopting an Alien today" Yalen let out a deep sigh, knowing full well that his day just got a lot more complicated. Mare's innocent plea, combined with her alien appearance, left him feeling a mixture of frustration and curiosity.

"Listen, Mare, I can't just give you my gauntlets," Yalen said, holding up his hands to show off the gear that had cost him a small fortune. "But I might have some metal scraps and crystals back at my ship."

Mare's face brightened at the mention of crystals, her wings fluttering slightly with excitement. "Really? That would be wonderful!"

Yalen couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm, despite the bizarre situation. "Yeah, yeah, let's get going. Follow me."

Yalen had a HyperJump engine built into his ship, Using portals was easy but he sometimes used his ship. His ship was sleek silver in color.
