"Oh yeah looks like you aren't so radiant anymore" Seth said in a mocking tone.
Lucy flinched and resisted the urge to itch herself, Suddenly balls of light appeared around her all aimiat Seth.
"…You insolent little worm, i can't kill you but i will definitely make you regret Arrgh—," She violently started itching herself as red spots appeared around her body, Thally chuckled slightly as she released more Poison Ivy dust.
Tears began to fall from her eyes, Seth was unfeeling towards her sorry figure. "Y-you have made Radiant Light your enemy, Retreat?!!"
She and her group immediately ran away feom the area in fear of getting infected more. "…I made an enemy of the Radiant light group, First achievement in the academy is a success now i probably have a bounty on my head, nice"
"Heheheh, that was funny" Thally chuckled, she was happily enjoying their suffering. Seth then went on his way back to his dorm.
The members of The Silver Sword Group suddenly had second thoughts. "…huh i don't want to get poison ivy"
Vice crossed his hands. "Verity, i think your brother is right, i think we shouldn't follow him"
"Both of you, Zane Stop acting like chicken" As she said that they continued to follow him.
In Yalen's ship, Mare was currently eating some metal as he watched her curiously, her expression wa satisfied and her teeth bit through it like butter.
After she was done she looked at Yalen, her wings folded in nervousness. "uhm can you stop staring at me while i'm eating…it feels weird"
Yalen blinked for a moment. "Ahh Sorry for that, it's just interesting to watch, We should be arriving Earth in a few minutes, don't worry about your identity, i'll just say i adopted you and hid you from the public and then took you out on a small trip"
He said with a small smile, Mare didn't really get it, she slowly nodded her head. " Is it that Dangerous?"
"There are some…Concerning people on this world, Vile and disgusting people, So i would rather adopt an Alien that looks about sixteen or fifteen than Hand them over to corrupt council members so they can be sent to Illuminai Labs" He said with a sigh as he looked through the green and blue planet through the mirror.
"Space is a dark place with no light but the illumination of the stars and grand cosmos, It's a tapestry created from the big bang, i can feel it's vibration spreading throughout and expanding, shifting like a beast expanding its territory" Mare was slightly lost when he started speaking about those things.
She was clearly still confused as to why she landed where she landed, but the man didn't seem bad, She almost felt a magnetic connection to him.
"So How should i address you, Dad or Sir Yalen?" She asked in a curious tone.
"Sigh, i knew my looks were good, Eventually i would become a father, My dear Adopted extraterrestrial Daughter, Call Me dad" Yalen said in a dramatic Manner.
Mare chuckled at his display of humor, feeling a little more at ease. "Alright then, Dad," she said, trying out the word for the first time. It felt strange on her tongue, but not unpleasant.
Yalen grinned, clearly pleased. "That's more like it. Now, let's get you ready. Earth can be overwhelming, especially for someone like you. Just stick by me, and everything will be fine."
"Ok, buy i don't have any clothes under this armor and i think my wings may tear off clothes like yours" She akwardly said.
Yalen glanced at Mare, considering the situation. "You've got a point," he admitted, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "I'll have to find something that accommodates your wings. And something more comfortable than that armor." He turned to a console, pulling up a holographic display of various clothing options.
After a moment, he found something that caught his eye—a set of clothes made from a flexible, durable material that could easily adjust to different body types and wouldn't tear easily. The outfit was simple, a mix of earth tones that would allow Mare to blend in while still being functional.
"This should do," he said, selecting the outfit and beginning the process of synthesizing it from the ship's fabricator. "The material is designed to be durable and stretchable, so it should fit over your wings without any problems. And as for armor, well, we'll just have to keep that for special occasions."
Mare watched as the clothes took shape, her wings twitching slightly in anticipation. "I hope it doesn't look too weird," she said, a hint of nervousness in her voice.
Yalen chuckled, handing her the completed outfit. "You'll look fine, trust me. Besides, if anyone stares, it'll be because you're extraordinary, not because you look weird."
Mare took the clothes, examining them curiously before starting to change. Yalen respectfully turned his back, focusing on the ship's controls. As Mare slipped into the outfit, she found that it was surprisingly comfortable. The fabric felt soft against her skin, and it accommodated her wings perfectly, allowing them to move freely without any restriction.
"How does it feel?" Yalen asked, still facing away.
"It's… nice," Mare replied, flexing her wings experimentally. "Much better than the armor."
"Yes i'll buy you some real ones once we are home" Yalen for the second time found someone that gave him a sense to protect them, Mare reminds him of Yelen.
After the ship landed on the nearby Shipyard he first unloaded the beast flesh, bones and crystals from his cargo, A group of Security made sure that they weren't damaged.
After unloading it they waited for Yalen to land, The interplanetary Surveillance Group was one of the Many groups under the Dera Family, Usually they stayed on a planet far away from earth and never even make contact with it which in terms they were labeled as Proto-Humans or Human Aliens.
Recently some unrest was going on for Some years, The Dera family is now split into Two and separated, One side was on the planet the other were interacting with Earth.
When he came out with Mare the Staff were waiting for him in front of the door. "Sir, Should we sell thise beast parts or are you going to ise them to enhance your weapons in the Weapon Depart"
"Nah, i'll gift it to my sister, you can ask her what to do with it" He said as he left them behind, Mare Nervously followed him, her wings slightly fluttered as they walked through the busy shipyard. The place was a hive of activity, with workers and traders bustling about, the air filled with the sounds of machinery and distant conversations. Mare felt overwhelmed by the sheer volume of people and noise, but Yalen's calm presence kept her grounded.
As they moved further into the shipyard, Yalen led her through a series of corridors that gradually became quieter and more private. Eventually, they arrived at a sleek, private shuttle, which Yalen gestured for Mare to board.
"Come on, this will take us to the estate," he said reassuringly.
Mare hesitated for a moment, her wings twitching in uncertainty. "Are you sure it's safe? I mean, they won't… do anything to me, right?"
Yalen smiled softly and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "I promise, you're under my protection now. No one will dare lay a finger on you. Besides, the estate is far from prying eyes. It's the safest place you can be on this planet."
Mare nodded, though the nervous flutter in her chest didn't entirely go away. She followed him onto the shuttle, and as soon as they were seated, the shuttle took off, smoothly gliding through the air towards its destination.
As they flew, Mare looked out the window, marveling at the sprawling city below. The architecture was unlike anything she'd seen before, towering skyscrapers of glass and steel, intertwined with patches of greenery and rivers that snaked through the cityscape.
Mare nodded again, feeling a bit more reassured by his words. The rest of the journey was spent in a comfortable silence, with Mare taking in the new sights and sounds of Earth, while Yalen occasionally glanced at her, a protective glint in his eyes.
Finally, the shuttle began to descend, landing smoothly on a large, well-manicured estate surrounded by high walls and lush gardens. The area was secluded, far from the chaos of the city, and Mare felt a sense of calm wash over her as they stepped out of the shuttle.
Yalen led her up a path towards a grand mansion, where Yelen immediately ran towards him. "Brother you're back, who's that?"
"My adopted daughter Mare and an alien, also i haven't payed my rent so i'll stay with you for a while" He nonchalantly said.
"Wow there, you can't just say that, Also come give your aunt a hug after that i'll treat you to some ice cream" Mare hesitated, looking from Yalen to Yelen, unsure of what to do. She had never had much contact with other people, let alone a family. The concept of hugging was foreign to her, but seeing Yelen's open arms and warm smile, she took a tentative step forward.
Yelen enveloped her in a gentle hug, careful not to crush her wings. "Welcome to the family, Mare. We're a bit unconventional, but we take care of our own," she said softly, pulling back to look at the girl. "And I think you'll fit right in."
Mare managed a small smile, still feeling a bit awkward but also oddly comforted by the gesture. "Thank you… Aunt Yelen," she said, trying the word out for the first time.
Yelen beamed. "That's the spirit! Now, ice cream, right? We have all kinds of flavors, what's your favorite?"
Mare blinked, puzzled. "Um, I don't know what ice cream is…"
