What is the unknown, Humanity has faced it many times and at those times they win and they also lose, the unknown is anything that isn't known by the ones whi know of everything.
And sometimes life will throw such things your way.
Yes the talk about the Unknown.
It happened fifteen years ago, a man ran along being chased by multiple people, he was wearing a hood and a faceless black mas making his identity unknown.
He ran awat from a hospital after doing some things.
The people who were chasing suddenly stopped as a portal appeared in front of him, the figure went inside and disappeared. "What an incredible ability, maybe with this i would be ab-."
A large object, a root the size of a moon came crashing down towards him. But it wasn't enough, the root was cut apart into a thousand pieces.
*Roaaarrrr?!!!!*
It was a monstrous being the size of a large world and he was in its domain.
"A Cataclysm Empress?, it's weak" The man didn't even waste a second, soon a large chunk of the beast disappeared.
But it regenerated faster than the eyes of even humans with optical abilities.
"Unkillable eh?, well then i guess i'll just have to absorb everything that is you" And soon the beast screamed as it started shrinking
until it was no larger than the size of a mountain, its monstrous form twisting in agony. The man, still faceless, seemed unfazed by the immense power the beast exuded as it desperately tried to flee from his grasp. His presence, though a mystery to all who witnessed, commanded absolute control over the situation.
"Everything… it will be mine," the figure whispered coldly, stepping forward with a sense of purpose. His hands glowed with an unnatural energy, a dark, shimmering aura surrounding him as he reached toward the now-shrinking creature. The beast let out a final, pained roar, but it was futile. Within moments, the last remnants of the Cataclysm Empress were absorbed into the man, leaving only a void where once a titan of chaos had stood.
But an unexpected change happened, a seed appeared in the void and before the man could react, a root pierced through one of his abilities and then absorbed it.
The seed then disappeared without any notice.
"How…interesting, so it used the last of its energy to devour my energy but it devoured one of my abilities to escape…oh well it would decay in space either way…also that parasitic ability was useless to me anyway's, it ate away all my energy" The man didn't care, he opened another portal, but this one was different.
Inside of it was a world so incomprehensible that the surroundings near the portal began to be erased. But the man was unaffected, he smiled behind his mask. "Let's see who loses first this time"
The man entered the unknown.
While that was going on, a seed was frantically flying throudpace with incredible speeds. it was speeding for a long time until one day it landed in a world of blue and green.
And thus a new unknown appeared in this world.
…..
Thally wasn't able to talk to seth for some time now, while he was asleep, she sprouted from his hand, her appearance has changed by a lot, now she had green eyes and fair skin, her hair was also green. But these were just colored pigments of plant and human cells.
She made herself some legs and walked to Seth's head, she sat down there and contemplated, there was an unknown feeling deep within her and ofcourse him.
It was primal yet it was natural. "I-i'm scared Seth"
She silently said, of course seth wouldn't hear her, he was asleep after all.
"It was painful, can i stay by your side?" She asked, her voice was neutral…but it was mixed with fear.
"Seth, we are both unstable" She said, her voice cracking slightly.
She looked at Seth and he was staring at her with glowing green eyes.
"Please say something?!" She knew it wasn't him, ofcourse she knew, it was someone else, it was him but is not him, currently 'Seth' is sleeping and now 'this thing' is awake for a moment.
'Seth' closed his eyes and the presence disappeared, but Thally was still scared she knew what it was, it was like 'Her', it was an 'incomplete' part of himself, like her she also had an 'incomplete'.
But their 'unification' made the two complete despite losing a part of themselves. Thally was silent, she disappeared back into Seth's body and made herself fall asleep.
Thr next day, Seth woke up with a headache. He sat down on the bed "Hey Thally, you haven't talkes since the events of yesterday, are you alright"
She didn't respond but in the next moment she appeared on his shoulder. "I'm fine"
"Oh your appearance changed" He said whilst poking her.
"Today is a new day and another weekend also you have ant some food" He reached out to the container that had the grasshoppers in them.
Seth grabbed a grasshopper and held it up to Thally. She tilted her head, her vibrant green eyes locking onto the small insect, but there was hesitation in her gaze. She reached out, plucking it from his fingers with delicate hands made of intertwined plant and human cells.
"I don't feel like eating today," she said softly, letting the grasshopper crawl across her hand before setting it down gently.
Seth frowned. "You sure? You're not… sick or anything, right?"
Thally gave a faint smile, but it didn't reach her eyes. "No, Seth. I'm just… tired. Yesterday drained me more than I thought."
Seth studied her closely. Something about her felt off, as if the connection they shared had frayed ever so slightly. He wanted to press further, but before he could, Thally abruptly stood up and stretched, her form shimmering faintly in the sunlight filtering through the window.
"I'll be fine," she said, her voice carrying a false cheerfulness. "Let's just get on with the day, okay?"
Seth didn't thinks so, he didn't know why her mood suddenly shifted from her usually cheerful one. "Nope, you are not fine, you look shad almost fearful, what happened?"
She suddenly shifted from sitting on his shoulders and walked all the way towards his head.
Thally perched herself atop Seth's head, her small frame radiating tension. Her green hair shimmered faintly, like leaves trembling in the wind. She avoided his gaze, staring down at her hands instead.
"Something happened yesterday… while you were asleep," she began hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Seth frowned. "What do you mean? Did something hurt you?"
She shook her head quickly but stopped, her expression pained. "It wasn't something external… it was… you."
Seth blinked, completely taken aback. "Me? What do you mean? I was out cold."
Thally hesitated, her hands curling into fists. "It wasn't exactly you, but… it was something inside of you. It felt like… like a part of you woke up for just a moment. And that part wasn't… you. It was something incomplete. Something… dangerous."
"What did it do?" Seth asked cautiously, his voice low.
"It just… watched me," Thally said, her voice trembling. "Its eyes glowed green, just like mine, but… they weren't yours. They were cold. Detached. Like it was trying to understand me but didn't care about what I felt." She paused, her voice breaking slightly. "It didn't hurt me, but… it scared me, Seth. It felt like it wanted something, and I don't know what."
Seth felt a chill run through him. He gently reached up, cupping his hands under Thally to lift her off his head and hold her in front of him. She was trembling slightly, her vibrant green eyes glossy with unshed tears.
"I'm sorry," he said softly. "I don't know what that was, but I promise I'll figure it out. I won't let anything hurt you—not even if it's something inside me."
Thally looked into his eyes, searching for sincerity. She found it and nodded slowly. "I… believe you, Seth. But it's not just you. I'm incomplete too, remember? I felt… something similar inside myself yesterday. It was faint, but it's there. And it's like… it's calling to whatever's inside you."
"So…we have a split personality…" Seth made sure that Jake was asleep before continuing to talk.
"Sort of…it's like part of ourselves that have lost something, is that the reason why we are so compatible at the beginning, we both lost something?" She asked curiously.
"No that can't be all then…where did my father find you…" Seth brought out a very interesting question. Where did william find Thally and what exactly is going on with Seth and Thally? Was it the effect of the elixir…or something else.
As the two conversed.
Deep within their minds.
Two distinct presences lingered, they were watching, they had a truce and they will watch until…until it was time for them to come out.
