A Divine Battle! Renji Vs The Imperial Dragon!

"Did you actually think that poison of that level can hurt me? Quit mocking me, you damn mortal!" Shelia exclaimed furiously, building up a more concentrated beam of energy in her mouth.

"What!?" Just by staring at the beam alone, Renji knew that if it should hit the ground it's range would be unimaginable. The whole village would undoubtedly be wiped out.

"Wind Dragon's Blast!" He emitted a large blast of wind from his mouth at Shelia, with mana flowing smoothly around his body, it got infused with his spell allowing for a more deadly strike. However, faced with the imperial dragon it meant nothing.

Before Shelia could fire off the beam, the wind dragon collided with her jaw changing the trajectory of the beam to the sky. The beam tore right through the sky, ripping apart the very fabric of space. As the beam dispersed, a hole was left open in the sky.

Renji's entire body trembled with fear, he couldn't believe what he was up against. Just a mere beam from her mouth had tore through the fabric of space. "What is this..?" He asked with wavering eyes.

Distracted by the hole in the sky, Renji didn't realize that Shelia went on the offensive and drove her hand towards him. She launched him through several trees which broke swiftly on impact given the force exerted on his body. Finally his momentum was stopped by a large boulder which shattered into pieces as his body passed through it.

As his body finally landed hard on the solid ground, he coughed up a large amount of blood. The impact that resonated through his body just from Shelia's fist alone was unbearable, if it were another human, they'd he dead.

Renji on the other hand was unable to move, his core vibrated from the immense force which overwhelmed him and several of his bones were broken, including his femur.

Shelia approached him, each step she took caused tremors which shook the grounds of their battle surrounding. "I've wasted enough time on the likes of you, hand over the sphere and I'll make your death swift and less painful." She demanded, offering a more peaceful way to die than what she initially planned.

"I-I won't let you have the stone reptile." He struggled to speak given the current state of his body.

[Mythic Recovery has been activated]

Once again, a golden aura surrounded his body and all his injuries both external and internal were completely healed.

[Mana level is nearing complete depletion]

"Shit, I'm running low on mana. That ability that just healed me must have depleted a large portion of my mana, not to mention the continuous use of the Ultimate Perception." He thought to himself as he stood up to his feet with the Drakon's dagger rematerializing in his right hand.

"I have to end this now before I completely run out of mana. Even though she's a divine being, as long as I am still able to sense her mana at this level I'm in, there's still a 1% possibility I can beat her!" He added as he dashed forward at her.

He disabled his Ultimate Perception to avoid further depletion of his mana as he planned to focus everything he's got on this next attack. "Nothing annoys me more than persistent fools who wastes my time!" Shelia roared with a thunderous voice, slamming her hands down at Renji several times.

He jumped from side to side evading her every strike. "Wind Dragon's Blast!" He released another large blast of wind at the side of Shelia, although weak to penetrate her skin, it was powerful enough to drive her several inches backwards.

"Damn you!" She relentlessly slammed her palms at him, causing numerous landslides and vibrations to run through the ground. He jumped to upwards in the air, using his wind magic to accelerate his boost.

"Secret Art: Spiraling Wind Dragon's Blast!" Utilizing his new secret art, he fired off a double spiraling dragon blast infused with mana at her chest which drove her backwards even more as she crashed to the ground.

Now that she laid on the ground, he knew he couldn't waste any more time. "Secret Art: Wind Binding Technique!" He said as he slammed his two palms against each other.

Instantly, the wind surrounding the whole environment within a 70 meter radius stopped circulating for a moment and rushed towards Shelia like a tsunami from all respective sides and angles. She became bound momentarily by the immense wind pressure that colided with her from all sides.

Well aware that this would not hold her for long, he jumped to the top of her chest as she laid on her back bound by the wind. He immediately started stabbing her chest multiple times.

"AAAARR!" He infused his mana and wind magic into the sword to increase the dagger's momentum. Applying more and more pressure to the dagger, it finally broke through the exoskeleton of Shelia and penetrated her chest.

She roared loudly, using the pressure of her roar to disperse the wind that binded her. She rose to her feet quickly, knocking Renji off balance and throwing him off her chest. As Renji fell from her chest to the ground, he was airborne making it almost impossible to dodge any attacks given the momentum of his descent.

"Game over!" Shelia said, building up another beam of concentrated energy in her mouth with the aim to kill him.

"Is that so? I could say the same for you!" Renji grinned softly, before Shelia had the chance to fire off the beam and potentially bring his life to an end, he used his secret art (Spiralling Wind Dragon's Blast) and fired a spiralling dragon's blast at her chest.

The blast colided with the dagger he used to penetrate her skin earlier and drove it deeper into her chest and as a result it pierced her heart. The beam in her mouth dissipated as she felt a sharp pain in her chest.

"It worked!" He exclaimed.

Instantly, he leaped towards Sheila's face and raised his right hand. The dagger rematerialized in his hand and he immediately began stabbing her eyes multiple times.

"AAAARR!" He cried out while stabbing her.

"I-I can't move." Shelia thought. After a series of stabbing, her body became numb and she fell to the ground, succumbing to the poison effect of the dagger.

"I-It can't be, I lost?"

"Just who the hell... Are you?" She said softly as her neruo-functions as well as her bodily functions began to seize.

"You think this is over mortal? More will come for that Sphere and will do anything to get it, the destruction of the human race is on your head." A few seconds later her eyes closed slowly succumbing to death's humble embrace.

Crouching to his right knee, Renji panted softly trying to catch his breath. "Good thing I went for her internal organs before it was too late, so I levelled up this much after beating a divine being?" He said softly with a smile on his face.
