Overall, if you're a fan of the "I Am the Fated Villain" novel or comic, you are going to like this. It shares MANY similarities with it, with the exception of that we get tons of erotic 'extras' that the original lacks. The systems are similar enough that I would be very surprised if the author didn't take tons of inspiration from "I am the Fated Villain." The Good: Above average XXX scenes, good mix of story with a sprinkling of comedic moments, but not a comedy by any means. Pure male power fantasy done right. For their first novel on Webnovel, this doesn't read like someone's first novel. While the writing quality isn't amazing, it is significantly better than the average first novel of most writers. (I still cringe looking at my first, The Alterra Project, when I look at the earlier chapters.) The Bad: Due to the nature of this type of novel, we're lacking a lot of the world background and characters are very quick to be introduced and forgotten. This isn't a huge problem though because this story is purely for the MC and is not meant to be thought provoking, but I personally like deeper characters. No updates for a week after going premium is a bad sign, but hopefully, the author is just gathering their thoughts and penning up more chapters. The Neutral: I personally wish for more in-depth characters that we can watch grow together, but that is just my personal wish and not the purpose of this story, so it doesn't affect this review. I can't say how the later chapters are because I'm cheap, but the author is off to a good start and seems to know exactly what they're doing.

Honestly author, you really should explain this part extensively right at the first chapter, because this is likely the most important aspect whenever a war of words happens. This world has almost always been busy with conflict, wars, fight, cultivation/gaining power. Only in the recent few years has there been peace. Only in times of peace would the importance of debating skills, understanding human psychology matter. In a world where only power matters and fights are the norm, what use is good speaking skills? And also people seriously underestimate the miraculous effect of Internet too much. Internet gives everyone soo much information, we see so much human interaction from movies to social media content, we learn so much about different people and scenarios, different perspectives and ways of speaking, and just, it's just not comparable to medieval age even with magic added. And the novel literally is middle age with advanced magic features, and underdeveloped psychology knowledge because only strength mattered for a long time.

I understand you're focusing on your other book, but please don't abandon this one. Will you be picking this up later, or is it canceled? I'd love a reply.

Let me explain how the previous chapters of this novel were completely illogical and how the author simply lowers the IQ of those who are enemies of the Mc and raises the IQ of the Mc. The author forces a nonsensical plot to make the Mc seem intelligent, cold and calculating, when in fact he is not. Let's go First, the Hero is the son of one of the most powerful kingdoms in existence, creating as reality, he certainly received the best education, from the best teachers. It would be very easy to answer Vitras' question, even I have a simple and easy answer that would solve the situation. On the other hand, our Mc is just a salaried worker who certainly did not have the same education as a prince. Our Mc is presented in the previous chapters as someone who was bored with the situation, and despite saying that he clearly wanted to survive, he wasn't putting any effort into it. He also seemed like a fool bored with everything around him, in addition to being completely rude with his words. His advisor doesn't make sense. Why choose an immature and not very intelligent girl to represent the prince (and the fact that she knows 8 languages doesn't seem to help much). So what happened in the following chapters? The author forced an illogical environment to demonstrate how "intelligent" the Mc was and how much he was willing to do anything to survive. The author lowered the hero's IQ and made our Mc seem like a master with words. To me, the Mc looks more like those protagonists from Cultivos, where it seems like the author is brain dead. And this type of protagonist, even though he is clearly incompetent because of the illogical plot that the author forces down our throats, in the end the protagonist emerges victorious and seems intelligent and calculating. Reading this novel is as if the author took one of those cultivated protagonists and gave him the title of Villain, and took the villain and gave him the title of Hero. The author has potential, the idea of the story is good, but he doesn't seem to have enough maturity to develop the plot, and ends up forcing an illogical plot to achieve the ending he wants.
