New Chapter, New Opportunities

"Rory, Wake up! You have school today" A scream can be heard downstairs.

"Im up Mom!" I replied to the scream, it was my mother waking me up.

Sometimes you have to agree that when you wake up, you need that extra push to get out of your bed.

Oh wait, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Aurora Garcia, today is the day i start a new chapter of my life; a life of a high schooler.

Im not particularly accustomed to it immediately because I have to start from scratch in terms of friends, but that's where the excitement is, I can start anew and meet new friends.

"Are you nervous dear?, today is your first day as an high schooler?" My mom asked over breakfast.

"Not really, Im looking forward to have new friends as a matter of fact" I replied.

"oh thats goods to hear. but remember, " pick your friends because-""

" "There are ones that can bring you up ,but there are also that will drag you down" i know mom dont worry!" I replied to the quote my Mother always tell me.

"I'm glad you know dear, now get dressed and be ready for school, you don't wanna be late for school do you?"

"I will mom." I replied after eating and going to shower.

Having those kind of conversation with my mom is a bit reassuring, it kind of makes me more eager to go to school already!

After getting ready, I eagerly gone to school. While going there,I bumped into someone.

"Ow! sorry,my bad" I told the man I bumped.

"Its okay, watch where you going next time Miss." He replied in a calm tone and just walked away.

Hold on, He's wearing a unifrom from our school. I wonder what grade is he? I hope I meet him again.

After that bit of a Hurdle, I got back on my track and go to school. Onced i got there, I took a look on the bulletin board and find the room number for the class I'm in.

I already figured out what class I'm in, it is revealed during enrollment. I got placed on class B, so after I found my room number, I quickly go there.

I opened the door and saw alot of unfamiliar faces, The school may have elementary but I didn't attended mine here thus I transfered here.

I took a seat somewhere not that far from the window because it is open. Then i noticed a familiar guy wearing a watch similar to the one that i bumped this morning.

could it be?

Jasper's P.O.V

I'm not particularly excited going to school, I'd rather stay at home if you could ask me.

Im Jasper Hawthorne, I don't like going to school but I'm kind of need to out of respect to the person that funded my education: my parents.

Ever since, I wasn't the type to be active at school, I'm not saying I score bad at tests; I dont score that exceptional as well. I'm just your avarage student. I prefer being at home and watch anime and read manga, a typical otaku as people call it.

I do have friends, Oliver Hartford, in which he prefers to be called as "Ollie". He's a childhood friend of mine because we live in the same neighborhood and our parents were friends since their sophomore year on high school. He also came from the same elementary I did so naturally he's the one that always want me to do stuff outside and that made us get along eventually. Ollie is a bit of a goofball if you ask me.

And there's Evan Parker, a friend from 4th Grade. I have no idea at this point how i got acquainted with him but I think its from a group activity we had in our class, there he noticed i have a knack for anime and manga, in which he has too. When I told Ollie that i made a friend, as a goofball as he is:

"Oh my god you made a friend! my best friend actually did it! how did you finally do it? I was worried that im the only friend you have in your life and somehow you managed to make one by yourself!" Ollie said with a mix of shock and excitement in his face.

" That last part is weird but yeah,I did make a friend, we were in a group activity in class and he took notice of my knack with anime and manga." I replied to him in a calm tone.

"So... when will you have him meet me? I'm still suprised you made a friend and I'm excited to meet him! " Ollie said with excitement and enthusiasm still written all over his face.

"Okay first of all, calm down. Next why not meet him after school?"

"DEAL!" Ollie said after I asked if hes good on meeting Evan after school.

After they met, for some reason He and Evan got closer; closer than me if you ask me. I didn't care if they do to be honest, I'm just glad I made a friend aside from Ollie.Now Evan acts like the mother in our trio because he sometimes apprehend me and Ollie for things we do wrong; mostly Ollie though.

"Oi Jazz, eat your lunch. we dont have forever for lunch break you know?" Evan said with an authoritative matter.

"No besides,are you my mother?" I replied playfully.

" No but I'll definitely be one if you dont eat and I take that manga you're reading." He said as a reply to my answer.

" Ugh fine." I can't futher argue with him about this.

" Good Boy~~."

" Weirdo" I replied with an annoyed look to his playful reply, he hit me at the spot I can't refuse.

That being said,I can say were good friends,they even were both excited this morning though. Both of them wake me up this morning.

" Wakey wakey,today is the day we become high schoolers, you should get ready sleepy head -Ollie"

" Oi, wake up. you better not be late, it's our first day. Meet me and Ollie at the gate and we go in together - Evan"

"It's early in the morning and these two..." Half-awake I mumble to myself.

After reading those,i prepared myself and gone to school, while on the way I bumped into a young lady

"Ow! sorry,my bad" The girl that bumped me said and apologized.

I didn't get hurt or something though, but I noticed she's wearing our school's uniform.I wonder what class or grade is she in. I checked my watch I noticed the time. Evan and Ollie might be there already.

"Its okay, watch where you going next time Miss." I replied in a polite manner so it won't look im rude.

I walked in a hurry but not run, to not raise suspicion and not to put a bad impression to the young lady

"And here he is! Morning Jazz! " Ollie said the moment he saw me, clearly excited for today

"Morning Jazz. " Compare to Olllie,I can expect that Evan will be calm on this matter.

"Morning to you two too." I replied to the two.

"Lets check our room assignments?" Ollie said as we go in.

"by the way, none of you told me what class you two in." I replied, now that he mentioned it,none of them told me their class.

"We're in the same class,Class A."

Wow these two are in the same Class, well that's convenient.

"What class you in Jazz?" Evan asked, curious about my class.

"Class B. " I replied.

"Well thats a bummer. You're in a different class" Ollie said clearly bummed that were in different classes.

" To be honest, I'm quite delighted. I dont have to deal with you pestering me Ollie." I replied in a playful matter.

"Rude" Ollie said while pouting.

"Found our room assignments, see you later Jazz. Have fun today " Evan said while dragging the pouting Ollie to their room.

" I will,thanks Evan." I replied.

I opened the door to the room and saw unfamiliar faces. Its quite weird knowing I graduated Elementary on this school. Probably some from our batch did transfered school.

I checked the seat next to the window and sat there. Its my usual seat and I assume it will be for the rest of the semester. Onced I settled down I pull up my phone and read to kill the time.Then I heard a female voice; a familiar one as a matter of fact.

" Uhm...excuse me?"

I look at the source of that voice and there she is, the same person that i bumped with earlier.
