Stephen's heart soared. He has done it! he has convinced Mr. Wong to invest in SM company. 


But, as they shook hands, Stephen's uncle walked in, a smug on his face, "congratulations, Stephen," he said, "you may have won this war but, I will make sure you do not celebrate the victory," he added, his voice almost in a whispering tone. 


Stephen's eyes narrowed. What was his uncle planning now? He knew that this was far from over. 


Unbeknownst to Stephen, Spice Masters had been secretly bribing Ms. Li, Mr. Wong's interpreter, to sabotage SM company's chances. Ms. Li had been paid hefty sum to convince Mr. Wong to invest in Spice Masters instead. 


As Mr. Wong and Stephen were discussing the details of the investments, Ms. Li pulled Mr. Wong aside and whispered something in his ear. Mr. Wong's expression changed from interested to concerned.
