Harry ’s POV
“That’s so dreamy,” she said as her surprised expression popped out of eyes. Well, no doubt. It was way too dreamy. I remember my first time seeing it. I was way more stunned than her.
She was taking pictures and smiling at them foolishly, standing beside me in the car.
“Looks like you are enjoying it a lot,” Clarke said. He was at the front in the passenger seat.
It made me wonder, Was he looking at her?
“Yeah, I want to brag that I am in Venice,” she said, her eyes glued to her phone.
“You know you can’t tell this to anyone,” Clarke turned his head to her.
“Well, I have not many friends. Just lilly , you know her,” her eyebrows were raised.
He knew?
“That one? Yeah, she was sweet.”
“She is going to kill me, if I am not going to buy something for her from Venice.”
“Really? I know some very great places there. You can buy some vintage things from there,” his tone was friendly, unnecessarily.
We reached our hotel. Entrance was vast and it always gave me some royal feelings. In her hoodie and casual pants, she seemed like one of my staff. Raven, checked in for our already booked rooms.
Providing me with two key cards, Clarke said,
“Her room is beside yours. Can you take her with you? I have to look something up here.” I replied to him with a nod.
I looked at her, she did too. And I started walking, and she followed me. Standing in the elevator, I wondered. If she ever stayed in hotel rooms ever. No, I wasn’t mocking. But I was thinking if she knew about stuff. Like security and other things. She was humming softly, looking at her phone and smiling. Elevator door opened and we both stepped out.
212 was written on the door. It was my room. 213 was hers. I unlocked my door, and handed her the other key card. And with that, my duty was over. She was in front of her room.
Shower was nice. I was not very tired, still I was feeling a lot better when I got out of the bathroom. I sat on the couch to finally decide what to eat. I heard a soft knock. Peeking from the small hole, I saw her standing. I opened the door instantly,
“Is something wrong?,” my creased forehead questions her.
“The key card is not working. Can you help with that?” her eyes travelled at my face and my hair. It was wet.
“Were you standing there? I mean for how long?”
“For like twenty five minutes. It wasn’t working. I knocked before. But you didn’t answer.”
“I was in the shower.” I took the keys from her hand. I felt her hands were sweaty.
“Is it hot on her?”
“Uhh-no, I just freaked out, a little bit, the hallway is so quiet.” The smile was forced. Putting the key card in front of the scanner I unlocked the door. Her mouth opened in, ‘ooh’ shape. But I never heard the sound.
“Here, just place it here, it’ll get scanned.” I informed her.
“Thanks,” she took it from my hand.
I saw her going in and shutting the door. I went back to my room. Closing the door, I stood still for a minute. I turned and stepped out again. I knocked at the door and she opened it in no time.
“Yes?” She wasn’t rude.
“I don’t know if you know-but-check before you open the door and don’t open it for anyone. And uhh, call Clarke if anythings wrong,” I was stuttering not like a nervous stutter but a reluctant one.
“Yes,” she said, she was not expecting it.
“And-uhh, you can call me too,” I turned, and rushed to the door. Without looking at her.
It was late, when I opened the door. Room was drowned in darkness. Throwing my coat on the bed, I took off my shoes. I was just stepping in the bathroom for a very relaxing shower. When I heard a knock again.
It was her,
“Can you check my shower, it’s not working.” with an unnecessary cheeky grin she said.
“I don’t remember promising you to do your personal chores,” I expressed the annoyance dancing on my face.
“But you-.”
“Call room service,” with that I shut the door. And I heard her saying a**hole.
I rolled my eyes and went back to shower.
Muffled giggles and chattering, I heard from the other side of the door. There were two people. And if I wasn’t wrong one of them was a man’s voice.
Was she flirting with the room attendants?
This was none of my business, was the logical reason for me to ignore it and get to my bed. As I needed sleep. The party I attended was fruitful. I did feel people looking at me suspiciously as I was in a dating scandal. But the agency for which I attended the party full of rich chicks and useless gossips, did approach me. It was a musical event. It was necessary for me to attend as for my new album I wanted new investors.
“No,no please,” It was her voice. I wasn’t sure what I wanted. It was like an automatic moment, I stood up and in no time I found myself banging on the door. No one opened the door. I banged it again. And again. And once again.
The door opened. She appeared in front of me. Her eyes were sleepy. And she yawned as she said,
“Are you sleepwalking? Because there is no senseful reason for you to bang at my door,” her voice looked so innocent. She was still not fully awake as she talked with droopy lids.
“Who were you talking to?” was the simple question I said as I ignored the effect of her so casual look on me.
“I don’t sleep talk. So, I wasn’t talking.”
“But I heard you talking.” my hand rested on the wall.
“So?” she said with a pout.
“So,-”
A moan filled my ear. It was a woman’s moan. A very clear one. Followed by another one, with creaking sounds of furniture. It was coming from the room beside hers. They were f**king too loudly.
“Look, you heard them,” she said so casually.
“What are they doing, By the way,” she frowned. And I doubted, if she really didn’t know. I was looking at her face. I wasn’t embarrassed but a little bit uneasy.
“Hey stop that!” she shouted.
“Stop it,” I said with clenched teeth.
“Why? Hey stop that it's’ too loud we are sleeping,” she was being loud and mumbling nonsense, when I grabbed and by her elbow she was standing next to that door.
“Stop that Sarah , they are f**king,” I said.
“Stop f**king,” were words she said even louder. Releasing it instantly, her eyes bulged. The voices stopped.
“Uhh, uhh don’t stop!!,” this time her voice was a bit nervous but equally loud. I was standing silent. She looked at me. The sound of the door made her body dance at the spot, she rushed her in her room but stopped for a moment. She turned and grabbed my hand. Shoving herself with me in her room, she closed the door.
