Sarah’s POV
“So you were that kind of teenager,” I said as I caught my breath after laughing so hard. He was looking at me silently with soft eyes the whole time I was laughing.
“Are you curious about my teenage years now?” He teased me.
“Umm,......maybe,” I tilted my head a little, my tone was funky. I heard a chuckle. It was deep. Uncontrolled. Free. I giggled too.
Gosh his eyes were glowing.
I grabbed a cowboy hat and put it on my head.
“How do I look?”
“I thought you were buying a gift for someone,” he said, adjusting the hat on my head.
“I am, that’s why I am asking you to tell me how it looks on me?” our hands touched as I tried to reach the edges of the hat.
“On you-it looks good,” he was looking directly into my eyes.
Suddenly, I was so shy of his gaze.
“Lo comprerò,” I turned to the shopkeeper.
I paid him, and we moved forward.
“Do you know where Clarke is?” I asked as I took the first bite of the famous spicy Italian sandwich. It was hot.
