Chapter 40

Harry’s POV:

The place was calm. Lanterns were the only source of light. Curtains were flying along the breeze. It was perfect. I didn’t praise Clarke for that. But the place he chose was very good. A whole personal place booked for the two of us, along the River Thames. A shelter covered with lanterns on the inside was the only roof at the top of me. A table and two chairs. Contrasting the whole theme. Intoxicating smell of lavender lingering around.

I was dressed all in black. My suite was also selected by Clarke. I trusted him. Also, after observing the whole arrangement I was actually feeling proud of him.

Sitting on the metal chair, I waited for her. I did imagine a lot, how she would look in a fancy dress. My head snapped, at the car that stopped at some distance. And the back door opened. She appeared from it.
