Chapter 37: Did You Drive Here Yourself?

Nodding his head in agreement, Keith reached out to hold her hand, which was exposed to the wind.

Cathryn's hands were cold because of the blowing wind, and the cold penetrated the palm of his hand, reaching the bottom of his heart. The two of them had been separated for only eight days, he still missed her deeply. They were holding hands, but for some reason, she felt a bit ashamed. She was blushing, and her heart was racing rapidly.

She wanted to withdraw her hand, but Keith held her hand tightly and said, "Let's get to the car. It's too cold outside."

Cathryn nodded quickly, tiptoed up to the car to take a glance, and found the black Bentley parked at the side of the house. When they got into the car, Keith turned up the heater.

She was shivering involuntarily, and her body gradually warmed up. Almost whispering, she asked him, "Did you drive here yourself?"
