Chapter 11: Treyton's Thoughts

Treyton looked at Luciel, who was sleeping peacefully by his side, and couldn't help but chuckle.

After both of them finished their dinner, Luciel arranged all the things they used and put them back downstairs. Knowing that he needed to stay in his room, he went directly to his bed and started playing using his phone. He didn't even care about him at all and played until he slept directly while still in the game.

It seemed that he found a more interesting and suitable lover this time around. Luciel said that he doesn't believe in love, and from the way he acted, he really doesn't have any expectations of him at all.

Treyton always had lovers with him because, as long as he was interested in the person's appearance after investigation and as long as they agreed, he would offer them a generous reward for being with him.

He was also very picky when it came to choosing someone to be his temporary partner. If he was interested in their appearance, no matter how interested he was, he would let someone investigate them first because he doesn't want to be with someone who has already been intimate with other people.

Treyton doesn't like touching what other people have already touched, and he doesn't like others touching what was his. As long as the person was still in a relationship with him, then he could only be his.

He would also respond accordingly and wouldn't be with any other people or look for someone else as long as he was still with someone. After their relationship ended, he wouldn't care about them any longer.

Treyton had the same view as Luciel; he doesn't really believe in love, so he was only seeking a relationship without any emotional attachment. That's why he would always offer a contract with a clear price stated on it.

He would also often change his lovers because of how they developed feelings for him, became too attached to him, caused a lot of trouble, or became very excessive with their demands, which were all annoying.

He knew when his lovers were becoming too attached to him because he wouldn't treat them badly. Most of them had the delusions or hidden expectations that they would be the person who would be able to change his ways and would be the person that would be staying beside him in his lifetime.

However, they were all disappointed, as the shortest relationship he had was only a week, and the longest relationship he had only lasted for six months. No one lasted that long because of their attachments or attitudes.

With all the lovers he had in the past, he could immediately tell how different Luciel was. He could see that he really didn't have any expectations about him at all. He doesn't treat him anything special, even though he was the one giving him money.

His past lovers would always unconsciously treat him better and wouldn't really refuse his request, even if they weren't in the contract. Even those with more arrogance would always be more respectful towards him and would actually follow his wishes. It was especially true when meeting them for the first time.

However, Luciel wasn't like the others; he could see that he wasn't pretending at all and really just treated him as a temporary companion.

Treyton also had a feeling that if Luciel wasn't satisfied with some of his arrangements, then he would just leave, and he also had the ability to do so.

He might have felt it like that because of the slight danger he sensed from Luciel as soon as they met each other downstairs. He sensed something dangerous from Luciel, but it quickly vanished as if it wasn't them to begin with. However, he could tell that Luciel was indeed hiding something.

Luceil immediately knew that he was injured, and when he saw that his bloodied arm or that his injury was caused by a gun, he didn't even react like how normal people reacted. He even removed the bullet from his arm calmly and treated it properly.

Normal people would have reacted a bit flustered or would have been scared seeing his gunshot wound. Normal citizens in society, as long as they aren't part of their profession, wouldn't normally encounter gun wounds, so they would most likely be scared or at least be flustered.

Luciel also said that he just learned it in passing, but he was definitely experienced in treating wounds. He could even sense that Luciel was used to seeing blood, according to his reaction. However, according to the investigation he received about Luciel, he didn't have any work related to anything bloody, as he wasn't even a nurse or a doctor.

According to the investigation, Luciel was just a model, and his studies weren't even related to anything health-related. Even if really learned how to treat wounds they won't teach someone to treat a gunshot wound in any first-aid classes. And even if he learned it, it still couldn't explain how experienced he seemed while treating his wound.

So, Luciel was definitely hiding something, but it seemed that he didn't really care if he found out that he had some inconsistencies as he just acts; however, he wants and could even ignore him completely and just focus on playing some game.

Fortunately, Luciel was obviously a novice when it came to kissing other intimate things, which obviously shows that he wasn't experienced in love affairs. If he was, then he would really doubt the credibility of the investigation report he received.

His reaction of not wanting to just stay passive was even lovely, which just made him want to devour him; unfortunately, he was still injured.

Well, as long as he doesn't do anything that betrays him or anything against society, he could continue hiding what he doesn't want to mention. He could just be his lover, as long as they maintained a relationship without any emotional strings attached.
