Chapter 15: Finally Remembering the Novel

Treyton stayed at the villa to recover from his injury and also because of the abnormal weather.

It rained heavily for three days, and then afterwards it suddenly became very sunny. The temperature kept rising in the past few days.

"Ugh, why is it so hot? What's wrong with the weather?" Luciel grumbled while eating ice cream.

"Unfortunately, they are still looking for the cause of the abnormal weather," Treyton answered while also watching the news.

The news was still broadcasting about the sudden and extreme change in weather all around the world. On the first day, most people didn't dwell on it because they thought that they just got the wrong weather forecast, but after the weather changed again in just three days, most people were already alarmed.

All the meteorologists and other experts involved in studying the weather were all looking for the cause because it would be very bad if the weather continued changing without warning.

The first four days of heavy rain already caused a lot of areas to be flooded, and a lot of crops were damaged.

A lot of people were also getting sick because of the extreme weather changes, which were making people panic.

So all the experts around the world were trying their best to find the cause, while others were also preparing countermeasures if the weather continued to change drastically.

"Ciel, stop eating ice cream. You started eating them early in the morning. How many cups have you eaten already?"

"Don't stop me; this is my only comfort," Luciel said as he kept feeling uneasy because of the weather changes.

In the past two weeks, Treyton and Luciel have gotten along really well. Most of the time, they just did their own thing. He was playing games, reading, or watching movies while Treyton was reading some documents or having a video conference.

Treyton would also accompany him sometimes when he wanted to rest, and most of the time, they watched movies together or just watched some news.

After Treyton was healed, they did the deed, which he also found to be quite enjoyable. He only felt a bit uncomfortable the first time they did it, but afterwards, it was all enjoyable.

After staying with Treyton for the past 2 weeks, he finally put away any thoughts of breaching their contract because he finally confirmed that Treyton doesn't have any extreme hobbies when it comes to their sexual relationship.

He also doesn't require him to be respectful to him, and he doesn't interfere with what he is doing every day.

So, Luciel decided to stay, as he was indeed able to enjoy his life. However, his feeling of unease kept getting stronger along with the extreme change in weather.

"Sir Treyton, they just delivered something you ordered," Nina said while letting the guard enter.

"Treyton, the things you bought from J.C. Jewelry arrived," Zam said while handing the box to Treyton.

After the heavy rain stopped, the bodyguards of Treyton also arrived at the villa. After seeing them, Luceil could see that they weren't just ordinary bodyguards; they were all very skilled. And Zam was the leader of Treyton's bodyguards.

Treyton opened the box and said, "Oh, they're indeed nice."

"What's that?" Luciel asked.

"These are bracelets I bought from J.C. These bracelets are made from some meteorites they finally acquired after bidding for a long time. This one is mine; you can have the other one," Treyton said while putting the bracelet in his hands.

'Oh, this indeed looks nice," Luciel said after looking at the simple yet intricate bracelet in his hands.

The bracelet indeed looks nice, but as soon as he saw it, his uneasiness kept growing stronger.

"By the way, they say that we can see the meteor shower here. Do you want to watch it tonight?"

When he heard what Treyton said, different images flashed through his mind as he recollected what happened in the past few weeks and the names of the people he met. He finally knew why he was getting uneasy about the situation he was in.

He finally remembered the novel he read a few days before he died in his past life. The novel he read was a zombie apocalypse novel.

"Ciel, Ciel, are you listening to me? What's wrong with you?"

When he looked towards Treyton, he could see him behind Zam, and Zam, who was in front of him, was pointing a gun at him.

"Huh? Oh, I'm sorry, I just remembered something," Luciel said, closing his eyes and adjusting his emotions for a bit.

As soon as he remembered that the genre of the novel was a zombie apocalypse, he couldn't help the urge to kill the one who was responsible for letting him into this world.

They should have detected his extreme bloodthirst; that's why Zam became too wary and even pointed a gun at him.

"A meteor shower, right? Then let's have a barbecue party. Let's invite everyone; it's more fun to have more people while watching the meteor shower," Luceil said while smiling.

"Ok, I'll invite more people tonight. Are you okay now?"

"Yes, I'm okay. I'll just go to my room for a bit," Luciel said, going upstairs.

Treyton could finally understand the danger he sensed from Luciel when they first met. Luciel was normally leisurely, and as long as you don't wake him up early and always prepare him some food, he won't show his temper.

He even started doubting the danger he sensed coming from Luciel because he hadn't seen him doing anything dangerous. But now he could finally understand what it was. The bloodthirst he felt and the crazed look he saw when Luciel looked towards him show that he definitely killed someone, and with how strong the bloodthirst he felt, Luciel definitely killed a lot.
