chapter 1: Friendship Blooms

Scene 1:

At Chiang Mai International University, Win, the most popular student, sat in class, waiting for the teacher. He was confident in his ability to make anyone fall head over heels in love with him. When the teacher arrived, Win's eyes landed on the new student, Krit.

Teacher: Hello, students. I'd like you to meet Kritsada, or Krit for short.

Krit: Hi everyone, nice to meet you all.

Teacher: Please sit with Zee. Zee, Win's friend, greeted Krit and asked about his background. Krit shared that he had transferred from a university in London.

Zee: Wow, that's cool! Do you need notes from previous classes?

Krit: Yeah, thanks.

After class, Win approached Zee and asked about Krit. Zee mentioned that Krit seemed innocent and might not have had a boyfriend before. Win's interest was piqued.

Win: I bet I can make him my boyfriend within a month.

Zee: You're on! But if you lose, you have to treat me.

Win: Deal!

Scene 2:

At the corridor, Win approached Krit with a charming smile.

Hey, Krit. I'm Win. I noticed you're new here.

Krit: Yeah, I just transferred from London.

Win: That's awesome! I've always wanted to visit London. Maybe you can tell me more about it sometime?

Krit: Sure, I'd love to.

Win: So, Krit, what do you think of our university so far?

Krit: It's really beautiful here. I love the campus.

Win: Yeah, it's definitely one of the best in Thailand. Do you have any favorite subjects?

Krit: I'm really interested in business and marketing.

Win: No way! I'm studying business too. We should totally study together sometime.

Krit: That sounds great. I could use some help understanding the material.

Win: Definitely. I'll give you my number, and we can meet up sometime.

So they exchanged numbers, Win couldn't help but notice how cute Krit looked when he smiled. He was determined to make Krit his boyfriend within the month. Meanwhile, Zee was watching from afar, shaking his head. "

Scene 3:

At class, Krit was writing a novel at his desk when Win came over.

Win: Hey, dude!

Krit didn't respond properly, so Win asked again.

Win: Hey!! Why are you ignoring me?

Krit: Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to do that.

Win: Oh, it's okay. By the way, what are you doing?

Krit: I'm writing a novel. It's my passion.

Win: That sounds great! Someday, please lend it to me, okay?

Krit: Sure.

Krit looked at Win, and suddenly, they both asked:

(Krit: Win!, Win: Krit!)

Win: You go first.

Krit: You go first.

Win: Okay then. So, I was asking, how did you get interested in writing?

Krit: Ah, it's a long story. I started writing because of my first love.

Win: How come? Can you please tell me the whole story?

Krit: Yeah, but it's time for class now. So, I'll give you a brief summary.

Win: Sure!

Krit: I was smitten with a boy who was the leader of our school gang. His name was Tan, and he had a reputation for being quite crude, but I couldn't help the way I felt. One day, their gang came to our class and announced that they were organizing a trip and anyone interested should meet with Tan at 3:00 pm the day after tomorrow. I was over the moon at the prospect of finally talking to him and spent the entire night rehearsing my introduction.

When the day arrived, I rushed to school and waited anxiously for the class to end. My best friend, Type, noticed my excitement and asked what was wrong. I downplayed it, saying I was just a bit thrilled about the trip. Then, Tan approached me and asked me to come with him. I was taken aback that he even knew I existed! I followed him, and he handed me a form to fill out. I complied without question, still in shock that he was talking to me. Then, he curtly said, "Get out now, your errand is complete." I was stunned, but I had no idea what was in store for me next. I was just ecstatic that he had spoken to me.

On the day of the trip, we sat together, and I was on cloud nine that he was sitting with me. He talked to me, and I was hanging on his every word.

During the trip, we spent quality time together and became inseparable friends. After the trip, he took our friendship to the next level by proposing to me and asking me to be his boyfriend. I agreed without hesitation, and we were in a blissful relationship for 3 months. As fate would have it, the last day of the month coincided with my birthday, and he planned a grand party that left me overwhelmed with emotion.

However, as I was standing near the washroom, I overheard him talking to his friend, and what I heard left me feeling utterly betrayed. He said, "I won the bet!" His friend asked, "What bet?" Tan replied, "I told you I could make Krit my boyfriend within a month!" His friend laughed and said, "You're such a player!" Tan responded, Hey, it was just a challenge. But now that I've got him, I don't know if I want to let him go.

I felt like I had been punched in the gut, and my world came crashing down around me. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I felt used and manipulated, like a pawn in his game. I didn't know what to do or how to process my emotions. I was torn between confronting him and walking away. But one thing was for sure - I deserved better than to be treated like a bet.

Win: "So, I still feel bad about what happened."

Krit: "It's the reason I transferred from London."

Win: "You studied school in London?"

Krit: "Yeah, I did."

Win: "I'm so sorry to hear that you went through that. It must have been really tough for you."

Krit: Hmm, yeah. It was a difficult time. But anyway, can you please go back to your seat now?

Win: Okay, okay, I'm going. But hey, do you know why Tan isn't coming to school?

Krit: No, I don't know. Maybe he's ill or something.

Krit: Just go back to your seat, Win.

As Win walked back to his seat, he couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. He had really fallen for Krit, and it was hard for him to accept that Krit didn't feel the same way. He thought to himself, "I was so blind, I didn't realize my feelings for him until it was too late." He sighed and sat down, trying to focus on the lesson, but his mind kept wandering back to Krit.

Meanwhile, Krit was trying to focus on the lesson as well, but he couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. He was still hurt from the past, but at the same time, he was trying to move on. He thought to himself, "I need to forget about the past and focus on my future. I deserve better than someone who doesn't appreciate me." He took a deep breath and tried to concentrate on the lesson, but he couldn't help but sneak a glance at Win, who looked visibly upset.

Just then, the teacher walked in with a new student, who turned out to be Type, Krit's friend. The teacher introduced him to the class and instructed him to sit with me. I was taken aback and overwhelmed with emotion as I gazed at Type's familiar face.

Type : Hey, dude! Long time no see!

I was taken aback

Krit: How come you're here?

Type : Dude, I missed you so much! I was also worried sick about you after that incident. Ever since then, I've been constantly worried about you.

I was touched by Type's concern and felt a mix of emotions - shock, happiness, and relief. It was a reunion I never expected, and I was thrilled to have my friend back by my side. We exchanged warm smiles, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for our friendship. As we caught up on old times, I realized that sometimes life brings unexpected surprises, and this reunion was a testament to the power of friendship.
