Author's pov

Enzo's words kept echoing in Tiara's mind, *"You should be more careful. This place is not safe for a girl."* She had to admit, for once, he was right. Tiara knew the neighborhood wasn't the safest. Situated near the slums, it was rough around the edges, with crime not being unusual. Still, she had always felt somewhat secure knowing that the elderly couple next door, who were in their 70s, were warm and kind. But beyond them, Tiara didn't know anyone else well.

After the long, tiring bike ride and the emotional whirlwind caused by Enzo's controlling behavior, Tiara finally let out a sigh of relief as she walked into her quiet home. This space was hers, her sanctuary from the chaos of her life. Here, she didn't have to answer to anyone or feel suffocated by Enzo's possessive nature.
