In the Dietri Dukedom gardens, Dion and Ye Jin walked side by side along a path lined with various flowers. This was unusual behavior, not only because of the kind of master-and-slave relationship they shared but also because Dion hardly ever walked. He was known for using his mist to transport himself wherever he wished, except in places where mana could not be used, like the palace.

Dion's behavior surprised Ye Jin. She had expected him to teleport away as usual after their training session. But today, he had asked her to join him for a walk.

"It's just to relax the muscles," he had said, his tone calm as if he hadn't done something so out of character.
