"Greetings reader my name is Nancy, The Storyteller Spider, but during our conversation we will stick with Nancy. I am speaking to you beyond the narrative itself, explanations will come along with the chapters as the narration of the protagonist goes on. Questions about who I am as well what I have to offer or even if I'm gonna appear in the story will also be revealed soon, whoever is reading this, thank you for sparing 15 minutes of your time to read this tale. Having settled the long talk, let's begin reading the tales of Yukito, the boy who transcended the narrative:"
(Scene cuts and blackens to the narration of Yukito)
Hello there my name is "Yukito Sasaki", I am a Japanese boy around 18-20 years old to be precise, I live in the state of Minnesota with my little sister Himeno. My whole life was pretty much normal to me at least, I had school time, friends, and played video games like every teen, pretty much. My actual story is pretty boring, I was found as a baby inside a basket in front of an orphanage's door. None ever understood from where I came from but they knew I was special among all kids not just for my weird abilities but also because of my intelligence and it was thanks to that I got adopted by the Sasaki Family when I was just 5 years old. I think my family never actually loved me as their child but were just interested in my skills but I don't blame them since they gave me food and shelter
Now to talk about myself and what I do well...I have the power to control the narrative and the plot itself. When I was just 16 years old I created what I like calling "inferior narrative" or the "fake web", basically a world that exists below mine, and in that world I made a self-insert of myself in which I used to live many adventures, make new friends and even have the nice family I never had at all—using my powers many times to not only save my home and friends but also to save the universe. I might be young but I have done so many things, more than I can count, if I had to name all the adventures I had and all the things I did then I would probably stay days and days speaking about them. I think the most interesting adventure in my stories, was crossing and exploring the multiverses, and some realms that exist above the mortal plane. In all my adventures, I always tried to be a hero, willing to save innocents from evil and save worlds from destruction. I think most people if they had those powers would probably use them to change their lives for the better like becoming rich, famous, or the most influential person in the world. But as for me I think differently, I'm not attached to material things made by mankind, I like to use my powers to make myself the protagonist of my own story
Well, I am almost reaching the interesting part so I will start speaking of that time I discovered my universe and even the multiverse, the entire existence was just some kind of... fictional work being written by meta entities, and for some reason I was the only one who could feel it, maybe because of my powers. By using my powers I tried to see what existed beyond the multiverse itself and it was when I saw "webs" above my reality, as if my world was some kind of page or a story written by someone. That was the first time I ascended the narrative I was in and reached a different layer where weird creatures were staring at me, they seemed to be some kind of Crystallized Spiders or something like that. I was shocked from seeing all of that and still not understanding what I was doing, imagine one day you're just a person minding your own business and then you discover your entire existence is a story. There are many things to process and honestly, I wish I could have asked them who they were or what they were to be precise. My theory is that they were some kind of entities writing the story I was in, but if that was the case they could have shut me down which didn't happen, they just kinda stood there staring at me with dead silence.
"Uhm....hello I uh....My name is Yukito...who are you guys?"
I asked them in a tone of confusion, I was clearly nervous but I tried to keep my composure
"...."
That's all I got from them, dead weird silence, and nothing else, I tried asking If they had a boss or who created them, and where they came from. Again no words came from them but one of them pointed towards a door which said "exit", it didn't answer my questions but since I was already there I could as well go and explore the weird place I was in so I walked towards the door and opened it, and when I entered I found myself in a weird realm completely different from the one I was before, I can describe it as a grassland place with a dense dark fog around, and in the distance, I could see a big white tower whose size could reach beyond the skies although it was impossible to look at the "sky" or even try to see until where the tower could reach because when looking up all you can see is a white dark mist covering the entire sky as a whole and not allowing you to see anything else beyond it like if it was blocking the view. Either way, I had very few options and the only thing I could do at that moment was make my way towards the strange tower in the distance. While I was making my trip to it, I couldn't help but realize how silent the place was, It did seem like someone hadn't come here for a while but I tried to ignore the details and just kept walking to reach the tower.
When reaching my destiny and passing through the door, I found myself in a weird room, I can shortly describe it being a small room made of black bricks and it seemed like no one stepped in there for ages, it had dust on the corners as well. Confusion took control over me as I circled through the room to see if there was anything else to look at, while exploring the room I noticed that every time I turned my back to a corner of the room and looked back, the room was somewhat different like if the room was changing with my presence. The sudden possibility that the room's behavior could be possibly due to my powers, I had the idea to aim my hands up and focus to do anything, and to my surprise, the room started changing with my thoughts molding it, somewhat becoming larger than it was and the black bricks now turning into white instead. When looking behind there was something different now in the room, I could see a white table and a white chair in the middle of the room and there was a book over it, also white as well
Someone could say one of my biggest weaknesses is my curiosity, I was already there so I thought to myself - "Why not". I walked towards the table and sat just to open the book and realize the pages were completely white and empty, every single page was empty which made me feel confused again of why that book was even there, to begin with, but I didn't let a small issue become an obstacle and soon an idea came into my head - "If I can change the room, can I make information appear out of nowhere in this book?". And so I closed the book and my eyes together and I wished for the book to have every single information I needed including knowledge about everything that exists. When opening the book again to my surprise the first pages were showing me the entire universe as a whole and I could see from it everything, my world, and old home were entirely inside a page and not just my home but even the past and present, when leafing the pages I could also see the fourth dimension and something humanity was fighting to understand, the very CONCEPT of time itself was also, inside a page too
Leafing even more I discovered not just one universe but endlessly other universes in constant balance, one not knowing the other existed, I assumed what I was seeing to be probably the multiverse as I remember studying about alternative realities and different worlds, theories humanity could not prove right before me. Each universe was different in a certain way, with its own story and narrative being told. It seemed like the universe I was in, was somewhat the center multiverse, just like a tree and the rest of the universe its branches, representing every single decision people didn't make, they did somewhere, and thus from every new decision, a new universe would be weaved. Earth Prime which is the name I will give for that universe, had a massive importance to the multiverse, with its demise the other universes would fall together so it seemed like the origin of every single story
There was also a drawing showing the entire fictional stack as a whole and it looked like a tree, what I believe the Judaism mythology called "Kabbalah", the tree contained not just one fictional branch which included the one with my world but many other branches on it. The page had a small reference text calling the tree to be some kind of entity named "Terra". From what I can remember of my history classes, Terra was a Roman deity from the Roman pantheon, believed to be the embodiment of the planet, universe, and possibly Life itself as a whole.
When I remembered I placed the book with every single piece of information and knowledge, I could finally get the answers I needed so I asked the book to show me who were the weird spiders entities that I met before and the book opened a page talking about them. From what I could understand they are called "The Editors", basically metaphysical beings residing in the higher layers of the narrative, they are some kind of authors who write and mold the entire existence to their will and script, transcending not just the entire Kabbalah but every single realm, dimension, concept of existence who are tied to Kabbalah. They are pseudo "gods" who shift existence and adapt everything to their will. Leafing more through the pages I found texts speaking about a being called "The Storyteller Spider", an entity who spawned and created The Editors being somewhat their boss and god, this being possibly the "God of Stories" and the being who controls every single story possible. Assuming this weird entity could have the answers to my questions, I decided to get up grabbing the book together to prepare myself for the next trip, to meet up with this god of stories, The Storyteller Spider. As I was preparing to leave the strange room I was, I noticed there was no door anymore for me to leave, like if it just disappeared.
"Can this be another change of the shifting room?"
I wondered while inspecting again the walls, It was when I had the idea to touch the walls to see if I could spawn a door there and for my surprise the bricks started changing and shaping to form a door for me. Upon leaving the tower, I started walking while reading the book to find possible ways to reach and talk with this "Storyteller Spider" who was responsible for my entire existence probably. During my trip I noticed an forest in the distance, well hidden by the dense dark fog of the place. The book also had some kind of map pointing my current location and where the forest would lead so It was easy guiding myself through it while the raft was starting to navigate through the weird waters. As I was reading through the book's pages, I realized there was an "moon" above me, somehow starring at me
I tried not pay too much attention into it and started making my way towards what seemed to be the DARK FRONTIER. While I didn't had any lantern with me to light my path, I still managed to light my path using my own narrative in the format of an glowing sphere. My own stories were the only thing I had with me to ensure I would not get lost in the dense empty canvas of the Dark Frontier. The darkness was extremely dangerous and tricky, any false step could result on a unpredictable fate that I surely wasn't willed to risk, while walking through the pitch darkness, I could see nothing around me anymore. No stories or narratives, all I could see here was the pitch empty canvas. But I knew was I safe as long I held my hopes and dreams with me, my only source of light being my creativity and imagination, and the strong desire to met this unknown entity to find out why they had created me. After hours walking through the canvas, I saw a hole above me with a ladder on it. Following my instincts, I started to climb the ladder till I arrived on what seemed to be a empty and big white room with nothing. When looking down, the hole was gone, probably pointing I had finally transcended the Dark Frontier. While trying to look around, all I could see was the white room with literally nothing around me. I tried to look further and yet I could not see anything
I called out for Moon, but there was no response. It seemed like I was truly alone in that place. Suddenly, a mysterious voice greeted me, saying it had been waiting for my arrival. I demanded to know who was there and to show itself. When I turned around, I was startled to see a massive titanic spider standing before me. The spider remarked that I had improved since leaving home, acknowledging that my narration was not the greatest, but at least it was something. Shocked, I asked if it could hear my thoughts and narration. The spider, or Nancy as it introduced itself, confirmed that it could. I then inquired if it was the Storyteller Spider mentioned in the book I had found, which he ended up confirming my question. Nancy then transformed into a humanoid form to accommodate me. I then demanded to know who it truly was and if it was some sort of joke. Nancy claimed to be the spider of stories, or the storyteller spider. When I asked if he was "God", Nancy clarified that it was not the one humans knew, but if I wanted to put it that way, it was fine. I pressed further, wanting to know exactly what it was. Nancy explained it had woven the entire stack of stories and existence, creating everything from boundaries to life itself. This place was named "True Narrative", the highest fictional layer Nancy had woven. It was when he began to explain the origin of the story, how everything came to existence.
Once upon a time, there only had a dense empty canvas with nothing on it. The world as we knew was boring and with lack of colors, it was when Nancy created entities known as "Aracnometas", the first and true authors who together with Nancy, had woven the true upper narrative world above Kabbalah and thus creating the first stack of fiction. Nancy then paused a bit before proceeding to explain about my existence and how I was created
"You were never trapped Yukito, no one was controlling you. In fact you were the only character who was 100% in control of their own actions this whole time, while others were following the scripts of the editors, you made your own script and character, you constructed yourself alone"
It was on his explanation I finally learned who I was and what was my purpose. An Aracnometa created special from the others, I was inserted in the main narrative for one single purpose, understand the true meaning of all stories. You see, Aracnometas lack emotions and feelings, writing for the sake of the story, they do what they just because is their role. But I was special, I could understand how a human could feel, because I had lived as one and I could see through their perspective how life can be, the obstacles that appears and how hard it can be. I could think like them and understand their emotion, and this factor was the thing that made me special. In the beginning I didn't understood why Mr. Nancy created the Aracnometas if he could have done everything himself alone, he had the power for it but I was missing the whole point of his philosophy. I soon understood the reason; Everything is more fun when people shares their ideas and gathers them together with other's ideas to create the bests stories. Every work has an message the author desires to pass to the readers, the message Mr. Nancy wanted to pass here is that with a bit of creativity, effort, and imagination someone is already capable to create and build different types of stories, and that's exactly the message he was trying to pass on this webnovel, the "Tales we Weave" or stories we create together. I had finally understood my purpose, my role and the meaning of weaving stories full of colors and joy. The message I wanna pass is that, if you try to write a story, you shouldn't just put your brain to let it control the pencil, but also our your heart together with your head to use both to write. Stories aren't meant to be something colorless, but something joyful and fun, something that can entertain the readers and whoever is reading this right now. Never forget what's more important when writing something, is not about "needing", but about just having fun writing what you love be it a poem, narrative, story or whatever pops in your head
And is with this message I conclude this chapter and how I made my journey from the lowest narrative to the upper one, finally knowing my purpose. I know what I need to do now; to spread my knowledge and what I learned to every Aracnometa, and change the concept of writing. For whoever is reading this, thank you for following me till here and I hope you had at least liked not just my narrative but what I learned. I might not be perfect but I know what's necessary to build a good writing after this whole journey, and is with this knowledge I will help to improve not just Kabbalah but the whole True Narrative. Thank you yet again for being here with me, this is your guest Yukito shutting down the transmission and if I haven't said this yet; Good-Morning, Good-Evening, and Goodnight fellow readers.
