First Meet
Jennifer was back at her room, the nurse came with her and keep frowning. She said to Jennifer, " Miss, did you really blackmail me with that lollipop? How is that possible, I clearly saw a knife."
Jennifer laughed out loud and said, " Nurse, I was just trying to trick you and you successfully went for it. You are stupid. Now go, let me rest."
Back when she went to the park with the nurse, a little boy around 5 years old was stting alone on a bench. Jennifer went to him and sat beside him. At that moment, her nurse and the boy's nurse started to talk to each other. So, they didn't give attention to their respective patients. The boy was holding a loilipop in his hand and was staring at that as he was frowning. Jennifer found him cute and asked him curiously, "Why are you staring at this like that? Is it beacuse you want to eat it but you are not allowed?"
The boy looked at jennifer and frowned again, " I am allowed to eat but I don't eat these stuffs. But, I can't throw it."
Jennifer was confused as she asked, " Then?"
The boy stated at Jennifer for a while and gave her that lollipop, " Miss, please take this and do whatever you want with this.", then the boy called out his nurse and started running.
The nurse suddenly remembered about the park incident and figured out where the loillipop came from. She gave Jennifer a side eye and left. Jennifer lay on the bed and he was staring at the ceiling. A lot of things were running in her mind.
" Mrs. Selina Philips was my mother's friend. My dad never told me about this. Didn't he know that? Definately, he didn't know that. Cause, when I asked my father how to meet with Edward Phillips, he never mentioned that. So, he didn't know that. What would have happened that my mother and Selina's relationship got bad!"
Jennifer was restless, she couldn't sleep at all. She wanted to know what could have happened. How hard she tried to meet with Edward, but she couldn't. Now, just in two days, everything seems so possible. This time, she will not make any mistake. She has to be a part of Edward's life.
The time for the operation was near. The nurse were ready to take Jennifer to the OT. But, Selina Philips and Edward's father Robbin Philips came and they took Jennifer to the ICU where Edward was fighting for his life. Jennifer was stunned for a moment. This man, always appeared with a powerful aura. She has always seen him on TV or social media. He looked so handsome and charming. It would be a lie if she says that she doesn't have any feelings for this man. She always had a crush on Edward. Now,here is their first meet. She is seeing him for the first time in front of her and in this condition, Jennifer was very heart broken. She kept looking at Edwards face with blank eyes. Severe injuries were there on his body and so many pipes and equipments were attached with his body. Anyone can say that his condition is very painful. Jennifer's eyes darkened as she thought, " This was definitely not any accident. This was all planned. Who could have done this vicious thing with him. "
Selina interrupt her thoughts as she said, " Jennifer, here is my son. You are going to give your kidney to him. Once he wakes up and finds out that what you did for him, you will see how much he will take care of you. My son is a very good child. He is one in a Million." Selina became emotional and started to cry. Robbin Philips hold her and patted her back. He looked at Jennifer and said, " Jennifer, don't worry dear. We promise you that nothing will happen to you. Aunt and Uncle is there for you. Be strong, kid."

Jennifer was laying on the bed inside the Operation theatre. Doctors were surrounding her. She should feel nervous. But to her surprise, she was not feeling nervous or scared. All she was feeling is sad. She was not sure why she is feeling so sad. Thoughts were gathering up her mind and brain, " Why I am so sad? Is it because I saw him finally? Or, is it because I saw him in that condition? What would have happen if my operation went wrong. What would happen to him if anything goes wrong?"
She kept thinking about his future but she never realise that she was not thinking about her at all. At that time, all she was concerned about Edward. She thought to herself, " No, Jenny. Don't be sad. Be positive. You will be fine. And he will be fine too. You have to be fine because you have to protect him. From now on, I will protect him at any cost."

Edward opened his eyes slowly. His body was fully numb. He could feel that things were not in good condition. He was out of danger now, so he was not in need of oxygen mask. As he opened his eyes, his vision was not clear. But he knew that his mother was sitting beside him. He called out, " Mom". Selina looked at Edward and he was looking at her with a calm face. Selina became restless and begun to shout, " Edward, you are awake. Doctor! Doctor! My son is awake." Edward tried to sit up but he felt a weird pain in his right side waist. Selina hurriedly hold him, " Don't wake up. Lay down." He still sat up and as he sattled himself with this pain. He was very fit and he took special training to protect himself for years. So, he was already very strong and he could recover from any injury soon. He pointed at his waste and asked Selina, " What happened here?"
Selina was about to say something but the doctors and nurses came into the room. The doctors checked him up and everything was fine. Edward asked one of the doctor, " what happened to my waist?"
The doctor was not sure what to say so he looked at Selina. Edward noticed that and said in a cold voice, " Doctor, just tell me."
The doctor said, " Mr. Philips, you had an accident. And your one of the kidney got damaged because of the injury. We had to transplant that kidney urgently. Now, you are totally fine."
Edward nodded his head and ordered them all to get out. Just when the doctors were all out, Selina went to Edwerd and patted his head, " I know my son is so strong. But, now you have to listen to Mom and take rest, okay? "
Edward was used to his mother's affections. He was already a 26 years old man, but his mother still treats him as a 5 year old child. Edward just smiled at his mother and assured her. Selina came out of the room by saying, " Mom is coming back in a moment okay?"
Selina called one of the nurse and asked her, "What about Jennifer? Haven't she wake up yet?" The nurse told her, " Miss Adam's condition is not very clear to the doctors. She should be awaken by this time." Lina came running towards Selina and asked, " Aunt, Edward wake up?" Selina told the nurse to go and turned to Lina. She asked her in a cold tone, " Lina, what's happening? Why Jennifer is not awake yet? Are you hiding something from me?"
" Aunt, Jennifer's operation was successful and she is out of danger. Sometimes, it happens that patient take longer time to wake up. It can happen because of the stress during opertion. She just donated her kidney. She might be very much stressed.", Lina said in a calm tone and assured Selina.
" So my donor is not awake yet?", a voice came from behind. Both Selina and Lina were shocked hearing that voice and they both looked behind at once. Both of their jaw dropped as they saw a very tall and handsome man in hospital pajamas was standing there leaning on the door, folding his arms and straight up looking at their faces.
Selina hurriedly went to him and said, " Edward, what are you doing here? You should rest!"
Lina also went to him and said, " Edward, you shouldn't stand or walk now, please you have to rest."
Edward looked at both the women in front of him. He always found them very noisy. His mother always treats him like a child. And, there is Lina, who is really irritating. Now, from their conversation, it seems like that his donor is also a woman.Suddenly, he was feeling so helpless. But, he maintained his composure. Edward looked at Selina and said after some seconds, " Mom, tell them to arrange a wheel chair for me, I will go see my donor. "
