She was going to suicide. But her fate was not to kill herself but to save his life. He was in need of an urgent kidney transplantation. Only her kidney matched and she donated it to him. His parents wanted to adopt her because of her sacrifice. But, in exchange of her sacrifice, she asked him to marry her. People thought her to be a gold digger but he always pampered her. Only she knew that she married him for a reason.

Jennifer closed her eyes as Edward gently kissed on her lips. She felt like all her pain were gone and she was in a safe embrace.

Edward caressed her cheeks to calm her. She looked at Edward with a pitiful gaze. She seemed to be still angry with him. She hit on his shoulder and cried, " You...you are a liar. You said you will protect me but you didn't came to me. He hit me and I fall, now I am bleeding"

Edward hold her face and asked her with a calm tone, " Who did that?"

Jennifer pouted as she said, " That boy, but I hit him first. I thought that was you."
