# Chapter 140: A Lolicon After All

In a pink room with pink wallpaper, sparsely furnished but functional, Haibara Ai sat on a bed in the corner. Wrapped in a heart-patterned blanket, she rubbed her head, trying to recall the last memory before she blacked out.

Looking down, she noticed she was now dressed in a panda-themed, fluffy pajama set, complete with a white fluffy tail and panda ears on the hood. The pajamas smelled new, adding to her confusion.

She was puzzled, trying to piece together what had happened. Someone must have bathed her since she smelled of fresh soap. Her mind raced, remembering the man who found her. A lolicon, she thought in despair, wishing she had never woken up.

"Feeling better?" A gentle female voice interrupted her thoughts.

Ai looked up to see a beautiful woman standing in the doorway, holding a cup of red sugar water.

"Sister?!" Ai exclaimed, confused.

"Sister?" the woman repeated, surprised. "You were calling for your sister in your sleep."

Ai was momentarily stunned, recognizing similarities to her own sister, though the woman had black hair and eyes, unlike her sister's. She wondered if the resemblance was just a coincidence.

"Drink this; it might help you feel better," the woman said, handing Ai the cup. "My brother found you lying in a puddle; you might have caught a chill."

So, it was her brother who found me, Ai thought, feeling a bit more at ease. She sipped the warm liquid, feeling comforted.

"Thank you," she mumbled.

"No problem," the woman smiled. "But you should thank my brother; he brought you here."

"Miss Akemi, dinner is ready," Fujino called, entering the room. Ai looked up, eyes narrowing at him suspiciously.

Fujino chuckled at Ai's intense gaze, feeling a bit unfair. If he had brought the drink, Ai would probably think he had drugged it.

"Would you like to join us for dinner?" Akemi asked. "Fujino is quite a good cook."

"I should get back to my relatives; they'll worry," Ai replied, though her stomach growled, betraying her hunger.

"You're still weak; eat something before you go," Akemi insisted, smiling.

"Sorry to trouble you," Ai murmured, embarrassed as she stood, wincing from a pain in her backside. She realized it was from the injection.

"You had a high fever; I gave you a shot to bring it down," Fujino explained, seeing her confusion.

Ai's face flushed with embarrassment, realizing he had indeed seen her in a vulnerable state.

Later, in Fujino's room on the fourth floor, they sat around a dining table laden with delicious food. Ai, still in her panda pajamas, felt out of place but began to eat.

"So, were you staying with your sister?" Akemi asked gently.

"My sister is dead," Ai replied flatly, causing an awkward silence.

"Did you help me change into these clothes, Miss Akemi?" Ai asked, trying to change the subject.

"Actually, you were already wearing them when my brother brought you home," Akemi said, glancing at Fujino.

"I had to buy you new clothes since your old ones were soaked," Fujino added, pointing to the bags of new clothes on the sofa.

Ai's heart sank further, her face turning red with a mix of embarrassment and anger. This man had indeed seen her in that state. Her mind reeled with thoughts, struggling to accept the situation.

"Thank you," she finally muttered, feeling defeated.

Thus, Ai found herself in an unusual yet oddly comforting situation, trying to navigate her emotions and the strange new environment she was now part of.
