Above the deck of a huge pirate ship, tension hung in the air.
"Boss, we've been wandering around this sea for a week, and we haven't found even a trace of Marco!" one pirate complained.
"Damn it, this barren sea… If he wants to hide from us and tire us out, then we won't find him!" another grumbled.
"That's right, boss. How injured do you think Marco is? He's the first mate of the Whitebeard Pirates. Even if we find him, will we have to wait for Captain Jack to arrive before we act?"
A group of pirates discussed Marco, each one burly and muscular. However, when they mentioned Marco, there was a hint of caution on their rugged faces. It wasn't that they were timid; it was simply that Marco had fought in the Marineford War and was renowned for his strength!
"You cowards! You are truly a disgrace to our crew of the Beast Pirates! If Captain Jack hears your words, I fear you will be tossed into the sea to feed the fish!"
"Let me tell you, even if Captain Jack isn't here, we can still take Marco! He's already seriously injured, and I'm afraid he has lost most of his combat strength! Besides, Blackbeard wouldn't dare spread false rumors to us; he knows the consequences of angering Captain Kaido!"
The pirate known as the boss, standing tall at six or seven meters, had a voice that resembled thunder. His face was vicious, revealing his identity as Dressk, the right-hand man of Drought Jack in the Hundred Beasts Pirate Crew. He was famous in the New World, with a bounty of 650 million!
For the Hundred Beasts Pirates, from the Mammoth fleet, Dressk was the most powerful subordinate under Drought Jack!
Dressk grinned and licked his lips, "If we capture Marco alive, it will be an endless treasure! And there will be enchanting and sexy women! Who wouldn't want to fight for Whitebeard's legacy?"
"Catch Marco, and we'll be rich! We'll have wealth, women, and perhaps even Captain Kaido's favor!"
"Hahahaha!"
At the mention of wealth and women, the pirates licked their lips and burst into raucous laughter!
"Boss, I see Marco?!!"
Suddenly, one of the pirates on lookout duty shouted.
"Marco?!" Dressk exclaimed, both surprised and thrilled. He quickly ordered, "Chase after him immediately! We must not let him escape this time!"
"Boss…!"
"What?"
"We don't have to chase after him. Marco… he's flying directly towards us!"
Rumble!
The moment the sonic boom erupted, a cone-shaped blue pillar of flame streaked down from the sky, instantly demolishing the observation tower into debris. The fragments shot down into the sea, causing explosive splashes that stirred up waves. The pirates above didn't have time to react; they were blasted away, along with the debris, plunging into the water!
Whoosh!
In the wake of the explosion, a young man with enormous flame wings measuring over ten meters long descended from the sky. As the blue flames dissipated, Marco's face came into view for everyone on deck.
Marco recognized the pirate flag with the sharp horns in the distance belonging to the Hundred Beasts Pirates!
"immortal phoenix Marco!"
Dressk glared at Marco as he landed on the opposite side of the bow, a vicious expression on his face. "I've been searching for you for a long time!"
"Searching for me?" Marco replied in a calm voice. "I don't recall knowing a character like you from the Hundred Beasts Pirates."
Dressk's face twitched in anger. "You're delusional!"
"I truly didn't know you existed…" Marco admitted. He hadn't noticed Dressk's presence in the original material—perhaps he hadn't paid enough attention to the comics. However, he added, "But that's fine. Soon… you won't exist anymore!"
Roar!
Dressk let out an enraged roar and charged toward Marco, his enormous fists raised high, ready to deliver a powerful blow!
"The boss is furious! What terrifying strength!" one pirate exclaimed.
"With that kind of violent attack, I'm afraid few could withstand it!" another added.
As Dressk charged toward Marco, the entire massive pirate ship trembled under the force of his presence!
The fierce wind from his punch and the enormous shadow cast by Dressk enveloped Marco, whipping his clothes around him. Marco raised his fist and punched back at Dressk!
Boom!
The two fists collided fiercely. In that instant, a circle of ripples expanded through the air, sending shockwaves that shook the entire pirate ship, which creaked ominously and churned the surrounding water into waves!
"What?!!?"
The next moment, the pirates on the ship stood in shock, expressions of disbelief on their faces!
They witnessed Dressk's massive body being sent flying, crashing into the cabin and scattering countless fragments in all directions!
"It's clear he was not a powerful character."
Marco stood unharmed in place, his fists clenched, speaking to himself. Unless it involved one of the two who had yet to appear among the three major disasters, he could definitely remember the powerful characters that had appeared in the Hundred Beasts Pirates!
Upon hearing Marco's words, the pirates on that ship turned crimson with embarrassment…!
