Log Horizon Universe, Earth, Japan, Tokyo.
In another version of Tokyo, in the Hachioji Ward, a young woman sat in front of her computer, and playing her favorite MMORPG, Elder Tales. This young lady was a twenty-year-old student attending Yamazaki University of Animal Nursing. Though, if one were to lay their eyes on her, they would see nothing more than a girl in middle school.
In fact, she was an extremely petite girl, no taller than 4'11" tall with exquisite features that made her look like a doll, long black hair tied into a ponytail, and purple eyes. And because she was getting comfortable in her bedroom for a night of gaming, she was wearing a set of cute, bright green pajamas.
"Hey, Shizuka-Neesan, are you there?" A young woman's voice sounded from the other side of the bedroom door.
"Yeah, what is it, Hibiki?" The purple-eyed young woman, Shizuka, or Hanekura Shizuka, replied without looking away from her computer screen.
"Did you already take Myojo out already?" The second young lady, Shizuka's younger sister, Hibiki, asked. "If you haven't, I'm gonna let him out in the backyard."
"Don't worry about it, I took him out earlier." Shizuka replied.
"Okay, if you say so." Hibiki said as she turned away from the door to return to her own bedroom. "Just don't stay up too late playing your game. You have class tomorrow."
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Shizuka replied. "Stop nagging me."
"I just want to make sure that my little sister's grades don't start dropping because she's too busy playing games."
"Shut up, Hibiki~~~!" Shizuka shouted in an annoyed tone.
"Hahaha!" Hibiki's amused laughter drifted from down the hall.
Despite being younger than Shizuka, Hibiki has always been taller than her older sister, and has often been mistaken for being the older sibling. Even now, Hibiki was almost four inches taller than Shizuka. So, to tease Shizuka, Hibiki sometimes calls Shizuka her younger sister.
"That brat." Shizuka mumbled while focusing on her game. "Just wait, I'll get her back one day."
Despite her words, there was no heat in her tone. Playing her assassin character in the game was more important than plotting revenge at the moment. However, she was not even allowed to enjoy the game she was playing, as a pop-up appeared right in the center of her screen.
"Oh, you can't be serious." Shizuka groaned. "If I die and lose my Level 90, I'm going to break this computer."
Reacting quickly as she spoke, Shizuka pressed a few keys on her keyboard to switch her game from full screen to windowed mode. Then, she moved her mouse to close the pop-up window. However, as she hovered the mouse over the "X" to close it, she froze when she read what the window said.
{Would you like to make friends who won't make fun of you for your diminutive size?
Okay, let's be honest, that's probably impossible.
But they would never mistake you for, or treat you like, a child.
If you're interested, join the [Dimensional Chat] and meet people from all over the multiverse.
Would you like to join the [Dimensional Chat]?
[Yes]/[No]}
"Is this a joke?" Shizuka asked in a dumbfounded tone. "Who could have possibly sent this? And how could they know anything about me? And a [Dimensional Chat]? What is this, a fan fic?"
While speaking, Shizuka wanted to close the pop-up window and be done with it. Yet, for some reason, she could not bring herself to do so. She then decided she could think about it a little later, as the image in the Elder Tales window was blinking red, signifying that her character was taking damage. And when she saw the damage figures rising from her character's head, she quickly killed the monster she was fighting before logging out.
"Seriously, just what the hell am I doing?" Shizuka asked herself as she hovered her mouse over the [Yes] button for almost five minutes. "I have no doubt this is some kind of prank. But why are my instincts telling me that my life could change for the better if I accept?"
In the end, after struggling with herself for a while, Shizuka eventually clicked yes. Then, a new chat application began installing itself on her computer. At the same time, a screen popped up in her field of view, as if it appeared directly in front of her retinas.

Tatsuo (Admin): I'll be back after I have something to eat and talk to her about some stuff I found out while I was on the mission
Tatsuo (Admin): See you guys later
Tatsuo (Admin): Oh, and Lici, Sumire-San
Tatsuo (Admin): Can you take care of explaining things to the newbie? K Thanks Bye}
And although it sounded like an excuse, Tatsuo was actually completely serious about his mother calling him to eat. Though, because of his timing, it looked like he was making an excuse to run away.
After telling everyone he would be back, Tatsuo lowered his legs from Tio's lap. Then, he sat up, taking his head off Kasumi's lap before he looked at Kasumi and Tio, who were both smiling at him.
"Well, at least you're getting along well enough." Tatsuo said. "Anyway, let's go. *Sigh* Making mom wait usually ends up with me feeling guilty, even if it's not my fault."
In response, Kasumi could only giggle while covering her mouth with one of her hands. Meanwhile, Tio only smiled while thinking that she would like to get to know Sumire better.
"By the way, Tatsuo." Tio said as she, Tatsuo, and Kasumi stood up from Tatsuo's bed. "Your mother's name is Sumire, right? Then, does that have anything to do with what you like about the Sumire I met in my world?"
As soon as they stood up, Tatsuo, Kasumi, and Tio started walking towards the bedroom door. However, when Tatsuo heard Tio's question, he almost tripped over his feet. Luckily, he reacted quickly enough to catch himself. Then, he turned back to glare at Tio, who started to shudder in ecstasy from Tatsuo's glare.
Meanwhile, Kasumi looked at Tatsuo with wide open eyes. Then, she turned to look at Tio to ask a question.
"Oh, is Tatsuo-Kun's girlfriend named---" Kasumi said, starting to ask her question. However, when she saw the expression on Tio's face after Tatsuo glared at her, her words came to a sudden and abrupt stop. "Oh my..."
"*Sigh* I can't deal with this right now." Tatsuo muttered while turning around and starting to walk again.
Meanwhile, Kasumi continued to shift her gaze between Tatsuo and Tio, trying to wrap her head around what she was seeing. Tio, on the other hand, started shuddering even more heavily while her face reddened, and she writhed in place.
"I can kind of understand what Tatsuo-Kun was thinking when he walked away." Kasumi muttered to herself. She then patted Tio on the shoulder to pull her out of her... moment. "Come now, Tio-San. It's not good to keep Sumire-Sama waiting."
"Ah! Yes. *Slurp*" Tio replied while slurping up the drool that started to leak from between her lips after Tatsuo turned around and started ignoring her. "You're right. It would be terribly rude."
With that, Kasumi and Tio rushed to catch up with Tatsuo. Then, after a few more moments, the trio arrived in the dining room, where Sumire and Mai were bringing out food from the kitchen. And while Sumire was all smiles, Mai was glaring at Tio like she had killed her family.
"Come on, Tatsu-Chan, Guest-Chan." Sumire said as she placed the last dish on the table. "Have a seat. Then, we can get to know each other while the two of you have something to eat. And you can tell us how you met each other, too."
*Thud!*
"Yes, I'd like to know how you met my Tatsu-Kun." Mai said as she roughly placed the dish she was carrying onto the table.
*Smack!*
"That's enough, Mai-Chan." Sumire said sternly while slapping Mai on the butt. "At least let her tell us how they met before you show so much hostility. Who knows, she might not even be interested in Tatsu-Chan."
"Kya!" Mai yelped in surprise, jumping slightly from the unexpected spanking.
Despite that, Mai did calm down a little. She then admitted to herself that she might have overreacted by a teeny-tiny bit when she saw Tio sitting on Tatsuo's bed and rubbing his back. However, as soon as she heard Tio's next words, all hell broke loose.
"Actually, I am quite interested in Tatsuo." Tio said as she pulled her fan out of her robe's sleeve.
'She wouldn't say that in front of Mom, would she?' Tatsuo thought to himself as he picked up his chopsticks. He then turned to look at Tio. And when he saw her blush hidden behind her fan, he knew his thinking was in correct. 'Oh, shit... She definitely would.'
Then, just as Tatsuo tried to stop her from speaking by flinging a backhand in her direction, Tio finished her thought just before it connected.
"Especially after the way he ravaged my body the day after we first met." Tio said excitedly while writhing in place. "Oh, he made me feel so good. He was just--- Kya!"
*Smack!*
However, Tatsuo was too late. The damage had been done. On top of that, Tatsuo's backhand, that sent Tio flipping backwards over her seat's backrest, only served to excite her even more. Luckily, Tio's thoughts continued to leak out of her mouth before Mai could really and truly lose her temper.
"Tatsu-Kin?" Mai asked, her voice sounding as if she were on the verge of tears. However, the strange thing about it was that she sounded like she would be crying out of anger and sadness at the same time. "What does she mean?"
"Yes, Tatsu-Chan." Sumire, her voice sounding much more menacing than the doting tone she usually used to speak to Tatsuo, asked in a scarily calm tone. "And I don't think hitting a lady to silence her was the right thing to do. I know I didn't get to raise you properly, but that should be common sense."
'Shit... after spending so much time with her in the Arifureta Universe, I acted on instinct.' Tatsuo thought to himself. 'Yeah, that shit wasn't cool. But I don't know how to explain this to Mom.'
Meanwhile, Kasumi was thoroughly shocked by the way Tatsuo slapped Tio. However, instead of freaking out like Sumire and Mai, she turned to look at Tio. And she was completely shocked by what she saw.
"Oh, God, yes!" Tio screamed in ecstasy. "Master! More! Ravage my body more! Please, Master, I need more!"
Hearing that, Sumire, Mai, and Kasumi all froze with dumbfounded expressions on their faces. Meanwhile, Tatsuo, ashamed of the way he reacted, because he knew his actions were what led directly to this outcome, sat with his face cupped in his hands.
"What... the... actual... fuck?" Mai asked, so surprised that all the killing intent and anger she was feeling had been blown away.
"So, I was correct, she's one of those." Kasumi said, unsure how else to comment on what was happening.
"*Sigh* I see." Sumire, after regaining her senses, said following a lengthy, relieved sigh. "I was genuinely terrified that you had not listened to me and had sex before you turned sixteen."
'I guess I shouldn't have held off on getting the information about Tatsu-Chan's trip from my main body.' Sumire thought to herself. 'But I wanted to be surprised by his story from adventuring through another world. Plus, now I feel bad for getting mad at Tatsu-Chan. I bet he was so scared that his Mommy was gonna yell at him. I mean, look at him hiding his face behind his hands.'
While Sumire's thoughts were heading in the completely wrong direction, Mai and Kasumi shifted their gazes back and forth between Tatsuo and Tio.
"Um... Tatsu-Kun..." Mai said hesitantly, scared that Tatsuo would be mad at her for jumping to, completely understandable, conclusions. 'So, do you think you could tell us how you and this... woman... met?"
"*Sigh* Okay..." Tatsuo said, sounding tired enough to fall asleep at the table. At the same time, he put his chopsticks down, clearly not interested in eating anymore. "Well, I ran into Tio in the mountains outside of a village called Ur in the world I went to."
Tatsuo then went on to explain how he and some other world travelers stopped a traitor from attacking the village after they decided to guard Tio, who was in her dragon form, while she slept.
"Although I'm interested to know about these other girls you mentioned, I'll wait for now." Mai said, trying her best to stay in control of her emotions.
"*Sigh* I wanna go to bed." Tatsuo muttered. "Anyway, after she woke up, Tio challenged our group to a fight to see if we were strong enough to help her and her tribe of Dragonmen. And... Well... I was the one who fought her. And... I won. But because her endurance, especially with her dragon scales, was so strong, I had to hit her pretty hard..."
"And I loved every second of it!" Tio shouted excitedly.
"This is my life now." Tatsuo grumbled. "Anyway, after the fight, she turned into..."
Tatsuo then gestured to Tio without looking in her direction, which made her writhe even more vigorously.
"... this." Tatsuo said, finishing his sentence.
With that, Sumire, Mai, and Kasumi looked at Tatsuo with gazes filled with pity.
"But why did you bring her hear?" Mai asked, her pout returning.
"*Sigh* That was because..." Tatsuo said, answering Mai's question exasperatedly. However, instead of sounding tired, he sounded frustrated.
Tatsuo then explain a little about the world's situation. Then, he explained what he and James did to safeguard the world from the so-called god, Ehit, only for them to find out that the time would freeze after they left, making all their effort useless. Finally, he explained that each of the three sent on the [Mission] were allowed to bring one person back with them, and that he got stuck with Tio.
After that, Tatsuo continued to answer questions from Sumire, Mai, and Kasumi with Tio chiming in every now and again after she got herself under control. Unfortunately, thanks to this Q&A session lasting late into the night, Tatsuo was unable to ask his mother about the whole dragon bloodline thing.
So, Tatsuo decided to put that conversation off until tomorrow, he had school in the morning, after all. He would also have to make a trip back to the ICDS Universe in a couple of days to help clear the Wyvern Nest Field Dungeon.
'I need to ask mom to get me some time off of school for that.' Tatsuo thought to himself when thinking about his upcoming trip to Sumire's world. 'I should probably find something else to call Sumire-San, too. I'm sure it's getting confusing for some people.'
