Haramura Nodoka's Melancholy

[Eriri (Level 8, Stage 5): When I held the Star Grail, I immediately understood its nature. The Grail is actually born from the universe's essence. Holding it means you control all the authority of the No Game No Life universe, becoming a peak Level 8 powerhouse.]

[Eriri (Level 8, Stage 5): But the Grail has its flaws. Once you possess the Grail, you can never ascend to Level 9, and when you leave the No Game No Life universe, the Grail's effects will diminish drastically.]

[Eriri (Level 8, Stage 5): Still, the chance to instantly become a peak Level 8 powerhouse is an incredible opportunity.]

[Eriri (Level 8, Stage 5): So, does anyone want to come to the No Game No Life world and become the One True God?]

[Ruri Gokou (Level 2, Stage 9): I see. Becoming the One True God sounds cool, but I still want to reach Level 9 someday. Chest puffed out.jpg]

[Chika Fujiwara (Level 3, Stage 5): Oh, Ruri Gokou, it's cute how you think you can reach Level 9. Not to crush your dreams, but it's hard enough to reach Level 8 with the help of this chat group—who knows how long it'll take? And since the chat group can't boost anyone to Level 9, becoming the One True God is a pretty solid option.]

[Ruri Gokou (Level 2, Stage 9): Then why don't you go for it, Chika? You could be the One True God.]

[Chika Fujiwara (Level 3, Stage 5): Oh, no thanks! Silly grin.jpg]

[Ruri Gokou (Level 2, Stage 9): …]

[Yuuki Asuna (Level 3, Stage 3): …]

[Ruri Gokou (Level 2, Stage 9): Fist clenched.jpg]

[Chika Fujiwara (Level 3, Stage 5): Come on, you've got to dream big! Without dreams, aren't you just a salted fish? Righteous pose.jpg]

[Eriri (Level 8, Stage 5): You're the one who's basically a salted fish! Laughing.jpg]

[Arifureta (Level 4, Stage 2/Group Leader): Agreed.]

[Chika Fujiwara (Level 3, Stage 5): Hey, show me proof! Slam table.jpg]

[Kaguya Shinomiya (Level 1, Stage 3): I can testify! Hand raised.jpg]

[Chika Fujiwara (Level 3, Stage 5): ???]

[Kaguya Shinomiya (Level 1, Stage 3): Eriri-sama, since you've now grasped the Star Grail, will it affect you negatively in any way?]

[Eriri (Level 8, Stage 5): No, it won't affect me. The Grail has no real use for me since all the power within me comes from universal cosmic energy. A mere object derived from that energy can't influence me. That's why I said the Grail is pretty much worthless to me.]

[Kaguya Shinomiya (Level 1, Stage 3): I see. So does that mean the Grail can't affect you, but you can affect the Grail?]

[Eriri (Level 8, Stage 5): Not exactly. Right now, I can't change the Grail. Unless I ascend to Level 9, I won't be able to alter it. However, I can use the Grail to access the authority of the No Game No Life world.]

[Kaguya Shinomiya (Level 1, Stage 3): I understand. Thank you, Eriri-sama, for explaining it to me.]

...

In the end, Eriri decided to keep the Star Grail herself, making the No Game No Life universe essentially hers.

Next, she turned her attention to repairing the planet Disboard. After years of endless war, the planet had become so devastated that it could be considered a dead world. The fact that humans could still survive in such a place was a miracle.

Restoring the planet to its former vitality was a simple task for Eriri, not requiring the Grail's help at all.

Before long, the planet was restored to its pre-war state. Warm sunlight bathed the land, and the sky no longer rained down black ash. The barren land sprouted green plants and vibrant flowers, turning the world into a paradise.

The survivors from all the races stepped out from their protective barriers and caves, enjoying the long-lost warmth of the sun.

Since Eriri had obtained the Star Grail, all the races now regarded her as the supreme One True God.

After erasing the scars of the Great War, Eriri issued three decrees to all the intelligent life in the world, in her role as the One True God:

First, no god species was to interfere in the affairs of their respective races; they were to retire peacefully.

Second, humans were officially recognized as the "Humanity," ranked as the 16th species.

Third, for a thousand years, no conflicts were to break out between the major races. Anyone who violated this decree would face severe punishment.

Eriri didn't turn Disboard into a world where disputes were settled through games, like in the original story. Instead, she granted every intelligent being a Spirit Corridor, giving them all unlimited potential.

As for what would happen after a thousand years, that wasn't her concern.

Eriri didn't bother searching for any surviving humans. She had already done more than enough for them by granting them the ability to use magic and securing a thousand years for them to develop.

If they still couldn't find a way to survive after this, no one could be blamed but themselves.

With this, Eriri had accomplished all her goals in the No Game No Life world in less than two hours. It was time for her to leave.

"Master, can I go with you to another world? I want to see and learn about more unknown knowledge," Jibril quickly clung to Eriri's smooth, pale leg, putting on an adorably pitiful expression upon hearing that Eriri was about to leave.

Oh no, that's too cute!

Even in her child form, Jibril's pitiful expression was absolutely adorable!

"Sure, but you'll have to behave, okay?" Eriri lightly tapped Jibril's little head, not rejecting her request to come to the Saekano world.

Though Jibril was a battle maniac with a strong desire to fight, she posed no threat in front of Eriri. And when Eriri's hands got itchy, she could just throw Jibril into the chat group's sparring arena to let her fight the training dummies to her heart's content.

Besides, with so much new knowledge to absorb, Jibril probably wouldn't even have time to think about fighting.

"Of course! I'm always obedient, Master!" Jibril replied excitedly, not even bothering to ask Artosh for permission.

At this point, only Jibril and Schwi were by Eriri's side. As for Azril and the rest of the Flügel lolis, along with the half-dead Artosh, they were all busy recovering their strength.

With that, Eriri, accompanied by a mechanical loli and a Flügel loli, returned to the Saekano world.

...

Instead of returning to school, Eriri went straight home. It was lunchtime, and there was still some time before classes resumed. Eriri planned to settle in Jibril and Schwi, have lunch, and then return to school.

Her house had become increasingly lively. Besides Arifureta, Shea, and Reina at school, and Aoi Kujo waiting outside, Lala, Nana, Momo, and the newly added Shinobu and Athena were all at home.

Now, with Jibril and Schwi added to the mix, it was quite the impressive lineup. Including Eriri as the head of the household, the villa was filled with an all-star cast of super beautiful girls.

With exactly twelve people, they could easily set up three tables of mahjong.

Speaking of mahjong, Eriri suddenly realized she had overlooked something…

...

In the world of Saki: Achiga-hen, Haramura Nodoka, who had just entered Kiyosumi High School, was feeling quite troubled. All her life, she had been a realist, believing that anything beyond common sense didn't exist. But today, something happened to her that defied all common sense.

In their world, mahjong tournaments were the main focus. More than a billion people across the globe competed in mahjong, and it had become inseparable from daily life.

Every year, numerous professional tournaments were held, and even at the middle and high school levels, there were large-scale national tournaments. All the students participating in these tournaments aimed to become professional mahjong players.

In this world, professional mahjong players were as famous as entertainment stars.

Haramura had previously won the national middle school individual mahjong championship, so she had a certain level of fame among high school students nationwide.

Originally, she didn't believe in the special abilities that her former teammates spoke about. In her view, winning or losing in mahjong was all about relying on experience and a vast amount of data from countless matches.

But now, she had to reconsider.

Haramura Nodoka sat at her desk, her chin resting in her hands, while her large, ample chest rested against the table. The weight on her upper body forced her to ease the strain by pressing it down on the desk, a practice she had gotten used to over the years.

At just sixteen years old, Haramura not only had a cute appearance but also boasted an extremely eye-catching figure.

Her pink hair was tied into twin tails, secured by two large red bows on either side. Her blue eyes were clear and bright, resembling sapphires, while her delicate face still had a touch of baby fat, exuding a soft, innocent charm.

If there was anything unusual about her, it was definitely her figure. Since elementary school, she had been known for her ample bust.

Though the rest of her body was slim, her weight was consistently about five kilograms heavier than other girls of the same height. This discrepancy was entirely due to her chest, which easily accounted for those extra kilos—a fact that constantly amazed anyone who noticed.

A few hours earlier, while Haramura had been sitting in class, something very strange had happened. A crisp "ding" echoed in her mind, and suddenly, a chat interface appeared—directly in her consciousness.

Of course, she knew what chat apps were, but having one manifest in her mind made no sense at all.

Initially, she thought it was a hallucination, something that would go away soon. But things only got weirder.

Shortly after the first notification, the same "ding" sound chimed again. Her curiosity piqued, Haramura focused on the strange interface and noticed someone had started a livestream in this so-called "chat group."

Driven by an inexplicable urge, she clicked on the live stream.

In an instant, it felt as though she had been transported to another world—literally. She found herself in a vast, desolate landscape, something out of a post-apocalyptic dream. It didn't feel like she was simply watching a video; it was like being there in person. She couldn't feel the temperature or move, but everything else felt so real.

That's when she saw two figures: a breathtakingly beautiful blonde girl and a winged woman with an otherworldly aura.

The winged woman had large white wings growing from her waist and a halo-like object spinning above her head. Everything about her screamed otherworldly.

Then, to Haramura's disbelief, the two started to battle—and what a battle it was. They moved with such speed and power that it defied all logic. But thanks to the clarity of the livestream, she could follow their movements.

She watched as the blonde girl ruthlessly beat down the winged woman. The winged woman—who looked stunning and powerful—couldn't even put up a fight. She was utterly dominated.

Just as Haramura was getting pulled deeper into this surreal spectacle, she suddenly snapped back to reality. Someone had called her name.

It turned out that while she was watching the livestream, she had slumped over her desk as if she had fallen asleep. Her teacher had noticed and called her out in front of the entire class.

So now, she had to suppress her desire to rejoin the livestream and focus on class, even though she was dying to know how the battle ended.

After what felt like an eternity, morning classes finally ended. She quickly ate her lunch, then slumped over her desk, pretending to nap while she re-entered the mysterious chat group in her mind.

To her relief, the livestream was still active, and she immediately dove back in.

However, the scene had changed. The beautiful blonde girl was still there, but her opponent was now a massive, muscular man with twelve wings sprouting from his back. He looked like some kind of angelic warrior, towering over the girl.

What followed was something that completely shattered Haramura's understanding of reality.

The space around the two combatants began to crack and break, as if reality itself couldn't handle the sheer power they were releasing. Then, countless stars in the background started to collapse and explode, as if they were mere playthings being destroyed by the residual shockwaves from their battle.

It was beyond anything Haramura had ever imagined. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"Is she... a goddes?" Haramura wondered to herself. But even that didn't seem right—no goddess in any mythology she knew could wield such power. Not like this.

At this point, she realized she still didn't understand the chat group's nature. She had yet to explore its features fully.

Still numb from the spectacle, Haramura continued watching the livestream. She saw strange things—a mysterious object called the Star Grail, a planet being revived into a paradise, and a beautiful blonde girl standing victorious over a colossal, winged figure.

Everything she saw burned itself into her memory.

She had no idea who these people were, or why they were fighting, but she felt a strange connection to it all.

Finally, unable to resist any longer, Haramura decided to send a message in the chat group.

But, just like her first attempt, it seemed no one noticed. She had sent several messages by now, yet there was no response. It was as if she was invisible.

Feeling a bit melancholic, Haramura sighed as she watched the chat's new messages scroll by rapidly. She wanted to say something, but didn't know how to join the conversation.
