Art of explosion

Even though it was the middle of the night, people all over the city woke up to the sound of a big explosion. When they opened their curtains and looked at the source of the explosion, they saw that the God-defying building in the centre of the city was surrounded by huge flames.

What they didn't know was the action that had been taking place at the top of that building for the last few minutes.

------ A few minutes ago

Something strange was happening on the 199th floor of a large skyscraper. All the glass on the east side of this floor had been shattered so that the east-facing part of the floor was completely unprotected. And what's more, if someone were to fall from this height, they would surely turn into tomato paste on the asphalt.

But didn't the muscular man with black hair standing in front of this void know this fact? Of course, he did, but his thinking was quite simple: why would he lose his balance and fall down when there was not even a strong wind?

The man was walking with his bare feet a few inches in front of the gap and talking to the man who had been suspended from the building with the help of a simple crane.

"Why are you still resisting?"

There was a man suspended from the 199th floor of the building by a crane system from the ceiling. On the man's face was an iconic mask that a famous painter, who had died 199 years ago, wore when he painted himself.

The man showed no tension as he was tied hand and foot and dangled upside down. He even laughed for a while before answering.

"Hahahaha, you really are crazy, aren't you? Do you think I'm going to give you the codes to self-destruct a nuclear weapons factory?"

At these words, the muscular man stopped walking in front of the void and turned to the man hanging in front of him.

"Yes, that's exactly what I think! After all, you are a good father loving his family and children and a good president loving his country. Of course, you won't sacrifice your family for a few simple nuclear weapons."

Hearing these words, the bound man suddenly started shouting as if he had lost his patience.

"You crazy son of a bitch! That fucking lab has almost a thousand nuclear warheads with the power of an atomic bomb. And many of the smartest people in the country are there right now. not to speak of the 5,000 or so employees. I'm the president of this country, and if you expect me to sacrifice all those people to protect my family, you don't have to wait in vain, cut the fucking rope!"

The atmosphere became silent for a while after the words of the man who was the top executive of this country. The man knew very well who was threatening him now. The most notorious criminal in history, the greatest criminal mastermind and most importantly, a psychopath. That's why no one has ever caught this man.

Not only is he a hacker so skilled that he can disable all the cyber forces of the government, but no one has ever been able to stop him because he has no reason to commit a crime.

One day he gets bored and disrupts the economy of one of the most powerful countries in the world, another day he gets bored and steals one of the most valuable paintings in the world and leaves his signature behind, and another day he gets bored and kidnaps hundreds of children and quietly releases them back home after playing games with the entire police force of the country for several days.

Because of this man's existence, people's trust in the government has fallen precipitously and crime rates have skyrocketed in the last few years all over the world. But this crazy man doesn't give a damn about anything. And what's worse, lately his behaviour has become more and more absurd.

The other day a nuclear warship from one of the 4 most powerful countries in the world exploded in the middle of the sea, creating a huge mushroom cloud visible from satellites. And soon images of the explosion were all over the world's most popular social media apps. This man was so famous that he didn't even need to explain his crimes anymore.

He was the only crazy person in the world who could cause such a big explosion for no reason. And he shamelessly put a GIF of an anime character shouting about the art of explosions under his videos.

Fortunately, this man also had a flaw. He had a psychological disorder called megalomania by experts. And for this reason, he wanted to be liked by people. So no matter how big the crime he committed, he tried as much as possible to avoid killing people directly.

The only thing that the man hanging from the building trusted was this side of the man in front of him. Killing himself could probably be described as artistic for him, but causing the deaths of 5000 people probably broke his rules.

As the president nervously kept silent, he suddenly heard the criminal mastermind named Victor start laughing.

"Puffft... Hahahaha. Very good! Hahahaha excellent! Very brilliant! Hahahahah..."

He had a bad instinct to wonder why he had suddenly stopped laughing when he heard him speaking in a much more frightening tone than before.

"Didn't your detectors discover a nuclear leak at the secret underground base we talked about yesterday at around 08.06? And all the people working there were quickly evacuated, weren't they?"

The president's eyes narrowed as he heard the man's words. No one was supposed to know this information. Because this kind of important information would never have been subjected to a data transfer process. In a place like that, where there was no internet connection, it should have been impossible for a person to obtain such information remotely.
