Chapter 11: Party

"Frankly speaking the Party is quite a bore without gossips being involved. The Party only serves to make connections and gossip about other people." Sarah tells Marcus.

Marcus chuckled, nodding in agreement. "You're right. These parties are mainly for networking and catching up on the latest juicy gossip," he replied, taking a sip of his drink.

"But let me tell you," he leaned in closer to Sarah, his voice lowered to a near whisper. "You and I are the most talked-about topic here tonight. Eyes are definitely on us."

Marcus's smile widened as he spotted the trio approaching. Catherine, Anna, and Sophia were all known for their unique styles, but only Catherine held a prominent place in high society due to her lineage as the daughter of the influential Moore family.

Catherine wore an elegant deep emerald green gown that hugged her curves perfectly. The off-the-shoulder neckline accentuated her graceful collarbones, and her sleek hair was pulled back into a sophisticated bun, leaving a few tendrils framing her face. She accessorized with delicate diamond earrings that caught the light, adding a touch of sparkle to her refined look.

Anna chose a stunning red dress that flowed effortlessly around her. The fitted bodice flared into a soft, knee-length skirt, and the cap sleeves gave it a timeless charm. Her hair cascaded in soft waves down her back, and she completed her look with strappy silver heels that gave her a graceful height.

Sophia opted for a classic black lace gown that exuded sophistication. The intricate lace detailing contrasted beautifully with her smooth skin, and the dress featured a modest V-neckline and a subtle train that trailed behind her. Her hair was styled in loose curls, and she wore bold red lipstick that added a dramatic flair to her otherwise understated elegance.

"Ladies, looking radiant as always," Marcus greeted them with a charming smile. "I'd like you to meet Sarah," he said, gesturing to her. "Sarah, this is Catherine, a dear friend of mine, and these are Anna and Sophia."

As introductions were made, Sarah calmly extended her hand to Catherine with a warm smile. "Nice to meet you all. Are all three of you planning be girlfriends?" she said, her tone both gracious and poised.

Marcus chuckled at Sarah's question, appreciating her playfulness. The ladies shot him amused glances, their lips curling into sly smiles.

Catherine, with her air of high society upbringing, replied, "We've had our moments, but I believe he's currently taken."

Sophia added with a wink, "For now, at least. We'll see how long that lasts."

Anna chimed in, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "Yes, we're all just vying for his attention. It's a tough competition."

"Who might be your competition? I'm certainly not—I'm not his girlfriend," Sarah chuckled, her tone playful.

The ladies laughed, clearly amused by her lighthearted banter.

Sophia leaned in with a grin, her eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief. "Oh, darling, the competition is everywhere. High society is filled with beautiful, ambitious young women who wouldn't mind reeling in a charming man like Marcus."

Anna smirked, adding with a teasing glint, "But I have to hand it to you—you've got him on his toes. He's usually the one doing the reeling in."

"Am I~?" Sarah asked looking at Marcus with innocent puppy dog eyes.

Marcus couldn't help but chuckle at Sarah's innocent yet playful look. His eyes softened as he regarded her.

"Yes, you are," he replied, his voice warm and affectionate. "Nobody has ever kept me as intrigued and entertained as you do."

The ladies watched their exchange with knowing smiles, enjoying the obvious chemistry tussen Marcus and Sarah.

Sarah's playful smile widened at Marcus's response, clearly pleased by his words. She leaned in slightly, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Well, I'm glad I'm keeping you entertained. Maybe I should make it my full-time job," she teased, her tone light and flirtatious.

The other ladies exchanged amused glances, clearly enjoying the dynamic between the two. Catherine, ever composed, raised an eyebrow but couldn't hide the smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "You two certainly make a captivating pair," she remarked, her voice smooth, though there was a hint of curiosity in her tone.

Anna, always ready to add her own playful spin, leaned closer to Sarah, whispering just loud enough for Marcus to hear, "Careful, you might end up stealing his heart completely."

Sarah chuckled softly at Anna's words, not missing a beat. "Well, who knows? Maybe I already have," she replied with a wink, making sure to keep the atmosphere light and teasing.

Marcus smiled but said nothing, his gaze flickering between Sarah and the ladies. There was a certain electricity between him and Sarah that was hard to ignore, and it didn't go unnoticed by those around them.

Sophia, with her usual confidence, raised her glass slightly. "To keeping things interesting," she said with a grin, to which the others, including Marcus, nodded in agreement.

Sarah raised her own glass, clinking it softly against Sophia's. "To keeping things interesting," she echoed with a mischievous gleam in her eyes.

The conversation flowed effortlessly as the evening continued, the group enjoying the lively banter and the undeniable chemistry between Sarah and Marcus. The night was young, and the penthouse party had only just begun.

Sarah, feeling a bit restless with the party's formalities, scanned the room for anything—or anyone—that might add some excitement. Her gaze landed on someone in a similar baby-blue dress, complete with elegant detailing and a fitted silhouette that mirrored her own style. Intrigued, she decided to approach.

As she got closer, Sarah noticed the stranger's strikingly unique look. His dress, although similar to hers in color, had subtle differences: it was embellished with delicate silver accents along the neckline and had sheer, flowing sleeves that added a whimsical touch. His figure was slender, with just enough natural grace to pull off the dress convincingly. He wore a pair of silver heels that added height, and his posture was poised, showing off a quiet confidence.

His face was framed by soft waves of shoulder-length hair that fell naturally, enhancing his androgynous features. His makeup was skillfully done—highlighted cheekbones, subtle smoky eyes, and a hint of gloss on his lips, giving him an elegant yet slightly daring allure. His skin was fair, and his eyes held a glint of mischief, as if he enjoyed the mystery his appearance created.

After a few minutes of light conversation, he finally revealed his name, smiling as he leaned in a little closer. "I'm Alex," he said, his voice calm and friendly but with a tone that hinted at humor. Sarah's surprise grew as Alex eventually shared the twist she hadn't expected—that he, like her, was simply cross-dressing for the fun of it.

They laughed together, instantly finding common ground.

"Man, what a small world?" Sarah said chuckling finding the situation funny.

Alex chuckled, sharing in Sarah's amusement. "It really is a small world," he said with a grin. "I didn't expect to meet someone with the same flair for bending the dress code."

"Two femboy crossdressers meeting in this party? So are you from a rich family too? Or with a friend." Sarah asked him.

"I am currently with a friend, I bet you know him. Marcus Desmond?" Sarah asked him.

When Sarah mentioned Marcus, Alex raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Marcus Desmond? Yeah, I know him—we've crossed paths at a few of these high-society gatherings. He's a bit of a legend around here." He smirked, glancing around the room. "You must be someone special if he brought you along."

Sarah shrugged, trying to keep things casual. "Special, maybe—or just lucky," she joked. "Honestly, I think he just likes to keep things interesting. I was practically bored to tears before I saw you in that dress."

"Well, I'm glad I could break up the monotony," Alex replied, striking a playful pose. "But I have to admit, you wear it better."

They both laughed, instantly feeling like partners in crime amidst the formality of the evening.

"Yeah, well your plump rear does make the dress look a little slutty. Shape it up a bit so it doesn't sag or anything." Sarah teases him and looks him up and down admiring his shapely legs.

"Nice legs and this waist is slender making your rear look even bigger." Sarah teased him.

"Is the rear as soft as it look?" Sarah asked him while standing in the balcony since they were moving around and talking.

Alex chuckled, turning slightly to show off the fitted rear of his dress from a different angle. "Why don't you find out for yourself?" he teased, his tone lighthearted but with a hint of flirtation.

"Don't mind if I do," Sarah said with a mischievous grin, giving Alex's rear a playful squeeze.

Alex gasped, his eyes widening in surprise at her boldness. A blush crept up his cheeks as he looked at Sarah, caught between shock and laughter.

"Whoa, you really don't hold back, do you?" he chuckled, his voice a bit breathless. He tried to regain his composure, but a grin tugged at his lips, revealing he was more amused than anything.

"Guess I like keeping people on their toes," Sarah replied with a wink. The two shared a laugh, the playful energy between them clear as they continued to enjoy each other's unexpected company.
