One Sided Beating of The Unsexy Variety

Alex had a limited amount of time to beat Tony before his Psionic Surge ran out and he had no chance of defeating him. Before beginning another round with Tony, Alex put up his forcefield again. Then, feeling good and ready, Alex dashed up to Tony faster than Tony could react, and delivered a devastating upper cut to his chin.

This flung Tony back and high up into the air out over the top of the security building. Alex jumped to catch up to Tony's body.

Alex jumped harder than he realized and ended up high above Tony in the air. Using his telekinesis to push himself down as fast as he could, Alex dove down at Tony, delivering a heavy kick to his stomach.

This pushed Tony down and into the roof of the security building. They smashed through the roof, and then impacted the floor, cracking the cement floor.

Alex looked around for a weapon, and saw a gun and baton on the desk. He would figure a gang like the Purple Platypuses would normally steal the gun, but that didn't seem like their style. They seemed to be a lot more into knives than guns.

Alex grabbed the baton and put it under his arm. Then he grabbed the gun and aimed it at Tony's face. He wasn't trying to kill him, and maybe damage his eye sight. Alex fired the gun, re-aimed, fired again, continuously.

"Agh! What the— Stop! Ow, my eye! Seriously, knock it— Ptuh! The shells are falling in my mouth. Come on, man! I get enough things in my mouth as it is. I don't need more," Tony said as Alex fired a gun into his face.

Alex ran out of bullets and threw the gun away. One of Tony's eyes was sparking and the other one was dark, like a lightbulb inside of it had broken or turned off. Otherwise, his face looked fine.

Alex figured since Tony's eyes were glowing that they'd be cybernetic and he wasn't likely to kill him by shooting them. Just damage their functioning.

Alex pulled out the baton. It wasn't one of those telescoping ones. It was a solid rod of metal. It was light, but thick. Probably titanium. Titanium was a light metal, like aluminum, but much stronger.

He'd never seen a baton like this on his Earth. It was probably designed to deal with powered up cyborgs like Tony. Which was good news for Alex, because that's exactly what he intended to do. Deal with him.

Alex swung the baton into the side of Tony's face, essentially slapping him with the metal rod. He did it again, but from the other side. Tony put his hands up to defend himself, but Alex just started hitting Tony's arms and hands instead.

They dented and bent and broke as the hard titanium rod slammed into them. Tony eventually kicked Alex away from him. Alex landed softly on his feet. He walked outside of the security building through one of holes in the walls to get more space to swing the baton.

Tony eventually emerged from the security building. His left arm was sparking, broken, and useless, but his right arm still had life in it. Tony adopted a stance that reminded Alex of his childhood Taekwondo lessons. Man, he missed those days right now.

Tony threw up a series of surprisingly fast kicks at Alex. One of them landed against his side, but Alex blocked most of the damage with his arms. He should have hit the leg with the baton, but he didn't think of it fast enough.

Tony performed another roundhouse kick to Alex's side, but this time he was ready. Alex blocked it with the baton, which put a slight dent in Tony's leg, and then Alex spun around and swung the baton hard into Tony's side. This sent the man sprawling.

Before, he could get up, Alex dashed up to Tony and overhand slammed the baton into Tony's lower legs repeatedly, crushing and bending them. Tony tried to get up but he couldn't. Not with his legs in that condition.

The best he could do was prop himself up halfway with his arms, but he was in no condition to fight anymore.

Alex crouched down but not close enough for Tony to get his hands on him, and said, "So, about that branding lesson. What should I call my Psionic Surge Mode that actually sounds cool?"

"I guess I've been beat, haven't I? Why should I help you though? You ruined our plans to take all the city's dirty money," Tony said.

"I could beat you some more," Alex said, slapping the baton into one of his palms. "Wait, don't you give the city some of that dirty money?"

"Yeah, we did. Still doesn't make it right," Tony said looking into the distance. He felt his head. There was blood coming out of it. Not a lot, but some. "No, more beatings. Please. I think I need to see a doctor. I'm all sorts of messed up."

There was a long silence where they just sat together thinking. About what, no one will know.

"What do you think about Sapphire Surge?" Tony said.

"Hmm. I like it, but it's not quite there," Alex said.

"Oh, oh! What about Azure Overdrive?" Tony said.

"I like it! That's what I'll call it from now on," Alex said. "Thank you. You're not such a bad guy. We just got off on the wrong foot."

"You don't seem so bad yourself. I was just so blind with rage that I had to kill you. Well, try to kill you. It was nothing personal. I just get so emotional when someone fucks with my plans," Tony said. "If you don't kill me, I promise I won't go after Gertie anymore. She's such a cute bitter old lady, I hated having to send a hitman after her."

The blood had been working its way down his face, and it finally leaked into Tony's sparking eye. At first nothing seemed to happen, but after a few seconds, he put his hand up to his eye.

"Ow. Ow! Oww!!!" Tony screamed and a bright lights flashed in his eyes and out of the vents in his head. Tony made jerking motions like he was being electrocuted and then he fell back down onto his back limp and lifeless.

Black smoked poured out of his head. Alex checked his pulse. He was gone. His cybernetics must have electrocuted him and fried his brain.

Alex felt his Psionic Surge end. He had hit the time limit and he would need to rest before being able to do it again.

Right at that moment, all of Tony's men burst out of the warehouse door. They saw Tony laying on the ground not moving.

"You killed our boss! Now we're going to kill you and that dirty old granny! You can enjoy spending time together in hell!" One of them said.

"Because that's where we're going to send you. Because we're going to kill you," another one said.

The first one face palmed. "That was implied you moron."

"Hey, take it back. That hurt my feelings," the other one said.

"I'm sorry Danny. I didn't mean it," the first one said. "Now let's go kill this guy!" They all started running at Alex.

"I don't suppose I can convince you that your boss and I worked out a truce?" Alex said.

"Nooo!!!" They all said together.
