My mother

The old lady took my hand in hers while humming a song, she suddenly let go of my hand while looking at me carefully, she poured herself a glass of water while not taking her eyes off me, she suddenly started laughing while drinking the water.

"If you knew what that thing is saying to me, you'd freeze son, it's not a normal soul that's stuck to you, more like a pretty nasty bug."

"What is it that I have stuck to me?"

"Well, if I told you now what would be the point of the service I'm giving you."

"What are you talking about? What you want is money right?"

"Partly yes, but tell me something son where is your mother?"

"Dead."

I answered dryly, I was beginning to think he was making fun of me and more when after I answered him he answered me with big mocking laughter, I stood up to then walk towards the exit, when suddenly he tells me with a serious tone.

"Guadalupe Beltran, that's your mother right son?"
