Eyes

A little surprised I look at Jessica who just looks me in the eyes carefully, sipping her coffee as she settles on the couch.

"You used to come with your father, didn't you? He was exactly like you only he had the look of a man and you just look like a kid."

"I'm 20 years old and I think I'm a lot more mature than you."

"Valla I'm sorry, I seem to touch a fragile spot."

He laughed a little as he looked at me carefully again but this time seriously.

"You're the age my little sister would be if she were still with us."

As if by chance the topic came up, I must start doing some research, if I did something as sudden as such an obvious question as How did your sister die? It would look very suspicious.

"I see excuse me if I made you remember something painful."

"No, don't worry it's okay after all she was no big deal to me."

Big deal, I guess she didn't get along so well with the white haired woman. Suddenly a glass fell off the shelf that was in the kitchen, Jessica scared went over there to pick up the remains of glass, that's where again I saw the white haired woman, she was standing on top of the small table in the living room but she had no eyes she seemed to be looking at me but just pointed at me in the closet.

"What's in there?"

"My white dress, could you take it home it's for something very important."

"Why don't you have eyes?"

"Why? Yes, why don't I have eyes?"

At that moment Jessica arrived and sat back down on the couch, she apologized for that she had left the glass on the edge of the table. At that moment the white-haired woman looked at her with the holes where her eyes would have to be.

"Ah, there they are."

She pointed to Jessica's eyes as she said that sentence.
