As Adrian and Ruby ran from Roman Torchwick and the Fang soldiers who were shooting at them, Maple who saw that ran to block the ballets from hitting them, but the Fang and Torchwick's bad aim made Adrian comment with his stell broken jaw.
[Adrian]: Ya him ki smna.
[Roman Torchwick]: What?
[Gaster]: He said you aim like a woman.
Silence.
The battlefield froze.
Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, and every single female Fang soldier turned their heads in unison.
Their collective glare could have melted through Atlas steel.
Even Roman took a step back.
[RWBY/Female Fang members]: EXCUSE ME?!
[Yang]: Oh, you did NOT just say that.
[Blake]: Adrian, do you have a death wish?
[Weiss]: Incredibly poor choice of words.
[Random Female Fang Soldier]: Oh, he's dead.
Adrian blinked, finally realizing what Gaster had done.
[Adrian]: Gaaaaster, yaa hmaaamaa! (Gaster, you bastard!)
Gaster merely smirked.
[Gaster]: Whoops.
Meanwhile, Adrian, completely aware of the social disaster he just unleashed, turned to Gaster with a glare.
[Adrian]: Dat not wah Ah sied! (That's not what I said!)
Gaster simply shrugged.
[Roman Torchwick]: PFFFT—HAHAHAHA!!
Roman, of all people, burst into laughter. He leaned against his cane, cackling like a madman.
[Roman Torchwick]: Oh—oh, this is priceless. Not only is the Green Cat crippled, but he's also single-handedly pissed off every woman in the room. You really are my favorite punching bag, kid.
Then, his smirk widened as he aimed his cane at Adrian.
[Roman Torchwick]: Well, since you've already pissed off every lady here… why don't I do you a favor and put you out of your misery?
He pulled the trigger.
But before the shot could hit—
Maple blocked it with her shield.
She turned to Adrian, glaring daggers.
[Maple]: You better explain yourself when this is over, you idiot.
Adrian, still in excruciating jaw pain, just let out a defeated sigh.
[Adrian]: Ah hate yew Gathder. (I hate you, Gaster.)
Then, the first punch was thrown.
Adrian barely had time to process before Yang decked him, sending him skidding across the floor.
[Ruby]: YANG!
[Yang]: He had it coming!
[Ruby]: No, Yang! Listen—Torchwick has all sorts of robots and stuff down there!
Adrian groaned, pushing himself up while holding his ribs.
[Adrian]: Tri fua f ba! (And a train full of Dust and bombs!)
[Blake]: Gaster, translation, please?
[Gaster]: He said, 'And a train full of Dust and bombs.'
Dr. Oobleck's eyes widened behind his glasses.
[Dr. Oobleck]: This is ridiculous! Where does he plan to take all of this? Every tunnel here is sealed!
Gaster, flipping through his notebook, adjusted his glasses.
[Gaster]: Unless they had time to clear them. And given the scale of this operation, they probably already have.
Right on cue, a loud broadcast echoed through the underground tunnels.
[Roman Torchwick]: All units, get to your stations—we're leaving NOW!
The train's engines roared to life, and within moments, it started moving fast.
[Ron]: If this thing is headed for the City of Vale, then we've got a big problem.
Ron immediately got to work, setting Adrian's jaw and arm back in place before wrapping his injuries in bandages.
[Adrian]: Thanks, Ron. Also, Red's involved in this. He's got some of his people on that train. And, Yang? Next time, maybe don't punch me in my already broken rib cage?
[Yang]: You deserved that. And if Red's there, I'd love to give him a piece of my mind for giving my sister nightmares.
Adrian stretched his newly bandaged arm, wincing.
[Adrian]: Then take me with you. I've got a score to settle too— GAH, YANG, MY RIBS! DON'T TOUCH THEM!
[Ruby]: But how are we supposed to get on that train?!
Gaster smirked, crossing his arms.
[Gaster]: Well… we have our ride.
Everyone turned to look at Maple.
[Maple]: Huh?
[At the Train]
Roman Torchwick leaned back in his seat, exhaling in relief as the train sped forward.
[Roman Torchwick]: Finally, away from those annoying kids, and—
BOOM!
The entire train shook violently.
A White Fang soldier stumbled into the car, panicked.
[Fang Member]: Boss, we have a problem! A giant black monster is attacking the train!
Roman closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and sighed.
[Roman Torchwick]: Of course it is…
He lazily glanced toward six cloaked, dark figures standing at the far end of the car. A slow smirk crept onto his face.
[Roman Torchwick]: Would you fine ladies and gentlemen be so kind as to lend a hand?
The figures remained still for a moment—then one of them cracked their knuckles.
[Back to the Teams]
Team RWBY clung for dear life as they rode on Maple's massive demon form, her black frame tearing through the tunnels at full speed. With each bound, she slammed into the train, shaking it to its core.
[Yang]: So… we're just not going to talk about how she can turn into this?
Riding alongside them on his Blaster bike, Gaster shared a look with Ron before shrugging.
[Gaster]: Trust me. Fewer questions, fewer headaches. Also, we have a train to stop.
[Dr. Oobleck]: Gaster is right. As much as I want to ask questions, now is not the time.
Without hesitation, Oobleck leaped from Maple's massive back onto the train, followed closely by Team RWBY and Team GRAM.
[Ron]: Alright, Adrian, don't overdo it. And Maple—try to slow this thing down!
[Maple]: I'll try!
But before she could act, a dark-cloaked figure launched toward her from the train, his fist colliding with her head in a devastating blow. The force staggered Maple, stopping her momentum entirely.
The figure tossed aside his cloak, revealing a muscular man wearing a tiger mask. His upper body was bare, rippling with muscle, his fists glowing with energy.
[Yang]: OH MY OUM, HE'S HOT!
[Everyone]: YANG, NOT NOW!
The masked man cracked his knuckles, his voice booming.
[Tiger Mask]: FACE ME, BEAST!
[Ron]: Everyone, keep moving! Maple can handle this!
[Tiger Mask]: Falcon Punch!
[Gaster]: Are you sure about that?
As soon as he spoke, a red energy beam seared past him, barely missing his head.
[Ron]: That's your answer. NOW MOVE!
The teams rushed toward the train's roof, fighting their way past White Fang soldiers. Upon reaching the first cart, they swung open the doors—only to be met with a massive, ominous-looking device.
[Adrian]: This is the bomb I saw!
A cold shiver ran through Team RWBY.
[Dr. Oobleck]: Don't panic! As long as—
[Bomb]: "BEEP. BEEP. BEEP."
[Ruby]: We've got bigger problems!
She pointed ahead—approaching fast were waves of White Fang soldiers, led by two distinct figures.
One was a wolf Faunus with pink hair and a whip. Adrian's grip on his sword tightened, his teeth grinding in barely restrained anger.
The other was far more unsettling. A human boy—or what looked like one—stood confidently at the frontlines. He carried a purple bone club over his shoulder, and his unsettling six eyes gleamed: two orange, two blue, and two red. His blue jacket and orange scarf flared from the wind rushing past the train. A green shirt underneath bore three glowing hearts—one black, two red.
Gaster froze.
[Torn One]: GASTER! YOU WILL PAY FOR OUR PAIN—THE PAIN OF THE TORN ONE!
[Newell]: Looks like the toy has come crawling back to its master.
A surge of black energy flared around Gaster as he summoned his Bone Helpers, spectral hands, and Blasters. Adrian's shadow clone materialized, and he tightened his grip on his sword.
[Gaster]: Sorry, girls. This is where we stop.
[Ruby]: But we can—
[Adrian]: Ruby, take Ron and the others and STOP THIS TRAIN! We'll handle this!
Before she could argue, Gaster and Adrian launched forward, clashing with the enemy forces.
At the same time, Maple tore away the last train car, hurling the bomb far into the darkness before resuming her battle against Tiger Mask. But some Grimm managed to dodge past her, swarming toward the train.
[Dr. Oobleck]: Oh dear... They are leading Grimm to the city
[Weiss]: What
[Dr. Oobleck]: The carts that detach have bomes that created holes for the Grimm
As if to prove his point, the cart behind them detached and exploded.
[Dr. Oobleck]: You four need to hurry and stop those bombs!
[Ruby]: What about us?
[Dr. Oobleck]: We're going to stop this train.
[Ruby]: Yeah, I know—I said that earlier.
Suddenly, Adrian was sent flying, crashing down next to Ruby.
[Adrian]: Ruby… keep going!
Without hesitation, he sprinted back into the fray, engaging an Atlas Paladin as Ruby and Dr. Oobleck dashed past him.
Dr. Oobleck took a sip from his canteen—then, in a blink, it transformed into a weapon. With expert precision, he launched Zwei at another Paladin, destroying it instantly before he surged forward, dismantling another with ease.
[Gaster]: THAT IS UNSCIENTIFIC!
He yelled as he narrowly dodged a six-eyed blaster energy blast.
[Torn one]: GASTER.
[With the rest of team Ruby and Ron]
As they charged into the next cart, they were met with a girl whose hair was split into two colors—pink and brown.
[Yang]; You three go on ahead—this one is—
[Ron]: Done
[Yang/Blake/Weiss]: Huh?
They blinked.
The girl was already on the ground, battered and unconscious, Ron standing over her, holding a bamboo staff.
[Yang]: how did you—
[Ron]: Come on. No time.
Without waiting for a response, he rushed into the next cart.
The moment they stepped inside, they saw Ron already beating the hell out of a massive man wielding a chainsaw. This time, they weren't even surprised.
But as Ron charged into the next cart—
He was sent flying.
From the shadows, three figures emerged.
The first was a girl who looked like Ruby, except for her dark, soulless eyes and reptilian scales along her face. She wielded a scythe eerily similar to Crescent Rose.
The second was a knight clad in red armor, a massive sword in his grip.
The third was an old, hunched man, carrying oversized scissors.
And then, stepping out behind them, Roman Torchwick began to slowly clap.
[Roman Torchwick]: Well, let's see here… The Kitten, the Ice Queen, and Sunshine. Oh, and look at that—the Red Fox is here, too. Hope you've been enjoying our little reunion! Since our last meeting, I made a few new friends.
[Roman Torchwick]: Meet Sir Joiner, our gallant knight. The little one who looks like Little Red? That's Rosa. And the old man with the very questionable choice of weaponry? Pickler.
Ron sat up, rubbing his head. He stared at Torchwick for a moment before muttering—
[Ron]: Really thought nobody liked you enough to befriend you, Ramen Tomahawk.
Silence.
The entire cart went dead quiet.
Everyone just… processed what Ron had said.
[Roman Torchwick]: For the last time, it's Roman Torchwick, the greatest crime lord in Vale!
[Rosa]: The boy is right. Nobody likes you enough to befriend you, Torchwick.
[Joiner]: I agree with Rosa.
[Pickler]: Hmm…
[Roman Torchwick]: Come on, you guys! Didn't we all enjoy the card game?
[The three]: You cheated the entire game. { ̄へ ̄}
[Roman Torchwick]: Oh, come on! I barely cheated!
[Rosa]: You hid cards in your sleeve.
[Joiner]: You had a second deck under the table.
[Pickle]r: You made me bet my lunch… and then ate it.
[Roman Torchwick]: Okay, okay—so I cheated a little! Let's not get caught up in the past, shall we?
Torchwick twirled his cane, stepping forward.
[Roman Torchwick]: Now then! As much as I'd love to sit here and reminisce about my excellent skills at deception, I've got a train to crash, and you four?
He smirked, resting his cane on his shoulder.
[Roman Torchwick]: You're in my way.
Rosa spun her scythe with unnatural grace, her soulless eyes locking onto Ruby's team. Joiner raised his sword, the red armor glinting under the dim train lights. Pickler clicked his oversized scissors together, the metallic snap snap sending an eerie chill down their spines.
[Yang]: Okay, I don't know what's creepier—the scissor guy or the fact that Ruby's evil twin is standing right in front of us.
[Weiss]: Can we all agree that we're just going to ignore Ron calling him 'Ramen Tomahawk'?
[Blake]: No, we're absolutely bringing that up later.
Ron, ignoring them, cracked his knuckles.
[Ron]: We doing this or what?
Rosa suddenly lunged at him, her scythe cutting through the air at unnatural speed. Ron barely dodged, the blade slicing clean through a metal crate behind him.
[Ron]: Oh. Great. Another fast one.
Joiner followed suit, raising his massive sword and bringing it down with a force that cracked the train's floor. Yang intercepted, slamming her fists against his blade, stopping it in place.
[Yang]: Oh-ho! You hit hard! I like that!
Joiner said nothing, simply shoving her back with sheer brute force.
Weiss dashed in, launching glyphs beneath Yang to steady her.
[Weiss]: Focus! This isn't a sparring match!
Pickler, meanwhile, vanished into the shadows.
Blake's ears twitched.
[Blake]: Something's off—!
SNAP!
Pickler suddenly lunged from the darkness, his massive scissors aimed straight for her neck—
Blake twisted at the last second, her shadow clone taking the hit instead.
SNAP!
Her clone disappeared in a puff of smoke. She reappeared on a nearby crate, her Gambol Shroud drawn.
[Blake]: Yeah. Definitely creepiest one here.
Roman Torchwick, watching the chaos unfold, sighed and lit a cigar.
[Roman Torchwick]: Welp. Guess I'll just sit back and watch my new friends handle this—
A staff swung at his head.
He barely ducked in time, stumbling backward.
[Roman Torchwick]: Oh, come on!
Ron spun his bamboo staff, eyes locked onto him.
[Ron]: Nope. You're fighting too.
Torchwick groaned.
[Roman Torchwick]: Ugh. Fine. But if I break a nail, I'm making you pay for my manicure.
The fight broke out in full.
