Knight distanced his eyes to the standing Lady Victoria, her eyes too lingering on him. It was a sort of welcome from her to escort her.

Knight walked down from the left standing point down the stairs, as he felt the grazing eyes of the Countess before the front door was clicked open. He dared not look at his brother, because he knew Edward might, in one way or another, know him or detect his physique.

"Miss Victoria…" Knight pointed out right after reaching Victoria's standing point at the ground near the staircase that led to the first floor.

"I certainly missed you…" Lady Victoria whispered, as suddenly as Knight's eyes looked around to see if someone had heard that. It was a foreign word from a ladyship to a guard. A word that too surprised Victoria, as she directly started climbing up the stairs, avoiding any gaze from Knight, and Knight quietly followed her with bigger strides not to lose her, from the pace she walked in.
