'To Lady Victoria Lancaster,

Have never held a pen to write to a ladyship… I know not if this was the best idea, but well,

I guess we shall in future know…

Anonymous…'

Larny read the letter quickly and hastily to Victoria. It was during the evening bath time, the usual Lancaster preparation before any dinner.

"He writes anonymously, my lady!" Larny exclaimed, as Victoria stood to take the letter from her. She read the words again, clearly repeating each one. She could deny it, but her gaze on the paper somehow forced a smile. She noticed the missing piece! And that 'y,' which had tried to be crafted properly but still…

"What if it is Prince William!" Victoria asked with fear in her eyes as she looked up at Larny.

"Should I dispose of it?" Larny asked, and Victoria shook her head.

"Brother probably has disposed of the rest of the papers. All of them, I think!" Victoria added wearily.
