There was courtship, and there was love, and a liking and probably a pinch of beauty in all of this. Prince Harry squared up the four as he stood on the first floor, left side, holding a glass of champagne that had previously been brought to him by some Winchester footman.

He sipped it once, twice… sweet! He observed through it, colorless, making him see the red verandah ground of the Winchester first-floor hall. And then he shook the glass a bit, and then he was back to his thoughts and to the observation of the men and women dancing.

Lady Victoria seemed a little odd when dancing. Was it that she knew not much of dancing, or was it the fact that Edward and the Countess had just forced her onto the dance floor? But anyway… none would notice. Edward was trying hard to shield her… but why not him?

He shook his head at that, as he called the opposite standing footman to get him another drink.
