Chapter 2: The School Belle and the Female Lead

The sudden commotion caught Wang Haoran off guard.

This was the first time he received such information since acquiring the Super Villain System.

Moreover, a new panel appeared in his mind.

When he opened the panel, he saw:

[Host: Wang Haoran]

[Combat Power: 89]

[Charm: 198]

(Note: The average value for normal adult men is 100.)

[Villain Aura: 99]

[Villain Points: 100]

[Skills: None]

This panel clearly displayed Wang Haoran's attributes.

Wang Haoran's family was well-off, and he was chauffeured to and from school, so it was normal for his combat power to be below average due to lack of physical exercise.

The charm value was nearly twice the average.

This was undeniably true.

Handsome, good at studies, and from a wealthy family.

He was recognized as the most handsome guy in school, with countless girls secretly admiring him.

"System, what does the Villain Aura mean? Is 99 high or low?" Wang Haoran communicated with the system through thought.

[Reply to Host: The Villain Aura is unique to you, similar to the Protagonist Aura that the main character possesses. The Protagonist Aura will not be lower than 300. Your 99 points are relatively low, and you might perish quickly.]

"Damn!" Wang Haoran cursed silently and then asked:

"Is there any way to increase the Villain Aura points?"

[Host can increase Villain Aura points by suppressing the protagonist, plundering the protagonist's opportunities, or taking the female lead's heart and body, among other methods.]

Take the female lead?

I like that!

Wang Haoran was thrilled and inquired further:

"If my Villain Aura points are equal to or higher than the protagonist's, does that mean I won't face a tragic end?"

[Host's understanding is not entirely correct. When your points are equal to the protagonist's, you will be the ultimate villain boss, able to survive until the end of the story. Only if your points exceed the protagonist's will you avoid a tragic end, but even then, it's only avoiding death.]

"So, it means the ending will still be tragic, just that I won't die," Wang Haoran said with some concern. He then asked:

"Can I kill the protagonist?"

[Congratulations, Host, for finally recognizing the essence of being a villain. When your points exceed the protagonist's by a significant margin, you will have a higher chance of killing the protagonist.]

"Looks like I'm destined to be at odds with the protagonist," Wang Haoran came to a realization.

"So, what's the use of Villain Points?"

[Villain Points can be used in the Super Villain Store for lotteries and item exchanges to help the host combat the protagonist. They can also be used to query information about the protagonist, female lead, and important supporting characters.]

"Store? Where is the store? Open it for me," Wang Haoran urged.

[The Super Villain Store is currently not open. It will automatically open when the host's Villain Points reach 500.]

"How do I get Villain Points?"

[Changing the original plot, successfully suppressing the protagonist, and other actions that benefit the host can all yield Villain Points.]

After the system answered this question, Wang Haoran got a general idea and started contemplating plans to deal with the protagonist.

"Call those two guys to school," Wang Haoran instructed Fan Jian.

"Uh..." Fan Jian looked surprised.

"Uh what? Just do it, no questions asked," Wang Haoran interrupted his questioning subordinate.

"Yes, yes," Fan Jian took out his phone and immediately complied.

After hanging up, Fan Jian reported that Fan Tong and Qin Shousheng were on their way to the school.

Wang Haoran nodded.

The two walked through the campus and headed towards the classroom.

"Hey, isn't that the big sister? Good morning!"

Fan Jian shouted towards a girl not far away.

Wang Haoran followed his gaze and saw a girl.

She was tall, with long, lustrous black hair.

Her skin was snowy white, and her delicate features were almost perfectly proportioned on her small oval face.

Even in a plain school uniform, she radiated a youthful and vibrant aura.

Such a girl could be spotted at a glance even in a crowd.

Her name was Xu Muyan.

She was the class monitor in Wang Haoran's class and was recognized as the school beauty.

Of course, she was also the female lead, or more precisely, one of the female leads.

In urban novels, it's rare to have only one school beauty for the protagonist.

Xu Muyan was smart and beautiful, and she seemed like a perfect match for Wang Haoran.

In the entire school, no boy was as outstanding as Wang Haoran.

In reality, Xu Muyan would undoubtedly like him.

But the silly author of this novel forcibly set up the plot such that Xu Muyan had no feelings for Wang Haoran and even somewhat disliked him.

However, Wang Haoran was deeply infatuated with Xu Muyan, like a lovesick fool.

Why?

Because Wang Haoran had such excellent conditions that he could easily attract many beautiful girls.

But he was only infatuated with Xu Muyan and looked down on other women.

As the plot progressed, Xu Muyan eventually became completely devoted to the protagonist and followed his every wish.

Under the protagonist's instigation, Xu Muyan even used Wang Haoran's love to help the protagonist kill him.

And even as Wang Haoran was dying, he still didn't blame Xu Muyan due to his deep love for her!

The original Wang Haoran was truly a tragic character.

"Damn that silly author. I don't want such a tragic ending for myself!" Wang Haoran cursed silently and began to sort out his thoughts.

At this early stage of the plot, Xu Muyan only treated the protagonist as an ordinary classmate.

As for her feelings towards him, she had only mild aversion and resistance.

Sure enough.

When Xu Muyan heard Fan Jian's loud shout calling her "big sister," she was both annoyed and embarrassed, her white face flushing with a hint of red.

Some students passing by also looked over curiously at the commotion.

A few students in small groups whispered among themselves, not knowing what they were discussing about her.

Xu Muyan was aware that Wang Haoran's subordinates often called her "big sister" in class.

This annoyed her greatly.

Now, they were shouting this in the campus, right in front of her.

While people in the class knew that she and Wang Haoran were not in that kind of relationship and understood the "big sister" title was just a tease.

But others from different classes didn't know the situation.

She didn't know what others might be saying about her behind her back.

"Fan Jian, don't say nonsense. I have nothing to do with Wang Haoran. Don't call me 'big sister'," Xu Muyan said with a flushed face, trying to correct the title.

"This was bound to happen sooner or later. After all, you're definitely our boss's, so just accept it," Fan Jian said with a grin.

"What do you mean I'm your boss's? Stop saying such things and don't call me 'big sister' anymore," Xu Muyan stamped her foot.

"Big sister, big sister, big sister..."

Xu Muyan told him to stop, but Fan Jian kept shouting and even got louder, drawing more people's attention.

This made Xu Muyan so angry her ears turned red.

"Shut up."

Wang Haoran intervened.

Fan Jian immediately stopped.

Then Wang Haoran approached Xu Muyan, stopping about a meter in front of her.

What's he going to do? Is he planning to hug me in public? Or even worse, try to kiss me?

Xu Muyan had a bad premonition and took a step back, wanting to escape.

But Fan Jian blocked her way.

However, Xu Muyan was determined to resist with all her might.
