Maverick Crus Beecham, known as Marx, is one of the Special Soldier Night Guards that serve the kingdom. He is said to be the most skilled and dedicated member. Raised by his only relative, Lawrence Beecham, the head of the special unit, after the tragic death of his parents. 

And one day Marx was suddenly given a sudden three month vacation from his uncle, to return home and inherit his title as a Earl. But during this time, he meets a charming and enigmatic nobleman who goes by Cherie. Despite their contrasting personalities, Marx’s serious demeanor and Cherie’s outgoing nature, the two form a powerful duo, bound by their private mission and so called DATE by Cherie.

It was a quiet morning at the estate, and Henry just finished delegating tasks to the house servants for the day.

Satisfied with their assignments, he made his way to his lord's chambers, intent on waking him. But when Henry arrived at the door of the master bedroom, his lord was nowhere to be found.

Puzzled, Henry frowned. He distinctly remembered greeting his lord, along with Lord Weston, when they returned the night before. His lord did tell him to retire early, promising to settle in on his own.

Henry hurried to the study room next, thinking his lord might have spent the night going over some important documents.

But upon opening the door, he found the study empty as well. His frown deepened, anxiety creeping in.

He quickened his steps toward Julius's bedroom, but after knocking and waiting, there was no sign of Julius either.
