"I have started into the voids that even you fear. You are no God, you are a cowardly worthless fraud. And there is only one way to deal with pathetic beings like you..."...
The Grey Ghost outstretched his arm and will all the rage-filled pain within him, yelled into the air. After he'd finished, he locked his gaze back onto the Void God's eyes.
"You asked me what am I... Allow me to tell you." The Grey Ghost's carrier arm folded onto his body. His tattered coveralls flapped in the wind and his cracked glasses fell to the ground.
"I am the Ghost of Ottawa, but more importantly... I was a 6th-7th grader who was lucky enough to be given a chance to speak to one of the few remaining Tuskegee Airmen. His words... "You are living proof that everything we went through...", Red and Blue energy began coursing through his veins, "that our sacrifices were...", that energy took command of ships, planes, and tanks that had been left behind.
The many ships' horns began to bellow, in unison, to the tune "Seven Nation Army", the aircraft fired their missiles that met up and formed into seven large missiles, and the tank parts repaired the Grey Ghost's damaged carrier arms. As the legions of vestiges appeared before the Void God, the Grey Ghost stood beside Lemuel Curtis and allowed the former Redtail to finish his sentence.
...were not in vain." "False God, Decerped Being, this young man may die with this action, but he carries us with him, our souls merged into his soul, we are one!"
Jesse Brown stood on the opposite side of the Grey Ghost. "With him, we, the collective of American Heroes, of folklore and formerly living history, hereby condemn you to judgment."
As the vestiges vanished, the Grey Ghost leaped into the air and a massive vestige form of the American caricature "Uncle Sam" appeared behind him. It mimicked the moves of the Grey Ghost, as he reached out his hand, it did and grabbed the large missile descending towards them.
"Of those who came before and from I who came after... I hereby condemn you to death, Void God of Eldritch Lineage... face the wrath... of American Contingency... Death before Surrender... GOD BLESS AMERICA!" Yelled the Grey Ghost through the Uncle Sam vestige.
That missile, that prototype Minuteman IV, a "Super-Nuke", missile clenched tightly in Uncle Sam's fist, slammed into the Void God's sternum. The entire sky went mental hospital white, as the blinding nuclear flash ripped across all of Greater Ottawa, all of Illinois, Iowa, and the Midwest, eventually, it would consume the entire United States in a blinding white flash of nuclear firepower unseen by mankind.
As the flash ended, the vestige of Uncle Sam was gone, the Eldritch Void God had been removed down to his last atom... but from the heavens fell the Grey Ghost, coveralls burnt up, body torched to a crisp falling to his death. As his consciousness slipped away, he uttered just a few words...
"Grandma... I... saved... them... all." His burnt-out vocal cords softly spoke up to the heavens with a desperate hope she could hear him. As his body slammed into the scorched Earth below, Dalor reappeared beside Shiva.
"Well, was he worth it?"
"Dalor...", The feminine goddess had tears running down her cheeks, "His words... they were beautiful, speaking to a woman who no longer walked the planet as he was falling towards death." She dried a tear and picked up the Grey Ghost's soul. It pulsed with power as looked more the the generic picture of an atom.
"All of those souls... What will you do with him?"
Shiva laughed. "I will grant him a choice, one that I know he would thoroughly enjoy."
As Shiva took the soul into her magenta-colored room, she set it down on a flower-like pillow.
"Wakey-Wakey... Grey Ghost... It is time to uphold your promise."
