Pokemon Movie 2000: The Power of One Part 3

(Not long, Mew and the others reach Shamouti Island shrine, and meet Slowking.)

(They also witness the battle between the three legendary birds.)

(which is interpreted by a large Pokemon that lives in the sea.)

Slowking: "The great guardian! Lugia!"

(Slowking says, astonished.)

Melody: "I can't believe it!"

(Melody says, shocked.)

Mew: "Lugia,"

(Mew replies, astonished.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Lugia!)

(Pikachu replies.)

(Then Eevee, says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Lugia!)

(Just then, Lugia lets out a call to the other legendary birds.)

(Melody recognizes the sound.)

Melody: "That sound!"

(and brings out her flute.)

(Mew then says to herself.)

Mew: "It… it's you…"

(Meanwhile, far away from the shrine, Lawrence spots Lugia through his telescope.)

(Lawrence III says.)

Lawrence: "Finally, my prize. It's magnificent. The beast of the sea will soon belong, to me."

(Soon, Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres begin to attack Lugia, but dodges effortlessly.)

(Lugia then folds down its back flaps and dives headfirst into the frozen sea.)

(Then creates another cyclone that nearly strikes at the birds.)

(Articuno then freezes the cyclone Lugia is in, but the beast is able to break free.)

(Lugia continues to fly and dodge the attacks, but all three birds strike at Lugia at the same.)

(but Lugia repels the attack and continues flying.)

(Seeing what is happening, Melody says.)

Melody: "Though the guardian of the sea shall arise to quell the fighting, alone its song will fail. Thus the earth shall turn to a child whom greeted Mew."

Slowking: "This looks bad,"

(Slowking says.)

Tomo: "You could say that again,"

(Tomo replies.)

(The three legendary birds continue to attack Lugia until it strikes at Lugia with full force, and causes it to fall into the sea.)

(Then the three seal the hole made from the impact.)

(Then the three legendary birds resume their battle.)

(Up in the air, the news chopper approaches Shamouti Island.)

(Adriana notices them.)

Adriana: "What are Mew and her friends doing out in this terrible weather? I'm worried about them."

Professor Oak: "Save a little worry for us!"

(Professor Oak says in a panic.)

Professor Ivy: "The fate of our planet is what we should really be worried about. And the Pokémon know that better than any of us."

(Professor Ivy says.)

(Meanwhile, somewhere in the frozen sea, a Gyarados performs Hyper Beam as it leads the Pokemon of the sea forward to Shamouti Island.)

(Since the water is frozen, all the Pokemon of the land are able to cross the ocean and approach the island.)

(The flying Pokemon also approach the island as well.)

(Soon, all the Pokemon halt near Shamouti Island.)

Tomo: "It's like every Pokemon in the world is here,"

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "I wonder if the Prehistoric Pokemon from the island are here too."

(Jen replies.)

(Seeing this, Slowking says.)

Slowking: "There's only one hope. Only the chosen one can bring together the treasures to help the water's great guardian."

Melody: "But the legend says its song will fail,"

(Melody says.)

Slowking: "And thus the earth shall turn to a child whom greeted Mew,"

(Slowking says, and turns to Mew.)

Melody: "But how are we gonna find the chosen one if we don't even know where to look?"

(Melody asks, devastated.)

(Just then Misty soon realizes.)

Misty: "It's right in the legend! The earth shall turn to a child whom greeted Mew!"

(Then Tracey turns to Mew.)

Tracey: "Mew it's talking about you."

Mew: "I'm the, chosen one?"

(Mew asks, her eyes wide in shock.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pikachu," (You are, the chosen one.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee Eevee," (And somehow we knew you're the one.)

(Eevee adds.)

(Mew is so shocked and says.)

Mew: "This… this is a lot to take in. I mean, I know that being a Pokemon trainer is hard, I… I never expect to save the world."

Misty: "I know it doesn't sound easy, Mew."

(Misty says.)

Tracey: "But you're the only one who matches the legend perfectly."

(Tracey says.)

Tomo: "And like you said, you had this feeling you need to do this, and it seems our Pokemon knows it too, especially since you were given the name Mew when you're found."

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "So maybe you somehow subconsciously knew you needed to go to the island to get the orbs."

(Jen says.)

Mew: "That seems possible, but still, this is overwhelming."

(Mew says.)

(With remorse, Melody says.)

Melody: "Mew, this whole thing is my fault. I –I never should've dragged you into this."

Mew: "It's not your fault Melody,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Mew right. Don't blame yourself. We always get ourselves into trouble,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew chuckles and says.)

Mew: "And trouble finds us."

(Then grows concern.)

Mew: "But this is so much…"

(Then Mew realizes.)

Mew: "What if… what if Lugia knows too…"

Jen: "What do you mean?"

(Jen asks.)

(Then Mew turns to the frozen sea.)

Mew: "I think it's been Lugia calling all along, and it reminds me of…"

(Suddenly, Melody realizes.)

Melody: "Lugia!"

(And brings out her flute.)

Melody: "The sound it makes is just like the song from the legend!"

Mew: "That's right. Its sound matches the song you were playing at the banquet."

(Mew says.)

(Melody begins to play the song of the legend through the chaos.)

(Underneath the sea, Lugia begins to glow and regains consciousness.)

(Just then, the cyclone rises from the sea with a glow and Lugia appears out of the tornado.)

(Through telepathy Lugia says.)

Lugia: "The song. The song has restored my strength. But it alone cannot bring harmony to the three warring ones."

Mew: "What do you mean?"

(Mew asks.)

Lugia: "When the treasures of fire, ice, and lightning are aligned, my song shall harmonize with their powers, and tame the beasts both above and below the sea. But this can come to pass only with the help of the chosen one."

(Lugia explains.)

(Then Mew asks.)

Mew: "But what can I do that somebody else can't?"

Lugia: "Only in the hands of the true chosen one will the ice sphere glow like the others, its power awakened."

(Lugia answers.)

(Mew looks ahead to see the Ice Island.)

Mew: "And the last sphere is on Ice Island."

Lugia: "The choice is yours. You must go only where your heart leads."

(Lugia says.)

Mew: "Where my heart leads…"

(Mew says and looks at the three waring Pokemon.)

(Just then, Pikachu gives Mew some encouragement.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu." (You can do it.)

Mew: "I can?"

(Mew asks.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (We know you can!)

(Eevee says.)

(Soon, many of Mew's Pokeballs come out of their Pokeballs, cheering for Mew.)

Mew: "You think so, too?"

(Mew asks.)

(All the Pokemon agree.)

(She then turns to her friends and all of them nod their heads.)

(Mew soon begins to tear up.)

Mew: "Okay. I'll do whatever it takes to get that third treasure. But, what if I mess up? What if... I…"

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "You can do it."

Melody: "We know you can,"

(Melody adds.)

Tomo: "She's right. You've done a lot to help Pokemon, even if it does get us into trouble. Of course trouble finds us,"

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "And the Pokemon you helped before might know that too. You're a good person."

(Jen says.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Thanks everyone. I can do this."

(Moments later, Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee set out for Ice Island, but the deep snow makes their travel slow.)

Mew: "Right now, I feel more like the frozen one!"

(Mew says.)

(She then trips and falls face first into the snow.)

(Then she gets up.)

(Mew sighs.)

Mew: "This will take forever to get to Ice Island. We need another plan."

(Just then, Pikachu calls out.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Look over there!)

(Mew looks to where Pikachu is pointing to and sees what's left of Melody's boat.)

(Then Mew has an idea and turns to Pikachu.)

Mew: "Pikachu, I think you just gave me an idea."

(Soon, Mew is now traveling on a small sled with Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charizard, and Pidgeot, pulling the sled.)

Mew: "This is a lot better than walking, guy! We'll be there in no time, now!"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (We're moving now!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (And it's better than walking!)

(Eevee says.)

(At the shrine, Misty says.)

Misty: "Good luck, Mew."

Tomo: "I wish we can do something to help Mew,"

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "Me too,"

(Jen says.)

(On the cliff above, Team Rocket watches as Mew rushes towards Ice Island.)

(Jessie shrugs her shoulders.)

Jessie: "She's always the hero.

James: "We're always a zero,"

(James says.)

(But James says.)

James: "We could be heroes, too, if we ever caught a break."

(Soon, they notice the helicopter the two professors and Adriana are in, and it soon crashes far away from them.)

(Thankfully, everyone seems to be in one piece.)

(Team Rocket peek out and spot the tail rotor turn off the helicopter from the crash.)

(Then look at the raft behind them.)

(Suddenly, an idea pops in their heads.)

Team Rocket: "I got an idea!"

(Meanwhile Mew and her Pokemon continue their adventure towards Ice Island.)

(But then, Moltres and Zapdos spot them, and try to attack them.)

(Charizard and Pkachu use their own attack to repel them, and the smoke of the resulting explosion blows away.)

(However, Articuno appears and heads towards them, but Lugia rescues them from getting frozen.)

(Zapdos and Moltres try to attack, but Lugia pushes them out of the way.)

(Articuno tries to attack, but Lugia intervenes.)

(Zapdos then launches its Thunder attack, and breaks the eyes before Mew and the others can get through.)

(Mew calls back Charizard and Pidgeot as the rest run along with her.)

(Everyone looks to see the battle continues and an ice wall is in their way.)

Mew: "Aw man. We'll never get there, now,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, the group hears the sound of the motor.)

(She turns around to see something or someone is coming towards them.)

Mew: "Who could that be?"

(Mew wonders.)

(Soon, she sees Team Rocket riding on the raft towards them.)

(And so, Team Rocket performs the motto.)

Jessie: If that kid thinks we're here for trouble…

James: We're certainly going to burst his bubble.

Jessie: Instead of causing tribulation…

James: We've undergone a transformation.

Jessie: Though it's way outside our usual range…

James: We're going to do something nice for a change.

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

Jessie: Up till now, Team Rocket's been quite unscrupulous.

James: Being good guys for once would be super-dupulous!

Meowth: That's right!

(Confused, Mew wonders.)

Mew: "What are they doing here?"

(Then Eevee says with a dumbfounded face.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eev," (Besides being weird.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (They're always weird)

(Pikachu comments.)

(Soon, Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee board Team Rocket's makeshift motorboat and fly over the ice wall.)

Mew: "You wanna help?!"

(Mew asks, surprised.)

James: "Of course!"

(James says.)

Jessie: "We don't want the world destroyed!"

(Jessie adds.)

James: "Even if we survived…"

(James says.)

Jessie: "There'd be no one left to steal from!"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "We'd be out of work!"

(Then Jessie wonders.)

Jessie: "Come to think of it, when was the last time we had a vacation?"

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "We'll be on a permanent vacation if we don't get to that island! Let's do it!"

(And so, the group have a temporary alliance, and the rush to Ice Island.)

(Soon, Moltres flies alongside.)

Mew: "It's Moltres!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Jessie cries out.)

Jessie: "Evasive maneuvers!"

Team Rocket: "On the double!"

(Team Rocket calls out.)

(The group narrowly avoid Moltres's attack.)

(Along with Zapdos' thunder, Lugia also forces it back.)

(Then Lugia blocks Articuno's Ice Beam.)

(The group continues to reach towards the island, and finally reach the frozen shore of Ice Island.)

(They race uphill towards the shrine where the sphere is.)

(Soon, they come across a cave.)

(Mew points out.)

Mew: "Up there!"

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Almost there!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (And we're at the shrine!)

(Eevee says.)

(The team races through the cave and finally comes out of the cave, over a bridge, and into another tunnel.)

(Finally, they reach the light of the cave, and fly out of the tunnel.)

(Soon, they stop at the foot of the shrine.)

(Pikachu rushes out.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (It's there!)

(Eevee and Mew approach the Articuno statue.)

(Eevee calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (The ice sphere!)

(Mew quickly grabs the sphere and pulls it out of the mouth.)

(Mew looks at the sphere to see a bolt from an Ice Beam attack inside the sphere.)

(Then Pikachu and Eevee call out.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika!/Eev!" (To the shrine!)

(And rush off.)

Meowth: "Okay, you got the third treasure! Now, come on! Let's get back to the island!"

(Meowth says.)

Jessie: "Right!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "I almost forgot!"

(James says.)

(Mew puts the sphere in her bag, and everyone rushes to the boat, but Articuno spots them.)

(Everyone hops inside the boat and departs before the Ice Beam hits them.)

(However, Zapdos' thunderbolt strikes, and sends the group flying.)

(Then Moltres fires the flames and destroys the boat while the group evade the attack.)

(However, the exit is blocked.)

(The three legendary birds continue to attack.)

(Ultimately, Moltres and Zapdos get the upper hand on Articuno, forcing it down.)

(Pikachu climbs up and calls out.)

Pikachu: "Pika! Pikachu!" (Up here! Hurry up!)

(Meowth, Eevee, and Mew hear Pikachu and decide to follow.)

Meowth: "Come on, let's go!"

(Meowth says.)

(Everyone follows Pikachu up the wall and down the slope of the mountain.)

(Soon, Lugia files in alongside them.)

Lugia: "The treasure?"

(Lugia asks.)

Mew: "I got it!"

(Mew says and pulls the treasure out.)

(Lugia nods his head and says.)

Lugia: "Get on."

(Mew puts the sphere back in her bag and calls out.)

Mew: "Piakcu! Eevee!"

(Pikachu and Eevee then climb on Mew's shoulder.)

(Then all three aboard Lugia's back.)

(Team Rocket is not far behind.)

(Jessie cries out.)

Jessie: "Don't leave without us!"

(Team Rocket manages to grab onto Lugia's leg as he takes off into the sky.)

(but Zapdos and Moltres go on the attack as they rush to Shamouti Island Then flies higher.)

(Lugia then says.)

Lugia: "Hold on tight."

(Everyone decides to do so, and Lugia continues to dodge the attacks left and right.)

(Then Jessie realizes something.)

Jessie: "We're slowing Lugia down! The three of us are too heavy!"

James: "Let's try Weight Watchers!"

(James says.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "It's too late for that!"

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I heard that it's never too late if you really stick to the program!"

(Lugia continues to fly as he dodges Zapdos' Thunder Attacks.)

Jessie: "If we don't let go, they may not make it back!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Let's protect the world from devastation!"

(James says.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Guess we gotta let go."

(Then Jessie asks.)

Jessie: "Are you guys ready?"

James: "Let's do it!"

(James says.)

(Then Team Rocket lets go of Lugia, and Mew quickly notices.)

(She exclaims.)

Mew: "What are you doing?!"

Team Rocket: "Team Rocket's blasting off for good!"

(Team Rocket screams as they free fall.)

(Mew cries out.)

Mew: "Team Rocket!"

(Jessie asks.)

Jessie: "Think we did the right thing?"

James: "I know we did the right thing, Jessie. And it feels great,"

(James says.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Well, this is it, then!"

Jessie: "Let's not say goodbye,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Let's just say…"

(James says.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "We're gonna die."

(And with that, Team Rocket falls into the ocean.)

(but quickly surface to find themselves face to face with a bunch of wild Pokemon. )

(Meanwhile, up above, Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee see the wild Pokemon themselves.)

(Mew asks.)

Mew: "Lugia! Why are all those Pokémon down there?"

Lugia: "Because they feel they must be here, in case they are needed."

(Lugia answers.)

Mew: "But what can they do to help?"

(Mew asks.)

Lugia: "They are not sure, and that is why they are here."

(Lugia says.)

(Then Mew asks.)

Mew: "What do you mean?"

Lugia: "That just one Pokémon could help the world would be worth the journey for thousands of them any day. But this day, the one that can make all the difference, is you."

(Lugia answers.)

(Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee nod their heads in reply as they're near the island.)

(Back at the island, everyone waits for Mew and the others to return.)

Misty: "Please, hurry,"

(Misty says.)

Melody: "Let's hope the, legend is true."

(Melody says.)

Jen: "Me too,"

(Jen says.)

(Suddenly, they hear Mew calling out.)

Mew: "Hey!"

(Everyone looks out to see Mew waving to their friends.)

(Suddenly back at the airship, capturing devices are being launched towards Lugia.)

(Mew turns her head and notices them as she cries out.)

Mew: "Lugia, watch out!"

(Pikachu, Eevee, and Lugia notice the devices flying towards them and set out to capture Lugia.)

(Soon, the devices capture Lugia.)

(Through his telescope, Lawrence sees the devices doing its work.)

Lawrence: "Soon, Lugia, you will be mine and my destiny will be fulfilled at last."

(Trapped in the devices, all four of them fall into the frozen sea, but quickly resurfaces.)

(Then Lugia performs a powerful attack and strikes at the airship, destroying it in the process.)

(Lugia flies up as it launches a powerful beam in the air, almost striking at the legendary birds Soon, all four of them fall into the sea.)

(Lugia continues to fall into the sea and loses consciousness.)

(Meanwhile, Pikachu and Eevee rise on the surface with Mew, who has lost consciousness.)

(Pikachu cries out.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Wake up, buddy!)

(Eevee cries out.)

Eevee: "Eevee! Eevee!" (Mew! Mew!)

(Down in the sea, Lugia continues to sin, and says his last words.)

Lugia: "I... have failed."

(before losing consciousness.)

(Up on the surface, another storm a brews, and it's the worst one of them all.)

(Tornados, rough seas, and lightning.)

(On the island, the rest of the gang worry when they see Mew in the ocean and be knocked out.)

(Just then, Melody hands Misty her flute.)

Melody: "Here. Take this."

(Misty is puzzled.)

Melody: "Legend or not, Mew can't do this alone."

(Melody says.)

(But Misty turns her down.)

Misty: "You'll have to play Lugia's song. I'll help the others go look for him. And Mew is never really alone because he's got… us."

(Misty and Melody take each other's hand and it seems the two have become friends.)

(Meanwhile, Pikachu and Eevee try to get Mew to shore but they don't have the strength.)

(Suddenly, they hear Misty's voice.)

Misty: "Mew!"

(Pikachu and Eevee turn their heads to see Misty swimming towards them.)

(Pikachu calls out.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu Pi!" (We're here, Misty!)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (We're over here!)

(Eevee calls out.)

Misty: "Pikachu! Eevee! ust hang on!"

(Misty says.)

(Misty pulls on the rope that's attached to herself.)

(Then, Tracey, Tomo, and Jen pull on the rope to get them to shore.)

(Once to shore, Tracey, Jen, and Tomo help pull Misty and the others out of the water.)

(Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Mew!"

Jen: "Mew's not moving!"

(Jen panics.)

Tomo: "Mew!"

(Tomo says in concern.)

(Misty then gives Mew rescue compression.)

Misty: "Come on, Mew! Breathe!"

Tracey: "You've got to!"

(Tracey says.)

(Pikachu calls out.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pi!" (Mew!)

(Eevee cries out.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Wake up!)

Tomo: "You have to!"

(Tomo cries out.)

(Misty says in distress.)

Misty: "Please, Mew! Please! You can't…"

(Soon, Mew begins to wake up, and bolts up.)

Mew: "The sphere!"

(She quickly reaches to her bag and pulls it out.)

Misty: "Mew, are you okay?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "I think so,"

(Mew says, and begins to get up on her feet.)

(She struggles to stay standing as she tries to walk to the shrine.)

Misty: "Mew!"

(Misty says in concern.)

Tomo: "Are you alright?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "I'll be fine. I need to do this. I need to end this."

(Mew says.)

(Mew soon begins to walk up the stairs to the shrine.)

(Despite feeling exhausted and struggling, Mew continues to walk up the stairs to the shrine.)

(Soon, Mew reaches the shrine, Slowking, Melody, and the other Pokemon notice.)

(Melody says in relief.)

Melody: "She made it!"

(Then Slowking asks.)

Slowking: "Have you brought the final treasure, Mew?"

(Mew gets out the sphere and presents it to Slowking.)

Mew: "Here it is, Slowking."

(Then Slowking points to the shrine.)

Slowking: "You must be the one to place it."

(Mew then walks up the stairs to the shrine platform.)

(Then places the final sphere in its place, facing Ice Island.)

(Soon, all three spheres begin to glow and a burst of light glows around the shrine.)

(Then a green light glows in the shrine and evaporates the snow and ice.)

(Then green water flows out of the shrine and flows across the area.)

(lighting up the runes around it and turning them into crystals.)

(Everyone is astonished by this.)

(Misty soon remembers.)

Misty: "The song!"

(Melody nods her head and goes to the shrine.)

(Mew smiles and nods her head.)

(Melody does the same.)

(Soon, Melody begins to play Lugia's song on the flute.)

(As she does, the runes light up green light with every note.)

(Far on the other island, Moltres and Zapdos regain consciousness.)

(Back on Ice Island, Articuno regains consciousness as well.)

(Then the weather returns to normal as the tornadoes fade and the sea calms.)

(Then the green water flows out of the shrine and down to the sea.)

(Soon, the green water covers the entire ocean.)

(Then Moltres and Zapdos begin to fly into the air.)

(Then Articuno flies along with the others.)

(Finally, rising from the surface and appearing from it is Lugia as the clouds disappear and the sky becomes clear.)

(Then Lugia lands on the foot of the shrine and closes its back flaps.)

(Lugia then gestures to Mew to climb on his back.)

(Mew points to herself in surprise, and Lugia nods his head.)

(Agreeing to this, Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee climb on Lugia's back and Lugia takes off into the sky.)

(Melody continues to play her role as Misty and the others watch Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee in the sky with Lugia.)

(Just then, a large cyclone rises from the sea, catching Mew and the other's attention in astonishment.)

(At the wreckage, Lawrence sees the cyclone of water rise from the sky.)

(Soon, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno fly alongside Lugia, Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee in the sky.)

(Soon, all the Pokemon from land, air and sea are returning home.)

(Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee look around in amazement.)

(Just then Mew notices Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos fly over Lugia.)

(And then, one by one, one of their feathers begins to gently float down to Mew until they land on Lugia's back and in front of Mew.)

(She looks to see Moltres' feather is a golden plumage with reddish-and orange, and yellow flames.)

(Zapdos feather is a bit spiky with black tips and has electric sparks coming out of it.)

(Articuno's feather is a sky blue feather and looks rather chilly.)

(Mew then picks up all three feathers, to realize they are gifts from the Legendary birds.)

(And soon, the spiraling water descends back to the sea.)

(Then Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos return to their represented island.)

(And so, Melody finishes the final notes to her song.)

(Once she's done, she collapses on her knees, realizes what has happened, and holds the flute in her hands.)

(Meanwhile, at Shamouti's village, Carol and the others look outside to see the storm is over.)

(On T.V the reporters say.)

the reporter: "And, as you can see from these live pictures, the severe weather that caused havoc around the globe has finally ended."

(Later in the evening, at the Shamouti Shrine, as the sun sets and Lugia prepares to depart as he flies up in the air)

(Lugia says.)

Lugia: "The beast of the sea has been tamed. The fate of the world could not have been in better hands."

(Mew couldn't help but smile in reply.)

(Then, Lugia says.)

Lugia: "And now, Chosen One, I shall present to you a special gift."

(Mew and the others become confused.)

(Lugia then reaches under its wing and then pulls something out and places it in front of Mew and the others.)

(To the group's surprise, the gift that Lugia gives to Mew is an egg.)

(It's silvery white like Lugia with three darkish blue stripes on each side.)

(On the egg is a beautiful silver-colored sparkling feather.)

Mew: "It's an egg,"

(Mew says, and picks it up.)

(Then holds the silver feather in her other hand.)

Lugia: "This egg has my offspring. I shall leave it in your care."

(Lugia says.)

Mew: "What?"

(Mew says, surprised.)

(Then asks.)

Mew: "Are… are you sure… I mean… this is your baby and…"

(Lugia nods his head and explains.)

(Then Slowking steps in and says.)

Slowking: "This is a secret part of the legend, so that only the Chosen One can receive it. Once the Chosen One tamed the Beast of the Sea and the world's balance is restored, the Great Water Guardian will bestow the egg of offspring to the Chosen One who has also proved to be pure of heart. Therefore the Chosen One and the Offspring shall become partners and be together forever more."

(Mew smiles and turns to Lugia.)

Mew: "Thank you Lugia. I promise to take good care of your baby."

Lugia: "I know that my child will be in good hands. Farewell Chosen one, and friends."

(Lugia says.)

(Lugia then flies up into the air and then dives into the sea, returning to his home.)

(Mew then looks at her egg and can feel how warm it is.)

(She can't help but smile as they'll have a new family member along the way.)

(Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice.)

???: "Mew! Mew!"

(Mew and the others turn their heads to see Adriana, Professor Oak, Professor Ivy, and Zeraora.)

(Zeraora falls to the ground and screams.)

Zeraora: "Oh, my lumbago!"

Mew: "Papa?!"

(Mew says in surprise and quickly runs to him.)

Misty: "Adriana?"

(Misty says just as surprise.)

Tracey: "And Professor Oak?"

(Tracey adds.)

Tomo: "And Professor Ivy?"

(Tomo adds.)

(Mew rushes to her father and they both embrace each other.)

(Adriana rushes over and asks.)

Adriana: "Mew, are you alright? What happened?"

Mew: "It's a long story,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "She's right. Mew just helped save the whole world!"

Tomo: "And helped rescue Moltres and Zapdos,"

(Tomo says.)

Jen: "And she's the chosen one of Shamouti prophecy."

(Jen adds.)

(Adriana notices Jen and asks.)

Adriana: "Who are you?"

Mew: "Oh, this is Jen. She's a new friend and started traveling with us."

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "It's nice to meet you Jen,"

(Professor Oak says.)

(Then asks.)

Professor Oak: "So what about saving the world."

Mew: "Long story short, a man was trying to capture Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, and Lugia, which caused crazy weather all over the world and nearly destroyed it. And it was prophesied that the chosen one can help restore balance, which is actually me. So with help, I was able to get the treasures of the island and brought here, and with Melody playing Luiga's song, the balance has been restored."

(Mew explains.)

(Then, Mew takes out the four feathers in small bottles.)

Mew: "And Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, and Lugia gave me their feathers."

(Then shows them the egg.)

Mew: "And Lugia gave me the egg of its offspring to take care of.

Professor Oak: "Oh my, you really have the legendary bird feathers. Amazing,"

(Professor Oak says, amazed.)

Professor Ivy: "And you meet the legendary Pokemons as well."

(Professor Ivy says.)

(Professor Oak then gently pats on the egg.)

Professor Oak: "And it seems that you'll be having a new family member."

(Zeraora and Mew look at each other and hug each other once more.)

(Then Professor Oak says.)

Professor Oak: "We've got to get back to Pallet Town and tell the other Pokemon researchers about this! Come on!"

(Both Professor rushes off.)

(Later that night, Lawrence stands in the wreckage of his airship and finds the Mew card that started it all.)

(He says.)

Lawrence: "How it all began. And how it'll begin,"

(Then picks it up.)

Lawrence: "Again."

(The next day, Mew and the others are ready to depart from Shamouti Island with Maren on her boat.)

(They soon say their farewells to Melody and Carol.)

(Melody then presents Mew a small box.)

Melody: "We want to give you this before leaving."

Mew: "What is it?"

(Mew asks, taking the small box.)

Carol: "Open it and find out,"

(Carol says with a smile.)

(Mew opens the box and is surprised to see a shell flute that looks a lot like the one Melody has.)

Mew: "You're giving me your flute?"

(Mew asks.)

(Melody giggles and holds out her flute.)

Melody: "No. I'm giving you your own flute. That way, you can practice playing Lugia's song."

(Then gently pat the Lugia egg.)

Melody: "Besides, it will be good to practice the song for your little Lugia."

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Thanks Melody. You too, Carol."

Carol: "Truth is, we should be thanking you. And well, kind of apologize to you for getting you involved."

(Carol says.)

Mew: "It's cool. There's no hard feeling. From what I understand, you never know what life is going to lead you."

(Mew says.)

Melody: "I hope we can see each other again someday,"

(Melody says.)

Misty: "Maybe someday, we will. And maybe you can visit us in Kanto."

(Misty says.)

Melody: "Maybe,"

(Melody says.)

(A few minutes later, Mew and her friends depart in Maren's boat for another part of their adventure as they say goodbye to Melody, Carol, and the locals of the island.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket is climbing up the cliff until they reach the Shrine of Shamouti Island.)

Jessie: "Who'd believe it?"

(Jessie replies.)

(Then James says.)

James: "For once, we were heroes."

Meowth: "Too bad nobody saw us,"

(Meowth says.)

(Suddenly, Slowking steps forward towards them.)

Slowking: "Guess again."

(Team Rocket looks up to see the Slowking, which catches them by surprise.)

Jessie: "What... Did you... Say?"

(Jessie asks, still surprised.)

Slowking: "Lots of people saw what you did out there. And all of them are watching you right now."

(Slowking says and turns his head.)

(So does Team Rocket.)

Jessie: "Oh, then I guess that bad guys…"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Are finally…"

Meowth: "Good guys!"

(Meowth happily adds.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "So, then, we're not bad!"

James: "That's good!"

(James says.)

(But then Meowth asks in concern.)

Meowth: "What if da boss finds out?"

James: "That's bad!"

(James replies.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "We'll start our own team!

James: "That's good!"

(James replies.)

(Then Meowth says in worry.)

Meowth: "But we got no money!"

James: "That's bad!"

(James replies.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Then we'll just steal some!"

James: "That's good!"

(James says, but soon asks.)

James: "Or is that bad?"
