Chapter 18: Tanks A Lot!

(Today, Mew and her friends have found a quiet spot where they can enjoy a well deserved rest before heading to the next Johto gym.)

(Everyone is fast asleep under the tree, even the Pokemon.)

(Well, almost all of the Pokemon, Togepi and Pichu are the only ones wide away.)

(Togepi walks to Pikachu and says.)

Togepi: "Togepi." (Wake up, Pikachu.)

(But Pikachu is in a deep sleep to respond and rolls over.)

(Togepi and Pichu sit with pouts on their faces.)

(They both soon look at the sky and begin to sleep as well.)

(Just then, a Pokemon arrives on the scene.)

(A small mammalian Pokémon covered in brown fur.)

(It has long, dark brown ears with dark pink interiors, beady black eyes, and a small mouth.)

(While it is capable of standing on its hind legs, it typically moves on all fours.)

(It has a round body with wide arms and two small feet.)

(On its belly is a white ring and there are dark brown stripes around its tail.)

(The little Pokemon walks over with a confused look as it has a bitten apple in its mouth.)

(Meanwhile, a different Pokemon begins to ask it kind of around for something.)

(However, it ends up getting a no in response.)

(The Pokemon asking is very worried.)

(Meanwhile...)

(Team Rocket are at it again with one of their schemes.)

(This time, they have a large machine-like tank that looks like an Arbok.)

Jessie: "We can't miss with this!"

(Jessie says.)

(Meowth laughs.)

Meowth: "HAHAHAHA! Dis has gotta be our best invention yet! And it handles nice, too."

Jessie: "With this weapon in our arsenal, victory is guaranteed! And designing it to look like a giant Arbok is a stroke of genius if I do say so myself. It's the perfect Pokemon to represent us!"

(Jessie happily says.)

James: "I still say Weezing would have been a better choice."

(James says in response.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Forget Weezing! Now let's see, what shall we call this magnificent machine?"

Meowth: "How about the Arbotank?"

(Meowth suggests.)

(James likes the name.)

James: "I like that! It sounds so military!"

(A periscope lowers in front of Jessie.)

Jessie: "Good."

(Jessie says, and begins looking through the periscope.)

Jessie: "Now, we know those kids must be around here somewhere. Let's see."

(Soon, Jessie spots them sleeping under the tree.)

Jessie: "Huh? Bingo. it's them! Twerps spotted at 12:00, and that's not even the best part."

(Jessie says.)

James: "It isn't?"

(James questions.)

(And Meowth asks.)

Meowth: "What is?"

Jessie: "They're all fast asleep."

(Jessie answers.)

James: "Oh."

(James says.)

Meowth: "I though you was gonna say they had a pepperoni pizza with extra anchovies we could swipe."

(Meowth says.)

(But Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Don't you see? This gives us the perfect opportunity."

James: "While they're still asleep, we can capture Pikachu and Eevee."

(James says, happily.)

Meowth: "Good idea, only problem is if we roll up in this thing, the noise is gonna wake èm up!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then Meowth brings the Arbo-Tank to a stop.)

(Meanwhile, while the gang is asleep, the little Pokemon looks to see Togepi and Pichu asleep.)

(It finishes eating the apple and tosses the core aside.)

(The little Pokemon shakes Togepi to wake it up, but accidentally rolls Togepi down the hill, causing the brown Pokemon to pursue.)

(Pichu wakes up to see what has happened and follows.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket is trying to come up with a plan.)

Jessie: "Here's the plan: We'll snatch Pikachu and Eevee and use the Arbotank for our getaway."

(Jessie says.)

James: "When naptime's over, those kids, will be in for a rude awakening."

(James says.)

Meowth: "Any plan that involves rudeness is hunky-dory with me!"

(Meowth says.)

(Jessie then says.)

Jessie: "All right! Let's start Operation: Pikachu and Eevee!"

(James and Meowth say.)

James and Meowth: "Yeah!/Okay!"

(Meanwhile, Togepi comes to a stop and wakes up from his nap.)

(That's when the brown Pokemon and Pichu arrive.)

(The three soon begin to get along and begin rolling down the hill again with glee.)

(But then they roll off the cliff and fall inside the Arbo-tank and the hatch closes.)

(Meowth is the first to hear the noise.)

Meowth: "Uh oh! Hey, I think I just heard some kind of noise."

Jessie: "A noise?"

(Jessie questions, and turns around.)

Jessie: "Now that you mention it..."

James: "I think I did hear something."

(James says.)

(They soon spot Togpei, Pichu, and the little brown Pokemon inside.)

Jessie: "Look! Togepi! And Pichu, too!"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "And look! There's something else sneaking around in there with it!"

Meowth: "Oh no! Them three's playing around right next to the control panel!"

(Meowth says in a panic.)

(In the Arbo-tank, the three young Pokemon are inside playing.)

(Togepi then jumps on the lever, causing the Arbo-tank to move forward.)

(Team Rocket quickly jumps out of the way while their weapon speed away.)

(Meowth cries out.)

Meowth: "Hey! How'd they do that?!"

(Jessie angrily turns to James.)

Jessie: "James! Don't tell me you forgot to put the parking brake on!"

James: "Alright, what would you like me to tell you, then?"

(James asks, nervous.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Hurry! We gotta catch em!"

Jessie and James: "Yeah!"

(His teammates agree.)

(Then Team Rocket rushed after their machine.)

(Inside the Arbo-tank, the three Pokemon are having a good time.)

(Meanwhile, Misty finally wakes up from her nap.)

(Misty yawns and stretches her arms.)

Misty: "I needed that."

(But soon notices that her Pokemon are gone.)

Misty: "Huh? Togepi? Pichu? Togepi? Pichu?"

(Meanwhile, a bigger Pokemon stands beside Mew and taps her shoulder.)

(Mew mumbles to herself in her sleep as she begins to open her eyes.)

(When she opens her eyes, she sees the brown Pokemon.)

(Mew sits up and says.)

Mew: "Oh, hello."

Misty: "Huh?"

(Misty says, confused.)

(Soon, everyone else begins to wake up.)

(Misty notices the Pokemon.)

Misty: "Hey, what kind of Pokemon is that?"

Mew: "That's a Sentret."

(Mew says and brings out her Pokedex.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Sentret, the Scout Pokemon, A Normal Type. Sentret is able to see great distances by rising up on its tail. When it spots an enemy or any kind of danger, it emits a loud, shrill cry as a warning."

Tomo: "Hey! Sentret seems pretty cool!"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "It seems worried, too."

(Misty says.)

(Mew then asks the Sentret.)

Mew: "What's wrong?"

(Sentret begins to explain as she holds the apple core and explains her story.)

Mew: "Oh no."

(Mew says.)

Jen: "What is it?"

(Jen asks.)

Mew: "Apparently, this Sentret is looking for her little brother, and he's missing. They were having apples with another Sentret and her brother disappeared. She's wondering if we've seen him."

(Mew says.)

(Sentret nods her head to confirm it.)

Brock: "I don't recall seeing another Sentret around."

(Brock says.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "Brock! Maybe Sentret can help us find Togepi and Pichu."

Brock: "Togepi and Pichu gone?"

(Brock asks, shocked.)

(Suddenly, the group hears a loud crash, and turns to see a dust cloud moving uphill over the horizon.)

(Jen asks.)

Jen: "What is that?"

(Sentret uses its tail to get a better view, and the group is impressed.)

(Sentret looks careful and sees something.)

(Realizing something, Sentret runs off, with Pikachu and Eevee following it.)

Mew: "Something's wrong."

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to the others.)

Mew: "We better follow them."

(Everyone agrees and begin to follow Sentret together.)

(Meanwhile, the Arbo-tank is ramming into a rocky wall.)

(Inside it, Togepi, Pichu, and little Sentret are playing inside.)

(Soon, the Arbo-tank moves again as Team Rocket pursues them.)

(Meowth pants in exhaustion.)

Meowth: "What do we do If we can't catch up with de Arbo-tank, Jessie?"

Jessie: "Don't start worrying!"

(Jessie says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Just keep running!"

(Suddenly, the trio stop to see a large number of Sentret hurrying towards the Arbo-tank's path to block it.)

(Sadly, the tank forces them to move out of the way.)

(Then the Arbo-tank rides between the narrow cannon.)

Jessie: "Oh no! It'll be ruined when it scrapes against those rocks!"

(Jessie cries out in shock.)

(Then James shouts in anger.)

James: "YOU BETTER NOT PUT A SCRATCH ON THAT TANK! NOT AFTER I EMPTIED TEAM ROCKET'S BANK ACCOUNT TO BUILD IT!"

Jessie: "What? You spent our savings?"

(Jessie asks, shocked.)

Meowth: "All of it?"

(Meowth asks, just as shocked.)

James: "Well, sort of."

(James says.)

Meowth: "But! I switched from my top of the line, gourmet grub to the cheap chow to save that dough!"

(Meowth cries.)

(Then James cries out.)

James: "I suffered, too! I adore expensive bonbons but I made do with hard sucker candy instead!"

Meowth: "Oh yeah?! We'll we're the suckers!"

(Meowth says.)

James: "What do you mean? I sacrificed just as much as you to save that money! What about Jessie? She didn't do anything to help out!"

(James questions.)

(But Jessie says.)

Jessie: "I CERTAINLY DID! I almost never order caviar anymore and I cut back to only one dessert per meal!"

James: "She had dessert!"

(James says.)

Meowth: "YEAH!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then Jessie scolds James.)

Jessie: "This isn't about me, it's about you! You never should have spent our life savings without getting permission from me!"

James: "Ooooh, I'm sorry Jessie, I just wanted you to be proud of me! I'll never spend our money like that again!"

(James cries.)

(Then Meowth points out.)

Meowth: "YEAH! Coz we'll never have any money again!"

(Meanwhile, Mew and the others follow the Sentret through the Arob-tank's path.)

Mew: "Guys, there it is! It looks like another contraption dreamed up by..."

(Mew says.)

(But stops her sentence to find Team Rocket running beside them.)

(They soon stop to see each other.)

Mew: "Team Rocket!"

(Mew exclaims.)

Jessie: "It's the twerps!"

(Jessie exclaims.)

Mew: "I should have guessed you three were behind that big, weird thing!"

(Mew angrily says.)

(Then Meowth shouts.)

Meowth: "Dat tank happens to resemble a Pokemon colleague of mine, so don't call it weird!"

(then crosses his arms.)

Meowth: "Da nerve, if it was so weird you shouldn't have let Togepi and Pichu swipe it!"

(Hearing the statement, Misty is shocked.)

Misty: "WHAT?! Togepi and Pichu are inside of that thing! TOGEPI! PICHU!"

(and charges after it.)

Tomo: "Misty! Wait up!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(Then Meowth points to Sentret.)

Meowth: "The squirts had an accomplice in the heist, and it looked a little like one of you!"

(Sentret is shocked to hear it and runs off.)

Jen: "That must be Sentret's little brother."

(Jen says.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Sentret! Misty! Wait for us!"

Brock: "Alright!"

(Brock says as he throws his Pokeball.)

Brock: "This is a job for Onix!"

(Omix is released from the Pokeball.)

(At the front, Misty and Sentret are trying to save their friends.)

(Suddenly, Brock calls out to her.)

Brock: "Misty!"

(Misty turns her head to see the others riding on Onix.)

Mew: "Come on! It's faster this way!"

(Mew calls out.)

(She reaches out and Misty grab's Mew's wrist.)

(Then Mew pulls her up on Onix as Sentret hops on from the other side.)

Misty: "Thanks for the lift."

(Misty says to Mew.)

(Then turns to Brock.)

Misty: "Brock, what do we do, now?!"

Brock: "I've got an idea, but we've gotta cut em off at the pass!"

(Brock says.)

(Meanwhile, James calls out.)

James: "Hey, twerps!

Jessie: "This is all your fault! You better do something fast!"

(Jessie screams.)

(Then Meowth shouts.)

Meowth: "If that dinky delinquent of yours wrecks dat Arbotank, you're gonna pay!"

(Meanwhile, the Arbo-tak's drill comes out of its mouth and destroys the rock wall in front of it.)

(Then raises its head to bring out boxing glove arms to destroy more of the canyon, and lets out a mighty roar.)

(Inside the tank, the three little Pokemon are having fun, like this is a game.)

(Somewhere on the canyon, Mew and the others see the Arbo-tank from above.)

Brock: "It's just like I thought, that tank can plow through anything."

(Brock says.)

Mew: "And it doesn't stop no matter what's in its way!"

(Mew says.)

(Misty turns to Brock.)

Misty: "Brock, didn't you say you have some idea on how to stop it?"

Brock: "Yeah!"

(Brock answers.)

(Soon, Brock and the others are dressed in military gears.)

(Brock has a pointing stick and shows them the land and mapping a plan for attack.)

Brock: "Okay, troops, listen up."

(Brock says, and points to the X on the map.)

Brock: "This is a map of the surrounding region. The Arbotank is currently proceeding directly towards us, destroying everything in its path in order to maintain a straight course. Our objectives are to stop the Arbotank's progress and rescue the Pokemon that are inside. This is where Operation: Sink Tank comes in. First, we'll have Onix dig a deep, wide hole here, right in the path of the Arbotank, and we'll fill in the hole with chunks of earth from the surrounding cliffs. We'll have our Pokemon use their Water Gun attacks to soak the earth and turn it into a soft, wet mud. Then, when the Arbotank comes along, it'll fall in and be trapped!"

Misty: "Then we rescue Sentret, Pichu, and Togepi!"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "RIGHT!"

(Brock says.)

Brock: "When we're certain that the Arbo-tank is stopped, we'll need a few good Pokemon to enter the vehicle, their mission will be to search and rescue those Pokemon!"

Mew: "That'll be our mission!"

(Mew answers, bravely.)

(Pikachu, Eevee, and Sentret are on the mission.)

(Then Jen says.)

Jen: "Snubbull, Amaura, and I will help out."

Brock: "OKAY! Now we need a trainer with Water Pokemon. How about you?!"

(Brock says and points to Misty.)

(Misty raises her hand.)

Misty: "Yes, sir! I volunteer!"

Tomo: "I volunteer too!"

(Tomo says.)

Brock: "We're gonna have to work fast to make this operation a success! So let's move it out!"

(Brock says.)

(All the humans salute.)

Everyone: "YES, SIR!"

(Even the Pokemon agree.)

(Soon, Onix begins to dig the hole and fill it.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Poliwag, Staryu, Golduck, Sobble, Psyduck, Ducklett fire your Water Gun."

(Tomo calls out.)

Tomo: "Staryu, Sealeo, Wooper, use Water Gun too!"

(With that, all the Pokemon are firing their Water Gun Attacks.)

(Brock then sees the Arbo-tank.)

Brock: "There's not much time! It's coming this way!"

(The Arbo-tank continues to approach them.)

(Misty turns to her Pokemon.)

Misty: "Come on, everyone, pump faster!"

(Inside the tank, the little Sentret accidentally pulls a lever, causing it to speed up.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Mayday! The Arbo-tank is picking up speed!

(Everyone turns to see the Arbo-tank is coming closer.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Come on! Head for cover!"

(Everyone quickly moves out of the way as the Arbo-tank falls into the hole.)

(Once fallen in the hole, it lands face first and has come to a stop.)

Misty: "It worked!"

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

(and she slides down the hole.)

Mew: "Let's go!"

(Mew says, as she, Pikachu, Eevee, and Sentret follow.)

(Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet follow after.)

(Misty continues to call out.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!

(Soon, Misty arrives at the windshield to see her Pokemon.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

(Misty says relieved.)

(The two little Pokemon soon say hi to their mommy.)

(Mew then opens the hatch on top, so they can go in.)

Misty: "Don't worry, we'll get you out of there."

(Misty reassures.)

(However, Sentret, who is tangled in the wire, struggles to break free.)

(Then Sentret calls out.)

Sentret: "Sentret!" (Little brother!)

(Little Sentret turns to see his big sister, and moves around on the wires trying to break free.)

(However, moving the wires causes an electrical surge, and the Arbo-tank to move.)

(Soon, the Arbo-tank lifts itself up before Mew and Tomo can get in, Pikachu and Eevee, Meloetta and Skwovet fall into the tank.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

Tomo: "Meloetta! Swkovet!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

Sentret: "Sentret." (Little brother)

(Sentret calls out.)

(The little Sentret moves around again, and causes the Arbo-tank to move.)

Tomo: "There it goes again!"

(Tomo says, shocked.)

(The Arbo-tank soon begins to fire a missile, creating a path for it to exit the pit, and speeds away.)

Brock: "We almost had it!"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "But now Pikachu, Eevee, Meloetta, and Skwovet are inside."

(Mew says.)

(Misty turns to Psyduck and calls out.)

Misty: "Help us, Psyduck! Now! Psychic attack!"

Psyduck: "Psy?" (Huh?)

(Psyduck replies, inside.)

(Misty slumps.)

Misty: "Uhhh, now what are we going to do?"

(Suddenly, Jessie's voice appears.)

Jessie: "Sit back and enjoy the show!"

(Everyone turns to see Jessie and James standing on the rock, and begins to do their motto again.)

Jessie: We've got something prepared you won't believe!

James: What's doubly deceiving is up our sleeve!

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

(Mew and the others, including Sentret crawl up out of the Sink-trap.)

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

(Then Jessie throws the card.)

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight!

(And has Pidgey after Pidgey flying out of the top hat.)

(And soon, Meowth comes out of the top hat.)

Meowth: Meowth, dat's right!

Tomo: "What's up with them?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "And how they get the Pidgey?"

(Mew wonders.)

(Then Misty asks.)

Misty: "Why are they dressed like magicians?"

Jessie: "Cause we've got a trick!"

(Jessie answers.)

(Then James says.)

James: "We've found a way of making large objects disappear that will simply amaze you!"

Meowth: "Observe closely!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then Team Rocket presents the Arbo-tank as they count down.)

Team Rocket: "1. 2. 3."

Jen: "It's gone!"

(Jen says, surprised.)

Brock: "Let's go check it out!"

(Brock says.)

(Everyone rushes to where the Arbo-tank disappeared to, turns out it's just stuck in a giant hole.)

Mew: "It's not magic. It's a gigantic hole."

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock asks.)

Brock: "Why'd they make such a big deal out of it?"

Misty: "They dig these all the time."

(Misty says.)

Jen: "And we end up falling in them."

(Jen adds.)

(Suddenly, Meowth begins talking like a quivery old man.)

Meowth: "This is no ordinary hole, young lady!"

(James does the same.)

James: "First we selected the site."

(So does Jessie.)

Jessie: "Then we made observations and calculations."

(And Meowth says.)

Meowth: "And Then we handcrafted a one of a kind, custom hole."

(Soon they say with pride.)

Team Rocket: "Nobody can get themselves into a hole better than Team Rocket can! It's our specialty! When we dig we dig with three-o! We're a great trio, trio, trio!"

(and soon the three are dressed as Dugtrio.)

Misty: "Okay! This is getting way too weird."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Agree."

(Mew says.)

(Everyone soon heads over to the head of the tank.)

Misty: "If only we could get down there."

(Misty wonders.)

(Suddenly, Meowth is heard laughing and he leaps far and high onto the head of the tank.)

Meowth: "Finders keepers!"

(Meowth says.)

Misty: "Meowth!"

(Misty says, surprised.)

Mew: "Meowth, be careful!"

(Mew calls out.)

Meowth: "Relax, I'm just going in to take charge."

(Meowth says and jumps inside.)

(Soon, Meowth enters the cockpit.)

(Arriving, Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Okay, everybody, I'm in charge here!"

(However, Meowth finds all the Pokemon tangled up.)

Meowth: "Huh? What are you doing?"

(Meowth asks.)

(Upon seeing Meowth and knowing what he's planning, Pikachu gives Meowth an electric shock.)

(The Thunder Shock ends up causing the Arbo-tank to activate a spring mechanism from underneath, allowing it to escape from the hole.)

Tomo: "It's hopping away!"

(Tomo calls out.)

Mew: "Never heard of a hopping tank before."

(Mew says.)

(Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Oh look, James."

James: "Must be spring time."

(James says.)

(Soon, Mew and the others are in pursuit again, this time, Team Rocket is close behind.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Hold on, Meowth!"

James: "We'll save you!"

(James calls out.)

(Meanwhile, a Pokemon who sees the tank quickly move out of the way.)

(Then the spring from the tank breaks off, causing it to roll on the trail once again.)

Brock: "The Arbo-tank will flatten anything in its way!"

(Brock says.)

(Mew turns to Sentret.)

Mew: "Sentret, warn the other Pokemon."

(Sentret agrees and runs up to a rocky spire and lets out a cry, warning the other Sentret and Pokemon in the area.)

Misty: "Hear that?"

(Misty asks.)

Jen: "Pretty loud!"

(Jen says.)

Brock: "They have to be! That's the way the Sentret protect themselves!"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Brock's right!"

(Mew says.)

Mew: "They use their voice to communicate long distance and warn their friends when danger's near!"

(Hearing Sentret cry, the other Sentret and Pokemon evacuate from the area.)

(Meanwhile, in the Arbo-tank...)

(Meowth walks to little Sentret.)

Meowth: "Alright, come on. Let's go. This ain't no playground, ya know!"

(But little Sentret pulls on Meowth's whiskers.)

(Meowth screams.)

Meowth: "Let go of my whiskers! That don't tickle, ya know! Oh, come on! What'd I do to you?! Gimme a break, will ya?!"

(Just then, the Pokemon spots a rock wall up ahead and is about to ram it.)

Meowth: "If we don't figure out some way to stop, those rocks are gonna stop us!"

(Meowth panics.)

(Meanwhile on the ground...)

(James says.)

James: "It's going too fast! If the tank hits at this speed, it'll be destroyed!"

(Everyone is in shock to hear what James says as the Arbo-tank gets closer to the wall.)

(Meowth reaches the control.)

Meowth: "Let's see. Where're they hiding the brakes on this thing?!"

(Suddenly, Togepi begins to use Metronome.)

(The Pokemons panic.)

(Meowth cries out.)

Meowth: "I guess this is it!"

(Misty cries out.)

Misty: "Togepi! Pichu!"

(And the next thing they all know, there is a big loud boom, and a cloud of dust.)

Jen: "Where'd the Arbo-tank go?!"

(Jen asks, shocked.)

Misty: "Maybe it did disappear this time!"

(Misty wonders.)

(But Brock says.)

Brock: "No. It must've drilled its way straight through the mountain!"

(Jessie happily says.)

Jessie: "James, that rock drill was a stroke of pure genius. I just love that Arbo-tank."

James: "With options like that, no wonder the sticker price was so high."

(James replies, in surprise.)

(Soon enough, everyone assembles, including Jessie and James for a new plan.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "Alright, troops, we're gonna have to change out battle plan. The Arbo-tank's much tougher than I first estimated. As we just saw, even a mountain couldn't stop it. There's no reason to believe that any natural obstacle will knock it off its course. Judging from its current direction, it's going to wind up right, here."

(and points to the X that is actually a town.)

(Everyone is horrified to hear it.)

Misty: "If it does, it'll destroy that town!"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Not if I can help it!"

(Brock says.)

(Then Mew asks.)

Mew: "Okay, Brock, what's your plan of attack?"

Brock: "We're gonna need Charizard."

(Brock says.)

(Everyone becomes surprised as Brock suggests.)

Mew: "Charizard?"

(Mew asks.)

Brock: "It's the only Pokemon that stands a chance against that thing."

(Brock says.)

Brock: "We'll send Charizard ahead to stop the tank long enough to get Pikachu and the other Pokemon out safely. Then, Charizard can use its Flamethrower attack and destroy the Arbo-tank."

(Jessie and James are horrified with the plan's conclusion.)

(Jessie shouts.)

Jessie: "You can't be serious! Do have any idea how much that Arbo-tank cost us?!"

James: "You're gonna have to pay if you destroy that tank, missy!"

(James adds in anger.)

(But Misty shows her own furry.)

Misty: "NO, WE'RE NOT, AND THE NAME IS MISTY!"

James: "Oh, sorry."

(James says.)

(Then Mew throws her Pokeball and calls out.)

Mew: "Charizard, I choose you!"

(Charizard soon flies in the air as the others follow while riding on Onix.)

(Brock says to his Pokemon.)

Brock: "Onix, follow Charizard to the Arbo-tank!"

(Meanwhile, the Arbo-tank is punching and drilling its way through the mountain until it comes out the other side and closes in on the town ahead.)

(In the town, officer Jenny hears a sound and turns to see a cloud of smoke.k

officer Jenny: "What's that?"

(In the Arbo-tank, Meowth looks at the map and sees a town up ahead.)

(Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "Look up ahead! If we don't stop, we're gonna plow right through that city!"

(Suddenly, Chaizard flies in and lands on the ground, ready to stop the tank himself.)

(Meowth tries to pull the lever.)

Meowth: "I'll try this."

(But the lever breaks.)

Meowth: "I guess dose were da breaks!"

(Meowth panics.)

(Outside of the tank, it makes a pair of scissors come out, with a Pidgey cuckoo clock out of the chest, and rockets fire out of the back.)

(Meanwhile, everyone makes it through the tunnel and spots the fireworks.)

James: "All our money's going up in smoke!"

(James panics.)

Mew: "Well, here we go!"

(Mew says.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Charizard, stop the Arbo-tank!"

(Charizard then uses his brute strength to stop the Arbo-tank in its tracks, causing the Pokemon tangled in the wire to fall and break free.)

(Charizard struggles to keep it from going further.)

Misty: "It's no good! It's still moving!"

(Misty panics.)

Mew: "Hang in there, Charizard!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Then Brock says to his Pokemon.)

Brock: "Come on, Onix! Hurry!"

(Just then, Sentret leaps off Onix's head.)

Misty: "Sentret!"

(Misty calls out.)

(Sentret rolls into a ball and rolls behind Charizard to give him some help.)

(The Arbo-tank is closing in on the town.)

(In the tank, Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "Dat city will be a ghost town an' we'll be da ghosts if we don't stop dis ting right now!"

(Pikachu and Eevee turn to each other and nod.)

(Then send their electric attack on the control panel, destroying it, but the Arbo-tank continues on as Charizard and Sentret try to keep it from moving forward.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Onix, grab on to the Arbo-tank's tail!"

(Onix does so and pulls with all its might.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Now, use Flamethrower to melt the window!"

(Chairzard does so and melts the window, revealing a seared and shocked Meowth.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Everyone out! Hurry!"

(Hearing that, Pikachu, Eevee, Meloetta, Skwovet, gather the young ones and hurry out.)

Meowth: "Hey! Where are you going? Wait for me!"

(Meowth cries out, but soon notices the place is short circuiting,")

(Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "I think this thing is gonna explode!"

(Jessie and James run towards the tank.)

James: "We can't let the Arbo-tank blow up!"

(James cries out.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "It's all we've got left!"

James: "If we hurry, maybe we'll have time to save it!"

(James says as he and Jessie climb inside.)

(Mew and the others soon run away and right on cue, the Arbo-tank explodes, sending Team Rocket blasting off.)

(Jessie sobs.)

Jessie: "Now what do the three of us have left?!"

(James moans.)

James: "A tankless job!"

Meowth: "Yeah, but somebody's gotta do it!"

(Meowth says angrily.)

(Then all three scream.)

Team Rocket: "TEAM ROCKETS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!"

(Down below, Mew and her friends watch as the Arbo-tank has blown up and is now on fire.)

(Mew sighs in relief.)

Mew: "Well I'm glad that's over. Great job everyone!"

(And Misty disciplines her little ones.)

Misty: "And you're both not driving again until you're eighteen!"

(Togepi and Pichu feel bad because they made their mom worried and mad.)

(Even the big sister Sentret disciplines her little brother, which makes the little brother feel bad.)

Brock: "Boy, the people down there are lucky we stopped that tank."

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "You can say that again."

(Tomo says.)

(Just then, Officer Jenny pulls up on her motorcycle, and says.)

Officer Jenny: "It was you?"

(Everyone turns to see her.)

Mew: "Officer Jenny."

(Mew says.)

Officer Jenny: "I've been looking all over for you. Are you the ones responsible for that tunnel?"

(Officer Jenny asks, and turns to the hole.)

Mew: "Well, not on purpose to be honest."

(Mew sheepishly says.)

Misty: "Yeah. It's kind of a long story."

(Misty says.)

Officer Jenny: "Oh, I can't thank you enough!"

(Officer Jenny says, making everyone confused.)

(Then Officer Jenny explains.)

Officer Jenny: "Before you came along, everybody in town had to drive all the way around the mountain if they wanted to get to Violet City. Now that we have a way to drive straight through the mountain, it'll cut the time it takes to get there in half."

(Misty chuckles.)

Misty: "The Arbo-tank did some good."

Brock: "Team Rocket finally had a success. Right?"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Accidents do happen."

(Mew says.)

(The Pokemon happily agree.)

(The two Sentret happily walk to Misty and stick with her.)

(Togepi and Pichu are happy to see their friend.)

(Misty smiles and says.)

Misty: "you both seem really close with Sentret."

(Then kneels to the two Sentrets.)

Misty: "So, you both wanna come with us?"

(The two Sentret turn to each other and begin to smile.)

(They then nod their heads and hug Misty.)

Mew: "Well Misty, it looks like you have two friends."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Yeah, and Togepi and Pichu got a new friend."

(Misty happily says.)

(Togepi, Pichu, and Little Brother Sentret are happy that they can stay together and be friends.)

(It shows that all that ends well, the Arbo-tank ends up helping the town.)

(Misty has two new pokemon.)

(Togepi and Pichu have new friends.)

(Mew and her friends are able to save the town from the tank.)

(And with that, Mew and her friends will continue on their journey to the next city for the gym.)
