Marcus, the Duke of Ashwood, stood in the dimly lit auction room, his eyes scanning the line of women on display. He was a man who got what he wanted, no matter the cost. And tonight, he wanted a new pleasure maid.

The auctioneer's voice droned on, but Marcus's attention was fixed on one woman - Laura. She was beautiful, with a fiery spirit that intrigued him. He knew he had to have her.

As the bidding began, Marcus didn't hesitate. He raised his hand, his voice firm, and the auctioneer nodded in recognition. The bidding war was fierce, but Marcus wouldn't be denied. He bought Laura for a handsome sum, and she was led away, now his property.

Marcus didn't care about Laura's thoughts or feelings. She was a tool for his pleasure, nothing more. He had no intention of treating her with kindness or respect. She was a slave, bought and paid for, and she would do as he commanded.

As he left the auction room to sort businesses.

As Marcus arrived at his estate, he was greeted by his loyal butler, Jenkins. "Welcome home, Your Grace," Jenkins said, bowing low. "I trust the auction was successful?"

Marcus nodded, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "I acquired a new pleasure maid. See that she is prepared for me."

Jenkins nodded, his expression neutral. "Yes, Your Grace. I will see to it immediately."

Laura was led to a luxurious room deep within the estate, where she was bathed, perfumed, and dressed in a revealing gown. She was then brought to Marcus's chambers, where he waited, sipping a glass of wine.

"Ah, Laura," Marcus said, his voice low and husky. "You look stunning. I can see why you caught my eye at the auction."

Laura's eyes flashed with defiance, but she said nothing. She knew her place.

Marcus's eyes roamed over her body, his desire growing. "Tonight, you will learn your duties," he said, his voice dripping with menace. "And tomorrow, you will begin your training."

Laura's heart raced with fear, but she knew she had no choice. She was a slave, bought and paid for, and she would do as she was told.
