Chapter 39 (Way Back To School)

Mahi cried out loudly after winning her first official national tournament and couldn't stop. First reason for her such a huge victory but second that her mother is not with her to see it. But her grandparents calmed her down and she went to her conference.

Reporters started questioning and everyone was amazed that a 17 year old girl has won a national chess tournament.

"Congratulations Mahi, how are you feeling after this huge victory?"

Mahi thought for a second and Ishan's smile was coming in her mind all the time and she smiled and said, "... I don't know... I guess. Someone dear to me's face is coming in my mind but unfortunately he is not here."

"... Who is he?"

And Mahi laughed gently and said, "... Um... I guess love." And Mahi laughed.

"Uh, yeah. I guess if he wouldn't have came in my life, most probably I could be never here. Although it's going to be a year since we last met and talked. I hope he's doing great."

And Lisa was lying on her bed and watching the conference and gave a super chat and wrote, "Is he Ishan?" And she started giggling.

The chat went to the commentator and they asked directly, although they were having no hopes that it will be Ishan only.

"Lady Mahi, is that guy's name Ishan?"

And Mahi was stunned for a second and suddenly got a smile with a sweat and said, "... Can we change the topic?" And she laughed.

The commentators and the reporters were shocked and reporters were going to go in depth but commentators stopped it because it was something personal for Mahi and that topic ended.

Ishan > Why did you sent a super chat with exposing her personal life?!!!

Lisa got the message and she laughed and understood that Ishan is also seeing the live stream.

Ishan stood from the place and yawned with feeling lazy and said, "... Now I should go back to the stadium."

And Ishan moved back to the stadium.

Sara and her team were on dominance with 52 - 28 and the third quarter ended.

And finally Ishan came back to the court side where Jiyu, Era, Eiro, Cyet and Aid were sitting and talking and Ishan sat on the bench.

"Hey, where were you all this time?" Asked Aid with staring at Ishan.

Ishan replied with calmness, "I was just relaxing out. It was fun." And laughed and looked at Aid.

"Whatever, do you even take care of your love? You not even saw her match. Such a bad boy."

And Ishan turned towards everyone and they were looking a little bit angry from him.

But Ishan didn't said anything. He knows that one bad step,and he will have to hear too much again.

And the match ended with Sara's victory and they all gathered and started talking about how the match was and discussing about the flaws and difficulties.

"Yo, good game, Sara."

Sara turned back and smiling Ishan was standing there to congratulate her.

Sara also smiled and said, "Thank you, but it was nothing as compared to yours... You seriously scored 50 points all alone! That's incredible."

Ishan laughed and said, "Thank you. Now, having any idea that whether we are going to school right now or not?"

And Sara started walking with Ishan and answered, "Um... Most probably we are going soon because there is no match left for today's schedule."

Ishan gave a sigh and said, "Lucky."

All the students of School Lotus gathered in front of their bus and started entering in it to move back to the school.

Koyo School shacked their hands saying goodbye and the bus started.

Whereas Ivan, Noah and Elisa moved back to homes by Ivan's car.

And Ishan finally got his last seat back and with being relaxed continued chilling.

But suddenly Miss Naya arrived and sat next to Ishan and said, "Thank you... Ishan for making Curv's friend."

Ishan shifted giving enough space to Miss Naya and said, "Don't say thanks for that... He is also a kid like me. And he is a good boy as well."

And Miss Naya stared at Ishanand suddenly laughed.

"Um... Did I said something too much funny?" Ishan was confused that why Ma'am is laughing, he said what he actually thought.

"No, nothing." And Miss Naya stopped laughing and said, "By the way, now what you have done, I guess I will have to leave school now."

And everyone was shocked and looked back at Miss Naya. And Ishan was now more confused that... What wrong he has done that Miss Naya will have to leave the school?

"I joined school because I was a teacher before giving birth to Curv, then I left to lives peaceful life with my son. But when he stopped talking, I was one of the most depressed woman. And to escape from that, I joined school again but... Curv has started talking to me again so... There's no reason to escape anymore."

And Ishan smiled with a sweat and said, "Um... Should I welcome about it or should I say sorry?"

And Miss Naya and Sara got a laugh by hearing this reply of Ishan to Miss Naya.

"He is someone who does everything for others and when it is done, he thinks he is no more needed and will chose to become alone."

Sara suddenly recalled about yesterday when Lisa gave her theory on Ishan's mental thoughts like what makes he think that he should be alone.

Lisa continued and looked at Sara, "Listen, I am not interested in Ishan until his story, plannings and thoughts come in the way. But I want you, to make Ishan feel that he is not needed because his work in their life is finished, despite he is needed because someone loves him like you, his big brother, Mahi or anyone. Our life is too short and we should enjoy it but Ishan is making other's life better but his own life completely miserable."
