AT THE BACK OF THE TEMPLE
Lyrx walked towards Santaliel and Orly, where she saw them laying on a serene field of grass
"It's time for us to return to mount Lyrota" She announced with a gentle voice, drawing their attention towards her
" It's time to go back already?" Santaliel said as he turned to face her, a hint of wistfulness in his voice.
"I'm afraid it is" Lyrx said
" Well, Thank you for bringing me to the Earthly realm " Santaliel smiled at Lyrx as he sat up " I was able to discover aliitle bit more about myself" he said as he thought about the seal of enchantment and the fact he can be seen by humans
" I'm glad" Lyrx gave a soft smile as she gracefully waved her hands and a blue door appeared,it opened revealing the same blinding light that seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy as the one she opened in Santaliel's room
Santaliel got up and Orly followed and he walked towards the door but he came to a halt and looked back at the temple and whispered underneath his breath but loud enough for Lyrx to hear
"I hope I see her again"
Lyrx glances at him with a hint of sadness in her eyes and Together, they stepped into the radiant light, and the door closed behind them, leaving the Earthly realm behind.
*******
Beyond the bustling town of Thorin, a dilapidated church stood, its facade worn by time, and just in front of the building, the sound of children running around and giggling filled the air, a stark contrast to the building's neglect . Inside the building,in a small room with a window at one corner which seems the be the only source of light for the room, Leila was seated on a small bed covered in brown dusty like sheets and a young teenage girl with black short hair sat next to Leila, excitement glowing in her black orbs as she listened to Leila talk
"So tell me more about this strange guy you met" Olivia, the girl seated next to Leila asked with curiosity etched on her face
Leila hesitated, a soft smile on her lips. "There's not much to say Liv, he's not from here, he's from a place called Mou and he has this bright green eyes,I've never seen anyone with eyes those bright and he's really nice ,at first he was weird and all but he turned out to be such a nice gentleman" Leila narrated
" You've said quite alot for someone who didn't have much to say" Olivia chuckles "so clearly you have affections towards...what was his name again"
Leila's face flushed as she hears Olivia's Comment "I do not have affections for him and his name is Santaliel" She defends
Olivia playfully rolls her eyes " Then why are you blushing as you're talking about him"
"I'm not blushing,my face is probably red due to the cold" Leila defends as she cups her face with her hands "besides I don't know if I will ever see him again,he might have gone back to his hometown" She says as she lets go of her face
" Well if the gods will it, then you'll meet him again" Olivia said with a reassuring smile.
Leila gazed out the window, her voice barely above a whisper. "I hope I see him again."
BACK AT MOUNT LYROTA
Ares sat in his golden mighty chair that seemed had to been crafted specially for him with intricate designs on it as he gazed out the golden window of his Chambers being lost in thought when he sensed a familiar presence
"Haven't I told you to stop coming here unannounced Cecile"
"You should have thought about that before giving me access to your spectacular Mansion" Cecile said as she appeared in Ares chambers with her revealing white garb, her beauty as radiating as ever
"Well I'm sure the goddess of the sun's abode is by far greater than mine" Ares scoffed
"Without you in it,it doesn't feel so great" She said as she walked up to him and sat on the arm rest of his grand chair giving off a seducing smile " did you return with any new special wine from your journey"
He sighed and waved his fingers and a jaded bottle appeared and he handed it to Cecile "as a goddess you shouldn't be seen with such yearning eyes for alcohol"
" And yet you always bring an extra bottle for me, such a romantic guy you are" She said as she ran her fingers down his hard curved chest
"You would take mine if I don't bring an extra for you" He said as he gently removes her soft delicate hand from his body
" The more you reject me, the harder I fall you for" She smiles as she stood up and walked towards the window "I heard the underworld has been making little suspicious movements lately"
Ares placed his hand on the arm rest of the chair and rests his head on his hand " I'm sure it's nothing serious, after the last war they can't try anything funny but I'll send some of my Elites to check on it"
" that's the god of war, always getting things done" She smirked " I'm sure you have it under control"
"I'm sure that's not the only reason you're here" Ares said
" As expected, you always see right through me,you can also see right inside me if you want" She gave off a seducing smile
" Never gonna happen, get to the point" He shot back
"Tch,I'm just coming from the Earthly realm and came across one of your offspring"
Ares raised an eyebrow " which one?"
"The odd one" Cecile describes
" What's did you do" Ares asked his voice firm
" I might have told him about the seal placed on him" She confess " and before you say anything or start to get upset,I had no idea he was yours, and I only told him he had the seal of enchantment on him and nothing more and it might have made the poor Lad more curious"
"After all these years, your carefree attitude never changes" Ares said
" Come on,how can you say that" She smirked " you should open up to your son and tell him the truth ,it's better he hears it from you than from someone else"
" Telling him would do him more harm than good" Ares says and he leans back on his chair and stares at the ceiling
"She would have wanted you to tell him the truth" Cecile said with a hint of sadness in her voice as she looks out the window and Ares exhales and remains quiet
" He deserves the truth, keeping him in the dark is only going to hurt him more," Cecile said a hint of Care etched in her tone
" Thanks for the wine, I'll be sure to enjoy it" She says as she slowly disappears, leaving only Ares in his Chambers.
"I know you came to advice me, but it's hard to tell him the truth when he looks so much like her" Ares mutters to himself
