As the cat spoke, Zhang Lian's fists clenched tightly in anger. Her eyes narrowed, barely containing her anger. She forced her mouth in saying, "Continue."
The cat noticed her angry posture and anger in her eyes. Scared, the cat continued hesitantly. "You'll also get 1 Normal Point for giving birth to a child successfully (per child)
Additional points will be added if the child has talent for cultivation, depending on the level of their spiritual roots, but only the highest one is counted ."
The cat continued explaining, trying to clarify the point system for Zhang Lian.
"If you have two spiritual roots of the same level, say both level 2, you will only get points based on the level, not the number of roots."
So, if you have two level 2 spiritual roots, you'll still get 2 points in total, note 4. The same goes for having just one level 2 spiritual root; you'll still receive 2 points, as the system only counts the highest level .
The cat, still trembling, said, "To earn special points, you need to buy this pack." It extends its paw towards the screen.
The screen had a slightly glowing, digital appearance, with text appearing as if it were gently floating in mid-air. The cat's paw moved over the option, and with a soft "," it pointed to a highlighted section of the menu.

The exclamation mark next to the Newbie Pack is from more details. The cat, trying to appear helpful despite its fear, tilted its head and gestured toward the pack with its other paw, eyes wide with nervous anticipation, hoping Zhang Lian wouldn't be too upset.
The cat hides his body in the screen, as it peeked out cautiously, monitoring her reaction.
The cat, still cautiously peeking out from behind the screen, continued, "For just 49 Normal Points, the Newbie Pack includes skills that will help you earn Special Points."
Zhang Lian, asked curiously, "What kind of skills? Explain them."
The cat nodded quickly, its paw trembling as it clicked on the glowing exclamation mark on the system window. The screen changed and expanded, revealing the details of the Newbie Pack.

- Dual Cultivation Skill:
- When used, this skill turns your partner's cultivation into NP for the host by draining it through sex. However, it is ineffective on the same gender.
- Talent Absorption Skill:
- This skill can only be used on people related to you. The closer the relation, the stronger the effect. This technique doesn't need sexual activity; it can be used by using your hands or moving into a particular range or arrangement. Since the procedure moves slowly, someone who is powerful enough to try to escape might be able to do so.
The minimum requirement to use skill is, you should at least be able to get 1SP point or it will not work.
But if it is your Direct descendant you will always get 1SP or more depending upon, whether they have talent or not.
However, this skill will absorb their talents, but it will result in their death. Performing it together with the Dual Cultivation Skill grants both benefits simultaneously.

The cat's eyes widened as it looked up at Zhang Lian, trying to guess her reaction. It pointed to each skill with a trembling paw, hoping she would find them useful and not lash out again.
The screen softly glowed with each skill description.
Zhang Lian read the descriptions, her eyes narrowing as she started to understand. A dark chuckle came from her as a twisted smile spread across her face.
"So, you want me to drain my husband's power and absorb my own children's talent, even killing them and their descendants, just to get stronger?"
Her hands clenched into fists, but she didn't hit anything. Instead, she relaxed, and her smile grew wider. She leaned back a little, crossing one leg over the other, her shoulders no longer tense with anger which this cat kept giving her.
The cat, sensing something was wrong, quickly hid inside the system, thinking it was about to get punished again. Only its eyes peeked out from the screen, watching nervously.
But Zhang Lian didn't get angry, "Nice. I was worried about having to deal with thousands of kids in the future, but you just gave me a solution." Her eyes sparkled with cold satisfaction.
Leaning back again, she stretched her legs out in front of her, her hands resting casually in her lap.
"You might not know this," she said, her voice low, "but in my past life, when I was in 9th grade, I got a girl pregnant.
When she told me we had to take care of it together and she didn't want an abortion, I ran away in fear of what my parents would say, what my neighbor or relative would say and ended up living on the streets, like beggars."
Her smile turned into a sneer, and her eyes narrowed as she added, "I've always hated kids because, how happy they look when going to school, picnic or trip together with their family with a happy smile unlike me, who had to run away because of that kid who wasn't even born. I have hated the kids since then.
Zhang Lian, her eyebrows knitting together. "But why does it cost 49 points? Shouldn't the newbie pack be free?"
The cat peeked out from the screen, waving its paw. "Host, nothing is free! Newbie packs are just cheap. Look at the other items in the shop, and you'll see what I mean. Let me show you."
With that, the system screen expanded, displaying a variety of items available for purchase. The shop window was neatly organized, with items categorized by type.
