"Go to your seats, students," Ms. Alia said as she entered class.
"Okay, students, let's take attendance," she said and started calling names.

"Okay. Everyone is present. Then let's start the class." Ms. Alia started.
Today's morning class is about mana. This is the theory class. After the break, it will become a practical class. I liked fantasy and magic stuff, so I paid extra attention to it.
"As I said over and over, it's all about your imagination. Think about what you want; move your mana. Control it, think about what changes you want, and command in your mind to change mana the way you want."
'I already know that' if I'm being honest. In my former world, all I'm confident about is my memory power and my combat senses. But I didn't fully utilize it all. But now, if I utilize all of my and Jadel's capabilities, I'm sure I can survive in this world… Maybe.
Suddenly, something hit my forehead.
"Ouww!" I let out a small, painful sound.
"See, that's how you use your imagination," she explained as a ball-like thing hovered around her finger.
"Cadet Jadel, are you even listening to my class?"
"Y-yes"
"Then why are you sitting there dazed?"
"It's nothing," I said nervously.
"What's nothing… Tell me how a magic missile works." She asked a question.
"Ah-mm-eaa. I…don't know"
Bam!
"Argha!" I yelped in pain as another mana ball hit my forehead.
"Cadet Jadel," she called my name fiercely. "You're going to change classes. Follow me after the class is over."
"... What i-im gonna change class. Why!?"
"We'll talk in the office room."
'The fuck. Changing classes, be–ahaa, it's that thing'
Ding! Dong!
The bell rang, announcing it's break time. I got out of the classroom and walked to the bathroom.
"Haha. serves him right, haha," a student said while laughing.
"When the teacher announced his rank, I was surprised he was still in class A2," his friend said.
"I also thought about that, but now his luck has run out."
"With his current rank, he will be last or second in class."
'These fuckers are enjoying someone's misery. One of the dirty natures of humans. Well, I'm also glad for the class change. I can now completely avoid the main cast.
'Now the story won't alter much because of me. I don't have a plan to alter the story, but I also want to survive in this world.
Bam! Thud!
I was sent flying by a sudden attack to my face as I stepped to the bathroom. My vision blurred, and I felt nauseated. I tried to stand up, but my legs wobbled as I lost strength to stand up.
Feeling a tight grip on my hair, someone lifted my head. I looked to see who that person was but couldn't see because of my blurred vision.
Bam!
"Kaugh!" I felt breathless as a punch connected to my stomach, vomiting blood. I grasped for air.
I felt a frim grip on my hair again.
Slap!
"W-who a-re y-you" I asked in a strained voice, yet there was no answer. All I got was a barrage of slaps.
Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap!
I couldn't feel much pain as my cheeks numbed. Suddenly, he stopped for a moment. 'H-huh he stopped, i-is gonna g–'
Crack!
"ARGHAAAA," I screamed at the top of my lungs. as my right hand bone is broken.
Crack!
He broke another bone.
"ARGHHAA. WHO ARE YOOUU–"
Bang!

I woke up in the same bathroom.
"Arghaa!" I gunted in pain, assaulted by the sharp pain in both hands and my head.
"Who the fucker did that?" I spated out in anger, "Whoever it is, I'm going to find you fucker. And make you go through hell." As that guy said, there are students who hold grudges against Jadel, and since he is powerless now, something like this will keep happening until I get strong.
"Fucking hell. I will come and meet you fuckers that hold grudges against Jadel."
Taking out a healing potion from my spatial watch, I gulped it down. After two to three minutes, the injuries healed.
'I should learn regeneration skills. It will save quite a bit of money. Getting up, I slowly walked to my dorm.
Getting inside my room, I lied on the bed.
"I need to find a way to get stronger, or else fuckers like this will keep coming to me. I need to start making plans." It's time to leave my pathetic side and take over Jadel's traits.
Closing my eyes, I fell asleep.

Inside a room that was filled with different kinds of technologies, a middle-aged man sat there, immersed in his work. With his disheveled hair and wrinkled clothes, his appearance looked messy.
He kept moving here and there, checking the technologies and writing something.
"What's this small fissure?" He closely observed a holographic screen. "It's slightly different from the normal cracks. Is a new species going to appear from the cracks?" The man thought for a second.
"Maybe I should inform them about the weird readings coming from the fissures," he said, and he walked out of the research lab to inform them of the findings. As he left, the readings changed completely for a few seconds and came back to the former reading.

"Aaghaa, my head hurts." I woke up in the morning with a slight headache. "What do I do? I don't want to go to cla– Ahaaa fuck, I didn't visit Ms. Alia yesterday." I quickly jumped out of bed and rushed to the bathroom.
"Fucker. You better be careful not to be found out by me." cursing him, I took a quick shower. Changing my clothes, I rushed to Ms. Alia's office room.
Knock! Knock!
"Come in." Opening the room, I entered it.
"Ah, it's you. Why didn't you come yesterday? You also skipped practical class."
"Ah, thats, I got some problems; that's why I couldn't make it to class."
"What a problem a 15-year-old kid will have! Don't give me any excuses. Sigh. Cadet Jadel, we are demoting you.
I'm sorry to say this; you don't have a bright future as a hunter. Your rank potential is A- rank. Even if you fully reach A- rank your strength would be around B rank or C rank" she paused.
"We are not going to kick you out of the academy, so don't worry about that. We will test your strength and other capabilities, rank you, and place you in the right class." She said this and got up.
"Follow me; we are going to the testing area."
"Good morning, Ms. Alia." Arriving at the testing area, a middle aged man welcomed Ms. Alia.
"Good morning, Mr. Greills " Ms. Alia greeted him back.
'If a person looks middle-aged here, that means he is over 80 years old.'
"Is this the child you said about?" he asked.
"Yes," she nodded.
" Okay." He nodded his head. "Follow me, kid; let's first test your strength." Nodding my head, I followed him.
I stood in front of a machine. It looked like a big box with a screen connected to it.
"Punch with your full strength," he said.
Taking a deep breath and standing in a boxing stance, I punched the box, exerting all my strength.
Bam!
—43
"Eh, punch again," he asked.
I punched again.
—42
Seeing his stupefied face, I asked, " Is there any problem, sir?"
"I heard about your damaged mana veins, but I didn't think this much was affected. An average F ranker strength should be around 50 to 59. And your rank is F+, right?. You're lucky you didn't become a complete cripple."
'Im fucked'
"Let's check your speed."

"Don't take this to heart, kid, but your career as a hunter is partially over. Without healing your mana veins yo– the world of hunters is cruel. You know it, right? Think twice if you're becoming a hunter." Giving me advice and a warning, he walked to Ms. Alia to give her my rank assessment results.
'I know that, old man, but this world's fate is already decided; everyone is going to die anyway. And my plans are to alter it and save a few humans to continue humanity and my loved ones if I get any.'
I walked to Ms. Alia's side. "It's quite bad compared to what I expected," she mumbled, looking at my assessment results.
"Do you want me to ask your parents to help you with yo–"
"I don't have something like that," I said in a frim tone.
"Jadel It's not the time to play with your life and future. It's not time to hold your grud–" I cut her off firmly and said it again.
"I don't have something like that, Ms. Alia; don't waste your time." She only looked at me without saying anything.
"Ok then. Your new rank will be 2500." She changed my rank. "Your new class will be E10. I will inform the teacher. You can go to your new class now."
I got out of the testing area and walked to my new class. 'I'm the last ranked one, huh? I should be glad that I didn't get kicked out of the academy.'
Every year, 2500 students enroll in the academy. They don't despair, even if they rank low. If you show your strength and growth, you can climb up the ranks at any time.
Some talented individuals rank lower because of their circumstances, so the academy took that into consideration and made this rule.
"May I come in?" Arriving at the new class, I asked the teacher for permission to enter.
"You're Jadel, right? Come in" nodding I entered the class. Smiling at me, she started to introduce me to the class. "He is Jadel, and he will be your new classmate as of today. Get along well with him."
"Jadel! He demoted to this low?"
"Hey, who are you calling low?"
"No, i'm not calling–"
"Is this bastard now our classmate?"
"Mind your language, students," the teacher said angrily. She looked at me, changing her expression instantly, and showed me a sweet smile. 'Ahaaa. An angel'
"I'm sorry about their personality, Jadel." she apologised
"No, no, it's okay. You don't have to apologize," I said in flustered 'Why is she apologizing to me anyway?'
"My name is. Elisabeth. You can call me Ms. Elisa." She pointed at an empty seat. "Take that empty seat. The owner of the seat promoted to another class" nodding I walked up to the seat and sat there.
"Now let's begin the skill class. My personalized skill. Element Explosion"
