Lyon eventually agreed to Tony's persistent request to tag along. After all, the Resident Evil world posed no real threat to either of them.
Even in the unlikely event that Tony was infected by the virus, they had the vaccines and serums he had developed as a precaution. It was almost like a vacation for them.
The last time they had a family trip was back when Lyon graduated from middle school. Tony, Pepper, and Lyon had gone to Dubai together.
What was supposed to be a vacation had turned into a three-day party at a villa. Lyon, fresh out of middle school, had a lot of whore—ehm*—whole other graduation there.
This time, going together to the Resident Evil world felt like a way to make up for missing their high school graduation trip.
Lyon waited in his room. Tony still needed a few hours to add some recording equipment to his armor to document their journey through the dimensional crossing.
While waiting, he suddenly remembered that a virus also appeared in the Iron Man movie.
The name is Extremis Virus.
This virus can give the host super regeneration, super strength, speed and other extraordinary abilities.
Some hosts also have the ability to create fire and electricity.
This virus may be available and used as a reference for the development of S-virus!
So Lyon immediately contacted Natasha.
"What's the mission?" As soon as the call was connected, Natasha got straight to the point.
"Why are you so honest? Can't it be that I want to care about the living conditions of my dear subordinates?" Lyon said sternly.
"It's not eight o'clock in the morning. I really can't think of anything else that a man who just refused to pay me a salary four days ago would do if he calls me at this time other than arranging tasks."
"Well..." Lyon didn't expect Natasha to be so resentful, "Well, I have a mission."
"Hmm, I am in an office building in New York and the surroundings are safe now." Natasha said that no one eavesdropped on the conversation.
"Do we have a widow working undercover at A.I.M? I need a virus called Extremis that they are researching." Lyon stated his intention.
"Yes, we do have an agent embedded in A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics), the ones behind Extremis—what you're calling the Extremis virus. The widow codenamed Trish previously worked there as a mid-level researcher."
She responded quickly.
"You can pick up the virus reagents in Tennessee in three hours, or I will send them to you in Los Angeles at 2 p.m."
Natasha's work efficiency is sky-high.
"Let me go, it's faster this way." Lyon couldn't help but click his tongue, "I have to say, the sisters are really amazing!"
"Then you can spend more time drinking with them. They have been thinking about you for a long time. That's it, I'm hanging up." Natasha hung up the phone.
Lyon was stunned for a moment, threw his phone on the table, and curled his lips: "It's outrageous for a subordinate to dare to bite his boss's lips."
Three hours later.
The "former" Red Room safe house in Tennessee.
Lyon was taken into the house by Natasha.
This is a cabin in the woods.
From the outside, it looks like a traditional Western-style pastoral wooden house.
It is only two stories high and can accommodate a family at most.
But after Lyon walked into the underground darkroom of the wooden house.
What he saw was a modern base with four floors of underground buildings.
Only a few Widows, whom Lyon had shared drinks with a couple of times, were present, greeting him warmly before returning to their tasks.
Natasha led Lyon to the farthest section of the base, entering the command room. She retrieved a vial and a USB drive from a secure vault.
"This is what we managed to steal with Tracy's help, along with a few of the other Widows," Natasha said, handing him the vial. "You plan to use this for your research?"
Natasha said: "I looked at some research records and it seems that there are still big problems."
"Thank you, Natasha." Lyon took the reagent and observed it in front of his eyes, "I know there is something wrong with it."
"It's just that I'm researching a virus that can give humans super regenerative abilities. Maybe the Extremis virus can give me some inspiration."
"Regeneration..." Natasha's eyes fluctuated slightly, "Can it cure physical defects?"
"Yes, but that virus still has serious side effects and cannot be used directly."
Lyon patted Natasha's arm: "But I am confident that I can solve its flaws, and very quickly."
"I'll be waiting then," Natasha teased as she wrapped her arms around Lyon's, her hand sliding over his firm chest. "So, Boss who's not really in charge, can I expect my paycheck today?"
"Here?" Lyon glanced around, noticing that the command room only had a desk.
Natasha followed his gaze, sauntering over to sit on the desk, crossing her legs seductively. "Right here. Right now."
Lyon smirked and walked closer.
"I missed your taste. Now help me remember them, big boy~" Natasha's lips curved into a mischievous smile, and she leaned forward, her breath brushing against Lyon's cheek.
Her voice was so arousing that no man could hold back. And naturally, Lyon had no intentions of holding back. Without hesitation, Lyon reached out and cupped her face, his thumbs gently caressing her cheeks.
Their lips met in a passionate kiss, soft at first, but quickly building in intensity. Natasha's hands found their way into Lyon's hair, pulling him closer, as their tongues danced together.
The kiss deepened, and Lyon's hands wandered, tracing the curves of her body. He felt the warmth of her skin beneath her tight costume, and his fingers traced the zipper at the back.
"Ha!~" With a subtle movement, he slowly unzipped it, revealing the lace bra that covered her breasts.
Lyon's fingers grazed the edge of the bra, and with a gentle tug, he exposed her breasts, their fullness and softness a sight to behold. He leaned in, his lips brushing against her skin, leaving a trail of kisses as he caressed her breasts with his hands.
Natasha let out a soft moan, her head falling back as Lyon's touch sent waves of pleasure through her. He took one erect nipple between his fingers, teasing and pinching it lightly, causing Natasha to arch her back and press herself closer to him.
Their clothes began to fall away, discarded in a rush of passion. Lyon's hands roamed over Natasha's body, exploring every inch, as she responded with sweet moans.
...
An hour and a half later.
Lyon helped Natasha straighten her clothes as she lay back in the chair, barely able to stand.
"My opinion is.. If you're not that good, maybe don't ask for too much," Lyon teased, pinching her cheek playfully.
Natasha rolled her eyes. "You could've been gentler."
"I was at first. It was you who said- 'Harder~' again and again." Lyon said with an exaggerated expression.
"Tsk* And listening to that you couldn't keep yourself in check, huh?"
"That's slander! I was just going along with what you wanted," Lyon said as he adjusted her position in the chair, leaving her looking a bit worn out.
He turned to leave. "Your payment's been delivered. I'll be off now. Keep up the good work with freeing the other Widows. Stay safe, and let me know if you need anything."
"You are leaving already? Wait! Lyon!" Natasha suddenly called out. "Did you know that A.I.M. has been kidnapping homeless people for their experiments?"
Lyon paused. "They've already started doing that? If you're telling me this, you must be thinking of making a move."
"If you're interested, two days from now, it could all become Stark's property~" Natasha replied.
Lyon raised an eyebrow. "Fantastic, of course I'm on board, but make sure you stay safe. And also..."
"I know, I'll call you if anything happens," Natasha smiled.
"Good. I'm off then!" Lyon adjusted his pants and left without a trace, taking the Extremis virus and the USB with him.
...
1:00 PM.
Stark Mansion Basement.
"Where did you just disappear to? I couldn't find you anywhere in the house, and even JARVIS couldn't track your location," Tony said, standing in his suit with arms crossed.
God knows how excited he was about this whole dimension-hopping thing!
He had worked at lightning speed to modify his suit for the adventure.
But then his annoying little brother vanished at the critical moment.
For Tony, this was like desperately needing a bathroom and not finding one!
"I asked Natasha to help me acquire a sample of the Extremis virus. It'll help with my research in the other world," Lyon explained, gesturing to the metal case in his hand.
"What is the Extremis virus?" Tony asked curiously.
"It's a bio-virus developed by an old acquaintance of yours, Killian..." Lyon briefly explained the origins of the virus.
"Sounds like a solid idea, though the chances of stabilizing it for injection seem slim," Tony nodded, intrigued. "But wait, who's Killian? I've met him before?"
"Forget it!" Tony grew impatient and urged, "Enough about irrelevant people. Let's get on with the dimension hopping already!"
"Alright, no problem." Lyon placed his hand on the shoulder of Tony's suit, enveloping him in a bio-field.
He then closed his eyes, sinking his consciousness back into the dark space of interdimensional searching.
