"Let's start with the big guy just now. It's a long story, but in fact, it has something to do with you," Tony said, carefully choosing his words. "It began—"
"Let me interrupt for a moment," Natasha Romanoff interjected, walking over. "It's not just related to Lyon. It has to do with you as well, Mr. Stark."
"Oh? There's more to this? Natasha, you explain," Lyon said, glancing at Natasha and her sister Yelena as they approached.
As for Hulk, the story's origin went back to a few months ago, starting with Lyon's destruction of the Military Nest base in Afghanistan.
At that time:
No matter what Lyon did in Afghanistan, or how he ignored military warnings while crossing borders, his actions deeply provoked certain warmongering factions within the U.S. military.
Among them, Lieutenant General Ross of the Air Force took immediate action that very same day.
He issued orders overnight, demanding that the military accelerate its super-soldier research at any cost, intending to use it as a countermeasure against Superman.
Although, just a month later, Lyon demonstrated what it truly meant to withstand nuclear attacks and embody a walking natural disaster.
Lyon's display of power immediately extinguished the military's ambitions.
However, General Ross's super-soldier program still made progress.
Through persistent searches and investigations, they eventually located their former "experimental subject"—Bruce Banner!
Dr. Bruce Banner was a brilliant physicist, holding multiple doctorate degrees.
Back in 2003, while working on a military research project, he was accidentally exposed to gamma radiation. This transformed him into the Hulk, a green-skinned giant, and led to a catastrophic loss of control that injured both his girlfriend, Betty Ross, and her father, General Ross.
It wasn't until he escaped the military base that Banner regained his clarity of mind.
But by then, he had already become a nationally wanted fugitive.
Fully aware that if General Ross captured him, they would exploit the monstrous entity inside him to wage war, Banner abandoned everything he had in the U.S. and fled to Brazil.
This self-imposed exile lasted for five years.
During that time, in 2006, after Stark Industries launched its latest line of digital products, Banner used a new communication device to send a final message to his girlfriend, Betty Ross, before disappearing completely.
A few days ago, the military finally uncovered a new lead.
They contacted Stark Industries, and through data tracing and big data tracking, they located Dr. Bruce Banner in a small factory in Brazil.
What followed was a series of events: pursuit, Hulk's rampage, Banner's escape, and yet another chase.
Eventually, the military caught Banner off guard and injected him with a massive dose of anesthetics via remote means, successfully capturing him and transporting him back to New York.
Meanwhile, Betty Ross, who had been out of contact with Banner for years, discovered her father, General Ross, was leading the operation.
Still harboring feelings for Banner, Betty secretly swiped her father's access card, snuck into the base, and freed him.
The two reunited lovers fled into the city, trying to hail a cab to escape.
However, the ever-vigilant military tracked them down and surrounded them again.
This time, among the intercepting forces was a soldier who had been exposed to Hulk's contaminated blood during a previous capture attempt.
His name was Emil Blonsky. Once an elite soldier with a perfectly human appearance, Blonsky had now transformed into a towering, immensely powerful monster similar to the Hulk, thanks to the effects of Hulk's blood.
This creature was referred to by the military as Abomination.
True to its name, Abomination showed no distinction between friend or foe once it started fighting.
It even killed several of the soldiers sent to assist in the operation.
Forced to act, Banner transformed into the green giant Hulk once again to protect his girlfriend. The two monstrous beings clashed fiercely on the streets of New York.
The battle raged from one end of the street to the other.
Cars in their hands became nothing more than fragile clubs, smashed and discarded after one use, only to grab another.
And then—
The arrival of the MIB agents and Iron Man.
When several agents, clad in combat armor, descended from the skies, the street was already littered with wrecked vehicles, not a single one intact.
The well-trained, highly coordinated operatives quickly spread out and encircled the two monsters.
Upon reaching the scene, they immediately assessed the best course of action.
Part of the team focused on evacuating civilians, while the others swarmed forward to engage.
First, four black-clad agents slid across the ground, performing low sweeps to target the joints of Hulk and Abomination, causing both monsters to crash to the ground.
Then, more than twenty agents stepped in, locking the limbs of the two creatures with precise joint techniques.
It's worth noting that each agent had a strength exceeding 40 tons.
Even one of them alone might not have been easily defeated by these two monsters, let alone more than twenty working together.
On Hulk's arm alone, there were at least six agents restraining him.
Both monsters were pinned to the ground, reduced to roaring in frustration.
Even that was quickly handled—
Every time one of them opened their mouths to roar, the agents would immediately shove tranquilizers into their jaws.
Abomination didn't last long and quickly fell unconscious, slipping into a dazed stupor.
Hulk, however, proved far more resilient. Despite being pumped full of tranquilizers, he stubbornly kept his eyes open, bellowing "HULK!!"
At that moment, Tony arrived, sporting his new armor.
"Oh, wow! Look at this little green baby escaping from some lab. So this is Hulk?"
"Ladies, you've done a great job so far. Leave the rest to me!"
"Wait, Mr. Stark, you're already… never mind, forget I said anything," one of the agents tried to warn Tony not to cause more trouble, but she stopped mid-sentence.
Without hesitation, Tony landed on Hulk's head and began punching his massive forehead.
As he threw each punch, he said, "Sleep, sleep, sleep!"
It was like a kid at an arcade machine, trying to give hints to the game through sheer willpower.
However, Tony's punches—each with a force of roughly 100 tons—didn't seem to have the intended effect.
Instead of subduing Hulk, they jolted him back to full consciousness, making him even angrier.
"ROAR!!" Hulk roared furiously.
His strength surged in an instant, and he broke free of the agents' restraints, throwing all the "little black dots" clinging to him off his body.
He pounded the ground with his fists, causing it to shake, and then stood up, his slightly reddened eyes glaring at the black-and-gold Iron Man in front of him.
"Uh… big Shrek, did I disturb your nap? Should we try that again?"
Tony could feel the overwhelming pressure radiating from Hulk's gaze. "My brother taught me a few lullabies—what's your favorite style? Of course, just so you know, rocking you like a baby is off the table."
"ROAR!!" Hulk opened his massive jaws and roared furiously at Tony.
"Wow, to be honest, your breath could use some work," Tony quipped as he raised his hand and fired an energy blast directly at Hulk's face.
The blast pushed Hulk's head back, but his face didn't even have a scratch.
Instead, his eyes burned even redder.
"ROAR!!"
Hulk threw a punch at Tony, sending the irritating Iron Man flying.
Tony's "fragile" resistance had no effect whatsoever on the enraged green giant.
Boom!
Tony crashed heavily into the side of a nearby apartment building, obliterating the living room.
"Ow… that stung. How is Green Baby stronger than Wenwu?" Tony muttered, pushing away the rubble surrounding him.
Just as he was about to get up, he noticed a family of four frozen in shock by the dining table nearby.
His movements stalled for a moment.
"I'm really sorry for not knocking first… uh, is that barracuda? Not bad for lunch! Haha, but I'll just leave now and won't join you for the meal."
"Although, judging by your expressions, it doesn't look like you'll be continuing to eat anytime soon."
Tony babbled awkwardly as he made his way toward the large hole he had crashed through.
"Oh, right, about this… hole. Someone will come by to compensate you later. You might even get to pick a new house, and—whoa, whoa, whoa!"
A massive green hand suddenly reached into the room, grabbed Tony, and yanked him out.
"Big guy! You should've let me finish my sentence. Now I'm getting a little annoyed!"
Tony was tossed around in the air by Hulk, and with the thrusters at full power, he broke free from Hulk's big hand.
