Holding onto that resolution, Zenith marched a few steps closer and tapped Barnes on his shoulder, before cryptically rolling his onyx eyes at him, "If you truly don't consider Aiden anything else apart from your family, then how will you feel if Aiden finds someone else who becomes way more important to him than you ever would be? How would it feel to watch him getting stolen away by someone else when you didn't get your chance yet?"
His low but intense mumble startled Barnes a bit, but he could evidently sense the depth behind his words. He was taken aback, but before his could bring himself to speak a word in defense, Zenith muttered with another pat, "You should have a clearer vision of your feelings, Mr. Barnes. Instead of living the rest of your life in regret, figure out your emotions first."
